48 National League Best Players of All Time

Andrew Kovacs

The National League is one of the two leagues that make up Major League Baseball in North America. It was formed in 1876 and is the older of the two leagues. It consists of 15 teams, with five teams in each of the three divisions.

The National League operates under a different set of rules than the American League, including a different way of managing player rosters. The National League is known for its strong pitching and defense, as opposed to the American League’s focus on offense.

The winner of the National League Championship Series advances to the World Series, where they compete for the title of World Series champion.
