The Missouri Tigers football program is one of the oldest and most storied programs in college football. Established in 1890, the Tigers have won over 800 games and 11 conference championships, including the Big 12 North Division title in 2007.
The Tigers have made 24 bowl appearances, including six appearances in the Cotton Bowl Classic. The team has been led by some of the greatest players in the history of the sport, including Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel and All-American offensive lineman Gabe Carimi.

Markus Golden was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 13th, 1991. At 6'3" and weighing in at 259 lbs., Markus is an imposing linebacker with NFL potential.

In his lone season with the Seahawks, Lock led them to an 11-5 record and their first NFC West title since 2013.
At 26 years old, Lock is already considered one of the top young quarterbacks in the league and has demonstrated that he can be successful both on offense and defense Drew Lock is a talented quarterback who has had success in the SEC.
He was named first-team All-SEC in both 2017 and 2018, and he led the SEC with 25 touchdown passes and 20 interceptions in 2017.
The lock also has rushing stats that are respectable, averaging 285 yards per season over four years of play at Missouri State. The 24-year-old will likely be drafted soon and could have a bright future in the NFL as one of the league’s top quarterbacks.

Roger Wehrli was an All-Pro cornerback for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1969 to 1982. He was a two-time First Team All-Pro and helped the Cardinals win five division titles during that span.
After playing his entire career with the Cardinals, Wehrli retired in 1982 after helping lead St. Louis to their first-ever Super Bowl appearance. Roger Wehrli is now 75 years old and resides in New Point, Missouri with his wife of 44 years, Bettye Jean Wehrli."
Wehrli's son Christian plays football at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Roger Wehrli was a consensus All-American in 1968 at Missouri.
He played seven seasons with the Cardinals, becoming one of their all-time greats and earning two Pro Bowl appearances. In 1984, he was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers but never made it to an NFL game due to injury.
After retiring from football, Wehrli began his coaching career as linebackers coach for the St Louis Rams (1987–1989).
From 1990 to 1995, he served as defensive coordinator for four different teams: Oakland Raiders (1990), Miami Dolphins (1991), New Orleans Saints (1992), and Buffalo Bills (1993).
Since 1996, Wehrli has been head coach of the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europa where he has led them to three league championships over that time period including back-to-back titles in 2006 and 2007 respectively.

Sheldon Richardson was selected with the 13th pick of the 2013 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. After spending three seasons with the Jets, he signed a four-year, $36 million contract with Seattle in 2017.
In 2018, Richardson played for Minnesota and Cleveland before being released by the Browns in October 2020. Richardson had a very successful career in the NFL, winning Defensive Rookie of the Year and being named to several All-Pro teams.
Richardson is known for his power and strength on defense, which has led to him being one of the most dominant defenders in the league. He has been fined multiple times for unsportsmanlike conduct, something that may concern some teams looking into acquiring him.

Kony Ealy was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the 2014 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons with the team before being traded to New England in 2017. Ealy signed a contract with the Jets earlier this year and has played well thus far in 2018.
Kony Ealy was drafted with the 10th overall pick by the Carolina Panthers in the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Missouri and recorded 102 tackles, 15 sacks, six forced fumbles and one interception over his four-year career.
Ealy made his professional debut with Carolina in Week 7 of the 2014 season and registered two tackles before being waived on September 2nd.

Gabbert had a mixed career in the NFL, playing for three different teams over five seasons. Gabbert is best known for his time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he started 35 games and threw for 2,814 yards and 11 touchdowns on 563 attempts.
After being traded to San Francisco in 2016, Gabbert only played one game before being waived by the Cardinals at the end of 2017 season. Gabbert is currently out of football after undergoing surgery to repair his torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) last year.
Gabbert was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012 and spent two seasons with the team. Gabbert was traded to the Arizona Cardinals in 2014, where he played for one season before being released in 2015.

Chase Daniel played for three teams in the NFL, including a stint with the Washington Redskins. In 2013, Chase signed with the Kansas City Chiefs and led them to an appearance in Super Bowl XLIV.

Charles Harris is a defensive end who was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2017 NFL Draft. Harris played college football at Missouri and had three years of experience as a starter before being picked 22nd overall by Miami.
In his rookie year with Miami, he had seven sacks and helped lead the team to their first playoff appearance since 2008.
After two seasons with the Dolphins, Harris signed with Detroit in 2019 and has started all nine games for them so far this season recording 18 tackles (11 solo), five sacks, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one QB hit among other stats.
Charles Harris was a dominant player in college, winning two SEC titles and being named Second-team All-American both years. Harris has been impressive so far in the NFL, tallying 153 total tackles including 15 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.
He's also had 4 pass deflections on the season. The Falcons lost key players to injury this year, but with Harris leading the way they should be just fine going forward.

E. J. Gaines was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the 2014 NFL Draft and played for them from 2014 to 2016 before signing with the Buffalo Bills in 2017.

Kris Abrams-Draine is a junior cornerback for the Missouri Tigers. She played in all 13 games last season, registering 33 tackles, one interception and four pass breakups.
Abrams-Draine was part of an Alabama secondary that led the SEC in interceptions (15) and passes defended (54). Her father, Kris Durden, won two Super Bowls with the Chicago Bears as a player in 1985 and 1986.
Abrams-Draine has been named to several preseason All-American teams and is considered one of the top cornerbacks in college football this year. Abrams-Draine attended Missouri and is currently a freshman. She played defense for the Tigers during their inaugural season in 2020.
Abrams-Draine was an all-district selection her senior year at Spanish Fort High School, where she also earned MVP honors as a quarterback on the varsity football team.
She has represented USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program (NTDP) both Under 18 (2018–19) and 19/20 seasons, helping lead the squad to gold medals at the 2019 IIHF U18 Women’s.

Kentrell Brothers is a linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL draft by the Vikings. In his first year with Minnesota, he recorded 69 tackles and one interception during 16 games played.
The following year saw Kentrell record 93 tackles and two interceptions in 15 games played as well as 1 forced fumble while playing under head coach Mike Zimmer who was later fired.

Marcus Murphy is a running back who was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played for three teams over four seasons, appearing in 24 games and rushing for 1,052 yards on 245 carries (4.8 yards per carry).
Murphy signed with the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent in 2018 and appeared in one game before being released on September 2nd. Marcus Murphy was the SEC Special Teams Player of the Year in 2014 and First-team All-SEC selection.

Mitch Morse was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 2015 NFL Draft. Morse started all 16 games for the Bills in his rookie season, and helped them make a playoff appearance.
In 2017, Morse missed time due to injury but still managed to start 13 of 14 games he played in. In 2018, Morse once again missed time through injury but still finished with 68 tackles and two sacks on the year.
Mitch Morse is scheduled to enter free agency after the 2020 NFL Season Morse has played for the Chiefs and Bills in his four-year career. Morse is a versatile player who can play both center and guard positions.
He was drafted by Kansas City in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft, and he started all 16 games as a rookie for the Chiefs. In 2017, Morse signed with Buffalo as an unrestricted free agent, and he started all 16 games at left guard for the Bills that year.

Britt started all 16 games at center for the Texans in 2018. Britt is a versatile lineman who has played both guard and center in his NFL career thusfar.
His college experience came at Missouri, where he was part of two SEC Championship teams as well as playing in the 2013 BCS National Championship game against Auburn.
Britt is known for his strong run blocking ability, which helped him to pave the way for Lamar Miller (1,079 yards) and D'Onta Foreman (878 yards) last season.
He will be looking to build on this performance during 2019 with new head coach Brian Hoyer leading the attack from center field.
Britt is a versatile lineman who has started at both guard and tackle in the NFL. Britt was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2014 and has since played for the Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks.
He's been praised for his play on special teams, where he's recorded 22 tackles over three seasons.
Britt will miss Week 1 of the 2021 season due to a reserve/non-football illness but is expected to be back in time for Week 2 against the Oakland Raiders.

Luther Burden III is a freshman receiver for the Missouri Tigers. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 12th, 2003. Luther played football and basketball growing up before choosing to focus solely on football during his high school years.
Luther has received scholarship offers from several top programs including Alabama, Oregon, and Ohio State among others but has yet to commit anywhere as of early 2017.
At 5'11", 190 pounds, Luther is an aggressive receiver who uses speed and strength to take the ball downfield for touchdowns or big plays in the passing game.
In 2016 Luther helped lead his team to a state championship while also setting numerous records both on offense and defense en route to being named MVP of the tournament.
Although he still has some work to do before declaring for college (Luther plans on taking visits this fall), there's no doubt that Luther Burden will be one of the most hyped recruits in 2018 when he decides where he'll play next season.

Jeremy Maclin is a wide receiver who played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2009 to 2014. He was drafted by the Chiefs in 2015, but he only spent one season with them before moving on to Baltimore.
Maclin has had an impressive career, both in terms of his statistics and his Pro Bowl selections. In total, he has caught 927 passes for 14,318 yards and 83 touchdowns.
He also stands out as a return specialist; over the course of his career, he has returned 244 kicks for 3,519 yards and two touchdowns – making him one of the best in that area too.

Henry Josey is a running back for the Atlanta Falcons. He was drafted by the team in 2014 and has been a mainstay on the roster ever since. Henry Josey attended Missouri, where he played under head coach Gary Pinkel.
He helped lead the Tigers to two SEC championships in his three seasons there and finished with over 2,000 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns on 522 attempts during that time period.
After going undrafted in 2014, Henry signed with the Philadelphia Eagles but didn't make an appearance on their active roster until December of that year after they traded away LeSean McCoy.
From then on, Henry had flashes of brilliance before eventually being placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury sustained Week 10 against Chicago Bears.
In 2016, Henry made it onto Atlanta's 53-man roster as an unrestricted free agent following injuries to Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman (both incumbent starters).
Despite averaging just 3 yards per carry through 11 games (due largely to poor play from quarterback Matt Ryan ), he still managed to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career en route to earning Pro Bowl honors at season's end.
Currently entering his fourth NFL season - 2018 will be his third with Atlanta - expectations are high for Henry as one of top offensive weapons within this ATL offense led by new head coach Steve Sarkisian.
If not THE weapon given how often teams have struggled defending against Julio Jones & Co.'s aerial attack throughout Henry's tenure thus far.

Paul Christman was a quarterback in the NFL for 13 seasons. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, and Chicago Bears. Christman led his teams to a total of five division championships and one conference championship during his career.
He is best known for leading the Cardinals to an upset victory over the Baltimore Colts in 1951 - which is often cited as one of the greatest upsets in NFL history.
Christman died from cancer at age 51 after playing professionally for 26 years. Christman was one of the most prolific passers in Missouri Tigers history.
He completed 58 percent of his passes for 7,294 yards and 54.8 passer rating during his four seasons with the team.
Christman is a two-time All-American and led Missouri to three bowl games during that span including their first ever Sugar Bowl appearance in 1969 where they lost to Alabama 21–17.
After leaving college, Christman played five years in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers before retiring after 1949 season due to injuries sustained while playing pro football.

Brad Smith was a wide receiver for the Missouri Tigers from 2003-2006. He had a successful career at Mizzou, amassing over 1,000 yards in each of his four seasons there.
In 2006, he was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round and spent three years with them before signing with the Kansas City Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent in 2009.
Brad Smith has also played for the Carolina Panthers and Oakland Raiders during his NFL career. He is currently a member of the New England Patriots after they signed him to a two-year deal earlier this year.
Brad Smith is married and has one child; he enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends when not playing football or working out on his own time frame Smith was a second-round pick by the Jets in 2006 and played for them until 2010.

Damarea Crockett was a running back for the Denver Broncos in 2019. He had some success with the team, but was cut late in the season. Crockett attended Missouri and played college football there before being undrafted in 2019.
Damarea is from Magnolia, Arkansas and stands at 5'11" (1.80 meters) tall and weighs 225 pounds (102 kilograms).
He has yet to make an impact on NFL level but could have potential as a backup or special teams player down the line if he continues to develop his skills Damarea Crockett was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Crockett is a running back who played collegiately at Temple University. He has experience as a receiver, and will likely see action on offense this season for the Raiders.

Moore was drafted by the Packers in 2018, but only played for them during their playoff run. He signed with the Browns in 2019 and 2020 before being traded to the Maulers late in 2020.
Moore is a talented wide receiver who has had success playing against top competition. He caught 36 passes for 539 yards and six touchdowns while playing with Green Bay and Cleveland.
J'Mon Moore will be a key player on the Maulers this season as they look to make it back to the playoffs after missing out last year.
Moore was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. Moore had a productive rookie season with 47 receptions for 554 yards and 3 touchdowns. In 2021, Moore suffered an ACL injury that will sideline him for most of the year.
Upon his return in 2022, Moore has continued to be one of Houston's top receivers, recording 43 receptions for 641 yards and 4 touchdowns over 14 games played.
In 2023, after injuries have hindered other members of the receiver corps on both sides of the ball, Moore is thrust into a starting role and he doesn't disappoint - amassing 51 catches for 757 yards and 8 touchdowns en route to being named first-team All Pro at wideout.

Isaiah McGuire is a senior defensive end for the Missouri Tigers. He was a three-year starter and was named to the All-SEC Second Team in 2016. Isaiah McGuire has been described as an explosive player who can be disruptive off the edge.
His size and athleticism make him difficult to block, even for taller offensive linemen. Isaiah McGuire finished his career with 54 sacks, ranking fourth all time at Missouri and eighth in SEC history.
He also had 94 tackles for loss, third most in school history and 10 forced fumbles, second most in school history.
After graduating from college, Isaiah McGuire will likely enter the NFL draft where he is expected to be a top pick. Isaiah McGuire is a two-time second-team All-SEC selection and a key player for the Missouri Tigers.

Aldon Smith is a talented defensive end who has had a successful career in the NFL. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2011 and played for them until 2014.

Connor Bazelak is a junior quarterback at the University of Dayton. He was ranked as one of the top quarterbacks in his class, and has been highly touted by both recruiting services and coaches.
Connor began playing football when he was just five years old, and quickly developed into an exceptional player. By the time he reached high school, he had already thrown for over 6,000 yards and 70 touchdowns while also rushing for 2,000 more yards.
Connor chose to attend the University of Dayton due to its strong athletic program and excellent academics; he is majoring in business administration with a minor in marketing.
Connor has already made an impact on campus – during his freshman year alone, he led UD to victory against Alabama A&M (a Division I team) in the opening game of their season.
Connor is excited about continuing his career at UD – not only does he have all-conference honors under his belt from high school but he feels that this university offers him everything that he needs to reach his potential as a quarterback.
In addition, Connor has been involved with several community service projects throughout Ohio; among these are work with children who are affected by cancerous tumors or homelessness.

Dan Larose was a tackle, defensive end and guard in the NFL. He played for the Detroit Lions (1961-1966), Chicago Bears (1967-1968) and Kansas City Chiefs (1969).
LaRose also had a brief stint with the American Football League's Buffalo Bills (1970). The Missouri native was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
Dan passed away on April 27, 2019 at the age of 80 after suffering from Alzheimer's Disease for several years. LaRose was an All-American at the University of Oklahoma, and he played for the Detroit Lions from 1961 to 1963.
Larose then played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1964 to 1965 before moving onto play for the San Francisco 49ers in 1966. LaRose retired after playing with Denver Broncos in 1967.

Tyler Badie was born in 2000 and played high school football at Briarcrest Christian in Eads, Tennessee. He then attended Missouri from 2018-2021 where he started 10 games as a running back and caught 33 passes for 437 yards and three touchdowns.
In the 2022 NFL Draft, Tyler Badie was selected by the Denver Broncos in the sixth round with 196th overall pick. Since joining the team, he has appeared in 36 games (24 starts) rushing for 639 yards on 117 carries (5.1 avg.) with five touchdowns and 20 receptions for 167 yards (8 avg.).

Hank Burnine was a standout defensive end at Richmond High School in Missouri. He played college football at Missouri and was drafted in the 1955 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.
Burnine played six seasons with the Browns and had a total of 128 tackles and two sacks. He was traded to the Baltimore Colts in 1964 and played two more seasons with them. Burnine retired from the NFL in 1966 and moved to Higginsville, Missouri.
He passed away on January 21, 2020, at the age of 87. Hank Burnine was a linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants in the NFL.

The Missouri Tigers football program is one of the oldest and most storied programs in college football.
