Brandon McNally

The London Knights are an iconic junior ice hockey team from London, Ontario. Founded in 1965 as the London Nationals, they have become one of the most successful teams in the Ontario Hockey League and Canadian Hockey League with two Memorial Cup championships to their name. Known for producing elite talent over its long history, fans continue to flock to Budweiser Gardens every game night hoping for another championship run.

1. Bo Horvat

Bo Horvat

Horvat was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the first round, 33rd overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Horvat has spent his entire professional career with the Canucks organization and has appeared in over 200 games scoring 39 goals and 101 assists for 149 points.

Horvat is a versatile forward who can play on either wing and contribute offensively both at even strength and on the powerplay. He also possesses good hockey sense and defensive instincts which have helped him become an effective two-way player. 

In 2017-18, Horvat led all forwards in ice time (24:14) while posting a team-high 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists).

He was also named to participate in Canada's World Cup of Hockey roster but did not appear in any games as they were eliminated early from tournament play. 

 Horvat will be joining Team Canada at this year's IIHF World Championship where he is expected to add some much needed offense to their lineup after finishing fourth among regular Canadians with 25 points (11 goals, 16 assists) during qualifying campaign earlier this year.

2. Evan Bouchard

Evan Bouchard

Evan Bouchard is a young player in the NHL who has had a meteoric rise up the ranks. He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the first round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and made his debut with them this season playing 46 games.

He's been impressive for Bakersfield Condors, scoring 21 goals and 66 points in 73 games so far this season. 

His play has caught the attention of many teams, including the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks who are both reportedly interested in acquiring him at some point during next season or beyond.

Evan is an excellent skater with good puck control, making him difficult to knock off of the puck even when he's being pressured by opponents high up on the ice Evan Bouchard was drafted 10th overall in the 2018 NHL Draft by the Edmonton Oilers. 

He is a defenceman and shoots right. Evan has played for the London Knights of the OHL since 2016-17, where he won back-to-back championships with them in 2017-18.

In May 2018, he made his debut with Canada at the World Juniors Championships, scoring two goals in seven games en route to winning a gold medal. On November 2nd, 2018, Evan scored his first NHL goal against Connor Hellebuyck of Winnipeg Jets on Hockey Night in Canada's game 7 victory over their rivals from Manitoba. 

Currently playing for Edmonton Oilers, Evan is looking to continue building upon his impressive rookie season and help lead them toward championship contention next year.

3. Cliff Pu

Cliff Pu

Pu is a center for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League. Pu has scored 46 goals and 101 points in 163 games played over two seasons with the Knights.

Pu was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the fourth round, 116th overall, of the 2016 NHL Draft. 

Pu attended both North Bay and Sudbury minor hockey programs before choosing to play for North York in junior ranks where he won back-to-back OHL championships with them as a 17-year old in 2015–16 and 2016–17 seasons respectively.

In early November 2017, it was announced that Pu had signed an entry level contract with Vancouver Canucks organization following his selection at development camp that summer. 

Cliff's father Tony is also a professional ice hockey player who played nine games during his career with multiple teams including stints playing for Toronto Maple Leafs (1988), Hartford Whalers (1990)and Columbus Blue Jackets (1998).

4. Rob Schremp

Rob Schremp is a center in the LHHL who has played for HK Mogo, Edmonton Oilers and now the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. Rob Schremp was born on July 1st, 1986 in Fulton, New York.

He stands at 5'11" and weighs 200 pounds. Rob Schremp shoots left-handed and is considered an offensive defenseman by many scouts. 

In his first season with HK Mogo in the LHHL, he led all defensemen with 28 points (four goals and 24 assists) in 53 games played to help his team make it to the post-season where they were eliminated by Owen Sound Attack 4-1 in the first round.

The following year saw Rob improve upon his point total as he finished second amongst all defensemen with 41 points (seven goals and 34 assists) across 54 games played. 

While leading Mogo back to playoff action this time losing 3-2 against Mississauga Steelheads after taking a 2-0 series lead before falling short again to Owen Sound Attack 4-1 this time going down 4 game en route to another first round exit at their hands after being swept by Sarnia Sting during their opening three matchups of that postseason).

In 2013Rob had a successful pro tryout stint with Edmonton Oilers AHL affiliate Oklahoma City Barons scoring one goal along with six assists over nine games helping secure an NHL contract for 2014/2015.

Would spend most of that season playing for EDM's ECHL affiliate Tulsa Oilers recording two goals along with 16 assists over 26 regular season contests before finally making his debut. 

Within Edmonton's organization appearing twice more for OKC over four separate stints totaling 18 appearances posting no points nor registering any penalties whilst averaging 13:50 minutes ice time per appearance).

During training camp of 2016 Rob made the decision to return home join former teammate Brendan Leipsic as teammates on newly formed team HC Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds thus joining Mike Ricciardone(former Moose Jaw Warriors head coach).

Assistant coaches Corey Hirsch(Moose Jaw Warriors), Keith McCambridge(Saginaw Spirit captain) & goaltending consultant Rick Wamsley provided some much needed veteran leadership alongside newcomers such as defenceman. 

Keegan Lowe from Charlottetown Islanders followed shortly afterwards by forwards Nicolas Roy from Baie Verte Quebec Jrs.,Tristan Van Den Berghe from Rouyn Voltaire Q.

5. Brian Bradley

Brian Bradley

Brian Bradley is a centre in the NHL. He was drafted in the 2nd round, 41st overall by the Calgary Flames in 1984. Bradley played for Calgary, Hartford and Philadelphia before signing with Phoenix as a free agent in 2002.

In 2009-10 he led all Coyotes forwards with 26 goals and 57 points while helping them make it to the Western Conference Finals where they were defeated by San Jose Sharks Bradley was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 1983 NHL Draft.

He played for the Canucks, Maple Leafs, Lightning and Canada throughout his career. Brian Bradley is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Calgary Flames and Tampa Bay Lightning respectively. Bradley retired from professional hockey in 1998 after playing 18 seasons of ice hockey.

Allison was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the first round, 17th overall, of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Allison played his first NHL game on October 4, 1998 against the Detroit Red Wings and scored a goal.

Allison had 101 goals and 222 assists for 329 points in 830 career games with Washington Capitals, Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings before retiring after the 2009-10 season.

 In 2008 he was awarded as one of Canada's Top 20 Under Twenty Five players by The Hockey News magazine and received a silver medal at the World Championships that year as captain of Team Canada under coach Pat Quinn.

He also won an Olympic gold medal with Team Canada in 2006 when he led all scorers with six goals during their victory over Sweden in overtime to win gold medals at Torino Olympics tournament final. 

Following his retirement from hockey Allison became an analyst on TSN SportsCentre alongside Pierre LeBrun where they cover Stanley Cup Playoffs along with hosts James Duthie and Guy Carbonneau.

Jason is married to former Canadian soccer player Kristina Stewart whom he met while she played for Rennes FFC (France).

7. Liam Foudy

Liam Foudy

Liam Foudy is a 22-year-old Canadian centre who has enjoyed success at both club and international level. He made his senior debut for Toronto FC in 2017, before being named to the Canada national team that same year.

In 2018, he helped Toronto FC win their first ever MLS Cup title. He was also part of the Canada side that reached the final of the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup, where they lost to Mexico on penalties after a 0–0 draw in regulation time.

Liam Foudy is currently contracted to Toronto FC until 2021 Liam Foudy is a Canadian center playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL. 

He was drafted 18th overall by the team in 2018. Liam has had an impressive career so far, winning gold with Canada at both the World Junior Championships andWorld Championship tournaments earlier this year.

He will be hoping to continue his good form into next season and help Columbus improve on their sixth-place finish last year. Liam is a hardworking player who takes pride in contributing offensively as well as defensively for his team. 

He has been praised for his leadership qualities, being able to set an example both on and off the ice for younger players looking up to him."

8. Christian Dvorak

Dvorak is a forward who was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the first round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He played two seasons with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and helped them win their second Memorial Cup championship in 2017.

Dvorak made his NHL debut with New Jersey on October 11, 2017 against Philadelphia. He scored his first career NHL goal on November 10, 2017 against Buffalo Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner. 

On May 15, 2018, Dvorak signed a three-year contract extension with the Devils worth $6 million USD per season starting in 2019-20 season Christian Dvorak was drafted 58th overall by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2014 NHL Draft.

The left winger has spent his entire professional career with the Coyotes, playing 176 games and recording 49 points. Christian is a natural goal scorer who can put up big numbers any time he gets on the ice; in fact, he led all rookies in scoring last season with 41 points in 71 games played. 

He's also not afraid to go to battle on both sides of the puck; being one of only four players (along with Connor McDavid, Max Domi, and Jack Eichel) to lead their team in penalty minutes as well as take home rookie of year honours last season.

In addition to his hockey skills, Christian is also known for his work ethic and dedication off-the-ice - something that will surely serve him well if he ever makes it into an NHL squad full-time.

9. Connor McMichael

Connor McMichael was born in Ajax, Ontario on January 15th, 2001. Connor is a right-handed defenseman and has played for the Capitals organization since the 2016-17 season.

In his rookie year with Washington, McMichael recorded 9 assists and finished third among all rookies in points (24). In 2018-19, he added 6 goals and 19 assists for 25 points in 53 games during what would be his sophomore campaign with the Capitals organization.

Following the conclusion of the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs where McMichael helped lead Washington to their first championship since 1997, he signed a three-year extension worth $7 million with an average annual value of $3 million through 2024/25 season. 

Which kicks off this upcoming October 1st against Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena Connor McMichael is a left-handed shooter who was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 2019 NHL Draft.

Connor has played for the Hershey Bears in the AHL since 2017, and he has been playing well this season. Connor is looking to continue his success with Washington next year and make an impact on the NHL level.

10. Dave Bolland

Dave Bolland

Dave Bolland is a 36-year-old Canadian professional ice hockey player. He currently plays for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Bolland was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the first round, 18th overall, at the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He played his junior hockey with Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

After four seasons with Anaheim, Bolland was traded to Chicago in exchange for Jordan Leopold on September 27, 2007. In 525 career games with Anaheim and Chicago, he has scored 137 goals and added 150 assists.

Bolland made his Stanley Cup playoffs debut with Chicago during their 2008 postseason run where they were eliminated in five games by Detroit Lakes Wings.. The following season he helped lead Chicago to their fourth Stanley Cup championship victory over Philadelphia Flyers in six games during the 2010 playoffs.

On April 6th 2018 Dave announced his retirement from professional hockey after 14 seasons playing 478 regular season games averaging 19:56 minutes per game along with 121 points. 

Which ranks him fifth among all players who have ever suited up for both teams mentioned above (Anaheim Ducks/Chicago Blackhawks) only behind Steve Yzerman(731 GP), Phil Esposito(690 GP), Patrick Roy(538 GP), and Jonathan Toews(526GP)).

11. Tim Taylor

Tim Taylor was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada on February 6, 1969. He played centre for the Montreal Canadiens from 1996 to 2006 and then joined the Boston Bruins in 2007.

In his career with the Canadiens, he won two Stanley Cups (1996 and 2003) as well as a Conn Smythe Trophy (2003). After leaving Montreal, Tim Taylor signed with the Dallas Stars where he spent one season before retiring at the end of 2008-09.

Tim Taylor is currently an analyst for TSN Habs broadcasts and also has his own hockey training business called "Hockey Success". 

In 2011, Tim Taylor became engaged to actress Valerie Jardin whom he met while filming an episode of The L Word together in 2009 Tim Taylor was a prolific scorer in the NHL, amassing over 1000 points in his career.

He played for five different teams, including Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins, New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning. 

In 2006–07 season he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. After playing out his career with Washington Capitals, Tim Taylor currently works as an analyst for Fox Sports Midwest covering the Chicago Blackhawks games.

12. Dave Simpson

Dave Simpson was born on March 3, 1962 in London, Ontario. He is a centre and played for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1981 to 1986. After leaving the NHL, he played in Europe for several seasons before coming back to North America and playing parts of two seasons with the Phoenix Coyotes.

In 2007, Simpson became head coach of the Windsor Spitfires in the OHL and led them to two consecutive Memorial Cups (the Canadian championship). 

In 2013-14 he returned as head coach of London Knights but resigned after one season due to health reasons; he currently works as an assistant coach with Team Canada at international tournaments such as World Championships and Olympic Games Dave Simpson was drafted by the Indianapolis Checkers in 1980, and then traded to the Baltimore Skipjacks.

He played for both teams until 1986. Dave Simpson had a very successful career with the Islanders, appearing in over 500 games and scoring 139 goals. After retiring from hockey, Dave Simpson became a color commentator for New York Rangers broadcasts on MSG Network.

13. Vladislav Namestnikov

Vladislav Namestnikov

Vladislav Namestnikov is a 30-year-old Russian centerman who has played for the Tampa Bay Lightning and Montreal Canadiens in the NHL. He was drafted by Tampa Bay with the sixth overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Namestnikov had an impressive rookie season, scoring 11 goals and 34 assists for 45 points in 78 games. Injuries have limited him to just 48 games over three seasons since then but he still managed to score 10 goals and 20 assists during that time.

The question mark heading into next season is whether or not Namestnikov will be able to recapture his form from earlier in his career due to injuries limiting him recently; however. 

If he can stay healthy it's likely that he will continue putting up good numbers offensively as he does tend to be a very consistent player statistically throughout his entire career regardless of how many games he plays each year." 

Namestnikov loves playing on Russia's national team where his skillset fits perfectly alongside skilled forwards such as Evgeny Kuznetsov, Pavel Datsyuk and Alexander Ovechkin." 

He seems like someone who would fit well into any type of lineup - whether you use him on your top line or bottom six depending on what game plan you are going for."

14. Dylan Hunter

Hunter is a veteran of the American Hockey League, having played for the Rochester Americans and Providence Bruins. He has also played in Europe during his career, playing for HC Davos in Switzerland and Jokerit Helsinki in Finland.

Hunter scored 27 goals and 58 assists for 83 points with Rochester over parts of three seasons before being traded to Providence midway through the 2009–10 season. 

With Providence, he helped lead the team to their first Calder Cup championship in franchise history in 2010-11 after finishing as runner up the year prior.

After spending two years with Columbus Blue Jackets affiliate Springfield Falcons, Hunter was signed by Edmonton Oilers affiliate Oklahoma City Barons on July 1st 2014.

He re-joined Providence during their 2015 Calder Cup run where he recorded 2 goals and 6 assists over 19 games helping propel them to another championship victory against Toronto Maple Leafs.

15. Joel Scherban

Joel Scherban is a 42-year-old Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played centre for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL) from 2006 to 2013.

Scherban was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round, 21st overall, at the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with Toronto during the 2002–03 season and spent four seasons with them before being traded to Vancouver in 2005.

With Vancouver, he reached two Stanley Cup Finals (2007 and 2009), winning one championship in 2007 as a member of the "Edmonton Oilers". Scherban also won three division titles while playing for both teams and was awarded team captaincy midway through his time with Vancouver in 2010–11.

After leaving Vancouver following their defeat to Chicago in Game 7 of the 2013 Stanley Cup Final, Scherban signed a two-year contract worth $5 million with Montreal Canadiens on July 1, 2013 but only played nine games for them over that period due to injury.

After terminating this deal early he retired from professional hockey on April 27th 2014 having registered 334 points (153 goals & 209 assists) over 814 career regular season games.

16. Scott McKay

Scott McKay is a Canadian actor and comedian who has appeared in television series such as "Trailer Park Boys" and "Corner Gas". He also starred in the film "The Beaver", which was released in 2011.

McKay has been married to actress Lori McCreary since 2003. The couple have two children together. In 2012, McKay began hosting his own talk show, "Scott McKay Live.", which aired on Comedy Central until 2015.

Since then he has starred in several stand-up specials for Netflix including "Better Things" (2017) and "No Good Nicknames" (2018). 

Aside from acting and comedy, Scott McKay is also a musician; he played bass guitar in the punk band Daren Smith & The Sons of Disaster from 1995 to 2000 before embarking on a successful solo career as an artist under the name Scandalous McQueen .

In 2018, he won a Gemini Award for Best Male Stand-Up Special – Series or Television Program for his special No Good Nicknames.

17. Matthew Tkachuk

Matthew Tkachuk was born on December 11, 1997, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is a Canadian ice hockey player who currently plays for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Tkachuk was drafted by the Flames with their first-round pick, seventh overall, in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. 

He has also played for the Hamilton Bulldogs and London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) before joining Calgary's AHL team, the Stockton Heat in the 2018-19 season after finishing his junior career with Team Canada at both worlds championships and world juniors tournaments over two years consecutively.

In 2019 he made his NHL debut playing five games for Calgary as a 19-year-old rookie scoring three goals including an overtime game-winner. 

Vancouver Canucks on November 22nd to help clinch a playoff berth for Calgary - becoming just the third player ever underage to play 10+ NHL games making him one of only four players to do so before turning 21 during playoffs age 20 or younger the others being Wayne Gretzky & Sidney Crosby.

Matthew Tkachuk was drafted sixth overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2016 NHL Draft. He has spent most of his career with the Florida Panthers, but he has also played for the Calgary Flames and Boston Bruins. 

Tkachuk is a right-wing who shoots left, and he has been described as an exciting player to watch due to his speed, skill set, and goal-scoring ability. As of early 2019, Matthew Tkachuk ranks fifth in all-time scoring among Canadian players in the NHL.

18. Dennis Ververgaert

Dennis Ververgaert was born in 1953 in Grimsby, Ontario. He is a right wing player and played for the Montreal Canadiens from 1974 to 1984. He then played for the Calgary Flames and Philadelphia Flyers before retiring in 1988.

Ververgaert has represented Canada at both the World Championships (1981, 1983) and Olympic Games (1976). In 1993 he was named an Officer of the Order of Canada, which is one of Canada's highest civilian honors. 

Dennis currently works as a hockey commentator on French-language television broadcasts in Quebec City and Toronto, Ontario, where he lives with his wife Kathy and their two children Kelly and Kiefer Ververgarret has been married to Kathy since 1985. 

They have two children together Kelly (born 1985)and Kiefer(born 1989).

Dennis Vergaraet appeared as himself on an episode of "The Simpsons" entitled "Bart vs The Space Mutants". 

In this episode Bart invents a video game that features characters from various cartoon series including Homer Simpson from "TheSimpsons". One character who appears is Dennis Vergaraett playing alongside Frank Shipperd wearing #25 for Montreal Habs.

19. Andreas Athanasiou

Andreas Athanasiou is a skilled center who has proven himself in the AHL and NHL. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in 2012, but never played for them due to contract disputes.

The Griffins signed him to an entry-level contract in 2016 and he made his debut with them that year. He had 41 points (15 goals, 26 assists) in 73 games this season before being traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs on February 8th, 2017.

Andreas Athanasiou is known for his speed and playmaking ability, which have drawn comparisons to Anze Kopitar of the LA Kings among others. 

Andreas Athanasiou is a left-handed shooter who was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in 2012. He has played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Edmonton Oilers, and Los Angeles Kings since then.

In 2014–15, he had 33 points (13 goals and 20 assists) in 47 games with Detroit and helped them make it to the playoffs. Andreas Athanasiou made his NHL debut in 2016–17 with the Edmonton Oilers but they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. 

On July 1st, 2017, he signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs as a free agent after spending eight seasons with Detroit .

Andreas Athanasiou finished third on Toronto’s scoring list behind Auston Matthews and John Tavares last season with 83 points (37 goals and 46 assists). He is expected to be one of Toronto’s top players this year as they try to return to Stanley Cup contention.

Dino Ciccarelli was a highly skilled player who enjoyed considerable success in the NHL. He played his entire career with the Minnesota North Stars, winning two Stanley Cups and earning numerous honors along the way.

After retiring from playing hockey, Ciccarelli served as an executive with the team that he helped win multiple championships. 

In 2010, he became one of only six players to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Dino Ciccarelli is currently serving as President of Hockey Operations for HC Sochi in Russia's KHL league.

Dino Ciccarelli was a prolific scorer in the NHL for over 20 years, playing for six different teams. He is best known for his time with the Washington Capitals and Detroit Red Wings. 

Dino played an important role on both of those teams, scoring nearly 500 goals and 1,000 points combined. After retiring from hockey in 1999, he started a successful career as a broadcaster with TSN.

Brandon Prust is a left wing who has played for the Montreal Canadiens and Vancouver Canucks. He was drafted by the Canadiens in the 2nd round, 50th overall, in 2002.

Brandon Prust has scored over 100 points three times – most recently with 116 points in 2013-14 with the Canucks. In addition to his on-ice achievements, Brandon Prust also works as an ambassador for several charities including Kids Help Phone and Make A Wish Canada.

Brandon Prust married actress Emily VanCamp in May 2017 after dating since 2012 He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 70th overall pick of the 2004 NHL Draft. 

He played for five different teams during his playing career, including the Phoenix Coyotes, New York Rangers, Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks and Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers.

Prust retired from professional hockey after playing with the Vancouver Canucks in 2017-2018 season.

Danny Bois is a right wing who played for the Vienna Capitals of the Austrian Hockey League in 2016-17. He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 3rd round, 85th overall, of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

He has also played for HC Davos and EC VSV of Switzerland's National League A, as well as Jokerit Helsinki and KHL Medveščak Zagreb of Finland's SM-liiga. 

Bois has represented Canada at both junior and international levels, winning a bronze medal with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships in 2003 and a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

In 2013, he signed an eight-year contract extension with Ottawa worth $28 million that would have kept him with the Senators through 2020-21 had he not been traded to Toronto on March 2nd 2017 Danny Bois was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL Draft 97th overall in 2001. 

He played for EC Red Bull Salzburg, Dornbirner EC, EHC München, Sheffield Steelers and Vienna Capitals before retiring at the end of 2016-17 season.

Danny Bois is a right winger who scored 133 goals and added 143 assists during his playing career. His most memorable moment came when he helped Austria win a silver medal at the 2006 World Championship held in Sweden while also appearing on Austria's 2004 Olympic team that finished fourth after losing to Canada in overtime of the final game.

Alex Formenton is a young hockey player who was born in 1999 and is currently playing for the Belleville Senators. Alex has played junior ice hockey with the Ottawa 67's, London Knights, and Toronto Marlies of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

In 2018-19, he posted 42 points (14 goals and 28 assists) in 54 games with Belleville. He signed an entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators on July 1st 2019, becoming their third-round pick from the 2017 OHL Draft. Alex Formenton is a left wing who shoots left.

He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in 2017 and has since played for them in the NHL. Alex Formenton made his debut with HC Ambrì-Piotta of the Swiss National League A in 2016–17, scoring 24 points (11 goals and 13 assists) in 39 games. 

In 2017–18, he split time between Ottawa and their AHL affiliate Binghamton Senators, recording 9 points (4 goals and 5 assists) over 27 games with Ottawa before being called up to the NHL later that season.

Landon Sims is a 21-year-old pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was drafted in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Diamondbacks. Sims has been impressive during his rookie season, posting a 3-1 record and 1.63 ERA in 26 innings pitched.

In high school, Sims earned First Team All-American honors as well as being named to numerous other all-state teams and team MVPs. 

After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Vanderbilt University where he continued to pitch well for the Commodores' baseball team before being drafted by Arizona in June of 2016..

The Diamondbacks hope that Landon Sim can continue his success with them this upcoming season Landon Sim is a right-handed pitcher who throws in the mid 90s. Sim attended Northwest Georgia College and was drafted by the Diamondbacks in 2016. 

He made his professional debut with rookie ball affiliate, Hillsboro Hops, in 2017 and has since pitched for several other minor league teams including Triple-A Reno Aces (2018).

Max Jones

Max Jones is a 24-year-old American defenseman who has played for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) since 2016. 

In his rookie season with London, Jones posted 11 points in 63 games and was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the fifth round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

He made his debut for Detroit's AHL affiliate, Grand Rapids Griffins, on November 12th, 2018 against Syracuse Crunch. 

With two goals and four assists in 21 games for Grand Rapids this season, Max currently leads all rookies defencemen in scoring and ranks fourth amongst team defensemen overall Max Jones is a left winger for the Anaheim Ducks and was drafted 24th overall in the 2016 NHL Draft.

Max has been playing professionally since 2017- present, with his most recent season being 2018-19 where he recorded 18 goals and 38 assists for 56 points in 81 games played. His strengths lie in speed and acceleration which make him very difficult to defend against off the rush or when receiving a pass from behind the net. 

Although he's not overly large at 203 pounds (92 kg), Max plays with an edge that can be intimidating for opponents, as well as having good puck-handling skills which allow him to create scoring chances by himself or help set up teammates.

In addition to his natural ability on the ice, Max also works extremely hard off it both during practice and conditioning drills, making sure he stays in top physical condition so that he can continue dominating at the professional level long into future seasons.

26. Reg Thomas

Reg Thomas is a retired professional hockey player and former centre. He played for the Los Angeles Sharks, Michigan Stags, and Erie Otters during his career.

Reg was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1971 NHL Entry Draft but never played with them due to an injury. He eventually made it to Los Angeles where he spent 11 seasons playing before retiring in 1987-88 season at the age of 34 years old.

After retirement, Reg became head coach of both the Surrey Eagles junior hockey team as well as London Knights minor league affiliate from 1988 until 2001 when he decided to step down from coaching altogether. 

After 41 years behind the bench including 3 Stanley Cup championships with Detroit Red Wings in 2002, 2008 and 2009 respectively as an assistant coach under Mike Babcock/Stanley Cup winning.

Michael Del Zotto is a defenceman for the Philadelphia Flyers. He was drafted by the Flyers in the second round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He played four seasons with the New York Rangers before arriving in Philadelphia as a free agent in 2014.

In his first season with the Flyers, he helped them make it to their first Stanley Cup Final appearance since 1974. In 2016-17, he signed a two-year contract extension with Philadelphia and continued to play an important role on defense for them during that season as well as into 2017-18.

29. Greg Smyth

Greg Smyth was a defender who played for Canada at the international level. He began his career with hometown club Oakville Blue Devils in 1984, and went on to play for several other teams over the years including Toronto Wolfpack, Hull Kingston Rovers and London Broncos.

In 2006, he joined St John's Gold & Black as captain of their defense and helped lead them to promotion to Super League in 2008 before retiring after the 2010 season. Greg Smyth is survived by his wife Cindy and two children Liam and Sienna. 

His death was announced on February 16, 2018 after suffering from an illness for some time prior to his passing aged 51 Greg Smyth was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1984 NHL Draft.

He played for them from 1986 to 2000. Greg Smyth won a Stanley Cup with the Flyers in 1997. After retiring as a player, he became an assistant coach with his old team, the Flyers, before leaving to become head coach of their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. 

In 2017-2018 he served as interim head coach of Team Canada at IIHF World Championship and led them to gold medal game against Sweden which they lost 2-1 after trailing 1-0 most of game On July 9th 2018 it was announced that Greg Smyth had been named Head Coach of the Calgary Flames effective immediately.

30. Scott Harrington

Scott Harrington is a 29-year old defender who plays for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. He was born in Kingston, Ontario and raised there before moving to British Columbia at age 10.

Harrington played youth football with local clubs before signing with USL First Division side Toronto FC II in 2011. After impressing during his time with TFC II, he signed for MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps FC in January of 2012.

Harrington has made over 100 appearances for the 'Caps since joining them, including playing all 4 matches of Canada's 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign as well as appearing at both UEFA Euro 2016 and Copa America Centenario this year.

Frank Nigro is a retired professional ice hockey player. He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Philadelphia Flyers, and Hartford Whalers in his career.

Frank won the Stanley Cup with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1985-86 season. After his playing days were over, he became a head coach for several teams including AHL's Adirondack Phantoms and ECHL's Wheeling Nailers before retiring from coaching in 2016-17 season.

In 2006, he was named an NHL Ambassador by the League to help promote social responsibility among players and staff members of all 30 clubs across North America Nigro was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1979 and played for them until 1992. He helped Italy to victory at the World Championships in 1990, 1991, and 1993.

After his playing career ended, Nigro became a coach with the Italian national team from 1995-2002. In 2003 he took over as head coach of HC Fribourg-Gottéron of the Swiss National League A where he is still coaching today (2018).

32. Jim Hamilton

Hamilton started his NHL career with the St. Louis Blues in 1977, and played there until 1984. He then went to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he won a Stanley Cup in 1987.

Hamilton spent most of his time with the Detroit Red Wings after that, playing there from 1990 to 2006. In 2007-2008 season, he returned to Toronto as a player/coach for their AHL affiliate, the TORonto Marlies; however, due to health reasons he retired at the end of that season.

Hamilton is currently an analyst on Hockey Night in Canada., and also does occasional commentary work for CBC Television during playoff games. He was inducted into the Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003.

And has been involved with charity work throughout his career including working closely with children's hospitals across Canada through The Jim Hamilton Foundation since its inception in 2002.

When asked about what motivates him when it comes to hockey: "I think it would be disingenuous if I said money or fame doesn't motivate me," says Hamilton who estimates he's given away $10 million over 12 years worth of foundation work.

It all goes back (to) my late mother who always told me 'if you want something done ask someone else to do it because you'll just get bogged down.' 

So I've tried not be too big-headed." There have been times where friends or family members have passed away and hockey has taken a bit of a back seat," admits Hamilton whose only child Jaden plays junior A hockey.

33. Ron Zanussi

Ron Zanussi was born on August 31, 1956 in Toronto, Ontario. He is 5'11" and 180 pounds and played right wing for the Maple Leafs from 1978-1987. His shot was right-handed and he scored 291 goals and 383 assists for 621 points in 806 games played during his NHL career.

In 1988, Zanussi joined the Hartford Whalers of the American Hockey League (AHL) where he would play until 1992 when he retired as a player due to injury. 

After his playing days were over, Zanussi became an assistant coach with the New Jersey Devils from 2000-2002 before joining head coach Claude Lemieux's staff. 

With Vancouver Canucks in 2003 as an assistant coach under Pat Quinn before being fired after one season following the 2004 Stanley Cup run by Vancouver which resulted in him becoming a free agent once again until rejoining Quinn's staff.

Tampa Bay Lightning prior to their trip to Sochi Olympics this year where they lost 2-1 against Sweden resulting him not returning back home afterwards but staying around Russia coaching other teams instead according to reports.

34. Paul Nicholson

Nicholson was a professional wrestler and actor. Nicholson is best known for his work in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as Brock Lesnar's long-time manager, Paul Heyman.

Nicholson also had roles in films such as "The Usual Suspects", "Road to Perdition" and "Fantastic Four". Nicholson died at the age of 56 after a long battle with cancer. Paul Nicholson was drafted in the NHL by the Washington Capitals in 1974.

He played for the Capitals until 1978, and then spent time with the WHA's Michigan Stags before retiring from playing hockey. Nicholson is a member of both the Canadian and U.S., Hockey Hall of Fame as well as an inductee into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame and Michigan State University Athletic Hall of Fame.

After his playing career ended, he became a coach at various levels, most notably serving as head coach of Team USA at the World Championships in 2000 and 2004.

35. Randy Osburn

Osburn was born in Collingwood, Ontario on November 26, 1952. Osburn played left wing for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1972 to 1984. He won two Stanley Cups with them in 1974 and 1976.

Osburn also played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Hartford Whalers, Calgary Flames and Detroit Red Wings during his NHL career. Osburn finished his playing career with 581 goals and 1128 points in 1497 games over 17 seasons.

After retiring as a player, Osburn worked as a hockey commentator for TSN and CBC Television until 2003 when he retired completely due to health concerns related to multiple sclerosis (MS). 

In 2006, Randy was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame alongside fellow Leaf greats Darryl Sittler and Dave Keon; he is also a member of Canada's Sports Hall of Fame and Ontario's Hockey Hall of Fame.

Since retirement from hockey,Osborn has been involved in numerous philanthropic endeavours including being honoured by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations in 2012.

36. Philip McRae

McRae was born in Chesterfield, Missouri and played college hockey at the University of Minnesota. McRae got his start in professional hockey with the St.

Louis Blues before being traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2013-14. In 2015-16, McRae joined the Carolina Hurricanes but was waived a few days later and signed with HC Davos of Switzerland where he had a very successful season.

On July 1, 2017, McRae re-signed with the Carolina Hurricanes on a one-year deal worth $650K per season On March 24th 2018. 

It was announced that Philip would miss 3 months after undergoing surgery for an abdominal hernia Mc Rae is coming off arguably his best NHL season yet as he put up career highs in points (56), assists (35) and goals (13).

He also added 8 penalty minutes to bring his totals to 73 over 82 games played which led him onto some ballots for Team Canada's roster for their World Cup run this year.

When healthy you can expect big things from Phil as he has shown throughout his career that when given an opportunity he can be one of the top players in any league.

37. Joe Paterson

Joe Paterson is a left wing player who was born in Toronto, Ontario and started his career with the Philadelphia Flyers. He played for the University of Vermont before being drafted by the Flyers in 1980.

He joined the New York Islanders in 1983 and later moved to Calgary where he won two Stanley Cups (1988 and 1989). 

He returned to the Islanders in 1992 and retired after playing one season with them. Joe has since been involved as a commentator for NHL games on TV networks such as TSN, CBC, FS1, NBCSN etc, as well as writing articles about hockey for various publications including The Hockey News, Sporting News etc.

In 2010 he was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame along with fellow Canadians Rick Martin and Ian Campbell Joe Paterson was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 87th overall NHL Draft. 

He played for five different teams over his career, including Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings. Joe Paterson is most well-known for being a part of the 1988 Stanley Cup winning team with Detroit Red Wings.

He retired from professional hockey after playing 1992 season with Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League (AHL).

38. Andy Spruce

Andy Spruce was born in London, Ontario on April 17th 1954. He is 5'11" and 174 pounds which makes him left wing on the ice. Andy has played for a number of teams throughout his career including the New York Islanders, Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Flyers and Vancouver Canucks.

He has scored over 200 goals during his time in the NHL and won the Stanley Cup with Vancouver in 1994-95 season. After hanging up his skates he became an assistant coach with the Canadian national team before taking over as head coach at Northeastern University in 2002. 

Where he currently remains in charge Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Andy Spruce played his entire professional career with the Vancouver Canucks.

He was a key player on the team during its time as a Stanley Cup contender and helped them win the Cup in 1994. After playing for four teams in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), Spruce made his NHL debut with Vancouver in 1974-75. 

The following season, he scored his first NHL goal and helped lead the Canucks to their first playoff appearance since 1962. In 1978-79, Spruce led all rookies with 41 points and won election to Canada's National Team for that year's World Championships hockey tournament.

He went on to play at three more international tournaments over the next two years before being traded to Colorado midway through 1980-81 season. 

In 1981-82, Spruce had another productive season offensively for Colorado scoring 31 goals while helping them reach the playoffs for only second time of his career; however they were eliminated by eventual champions Edmonton Oilers in five games.

In 1982-83, after just one campaign with Phoenix Roadrunners of the WHA where he registered 11 goals and 20 assists including leading scorer award; Andy was traded back east this time joining Boston Bruins who would go on to win their first Stanley Cup that same year.

39. Lou Nistico

Lou Nistico was a left wing player who played in the NHL for over 20 years. He had an illustrious career, which saw him win three Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins and one with the Detroit Red Wings.

Lou passed away on November 27th 2020 at the age of 67 after a long battle with cancer. Lou Nistico was a left-handed shooter who played in the NHL for Toronto Toros, Birmingham Bulls, and Colorado Rockies. 

He was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in 1973 but never played with them before being traded to the Toronto Toros in 1978.

In 1979 he retired from hockey after playing for the Toronto Toros and then returned to his home province of Quebec where he started coaching junior hockey.

40. Logan Mailloux

Logan Mailloux is a 19-year-old Canadian basketball player who was drafted in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets. Logan began playing organized basketball at an early age and quickly developed into one of Canada's best young players.

He has played for numerous junior teams and earned several accolades, including being named to the 2017–18 Junior National Team that competed in Spain. In his draft year, Logan led Windsor to their first OUA Championship since 1981, averaging 21 points per game en route to being named Tournament MVP.

After making his debut with the Nets in December 2016, he spent most of 2017 on their G League team before returning to Brooklyn in February 2018 where he averaged 5 points and 2 rebounds per game over 23 appearances (16 starts).

41. Brett Brochu

Brett Brochu was born on September 9, 2002 in Windsor, Ontario. He is a 6'0" tall basketball player who played for the University of Utah and later joined the Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League.

In early 2018 he was charged with sexual assault after an incident at a party where he allegedly forced himself upon another person without their consent. 

Brett has since been released from custody pending trial and as of now remains under investigation by police Brochu is a goaltender for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.

He has been playing in the OHL since he was 16 years old and has yet to be drafted by an NHL team. Brochu's size (176 pounds) may be one reason why he hasn't been picked up by an NHL club yet, but his skills as a goalie are still impressive. 

In 68 games played this season, Brochu had a save percentage of .915 which is good for fourth in the league among goaltenders with at least 50 saves made.

Brett Brochu is also known for being able to make big stops when it matters most - evidenced by his performance in the playoffs where he led his Knights to their first ever playoff berth despite having only 10 starts under his belt coming into that series against Oshawa.

It will be interesting to see if Brett Brochu continues to develop at such a high level and whether or not he can finally secure himself an NHL contract after being undrafted all these years.

42. Bryce Montgomery

Bryce Montgomery is a 20-year old singer and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. Bryce released his first album in 2016 called "The Color of the Sky." His second album, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" was released in early 2018 and has so far received great reviews from music critics.

Bryce's third album is set to be released later this year and will feature collaborations with some of the biggest names in country music including Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band, Maren Morris and more. Bryce has also appeared on several television shows including The Voice (U.S.). 

The X Factor UK (UK), Rising Star Germany (Germany) as well as hosting his own show on CMT called "Bryce." In 2019 he'll be playing at numerous festivals around the world such as Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (US), Glastonbury Festival (UK), Rock en Seine France and many others.

Alec Regula is a young and talented defender who has been playing for the Michigan Wolverines since his freshman year. He was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2016, after starting all 12 games at defensive end and recording 39 tackles, 6 sacks and 2 interceptions.

As a sophomore, Alec again started all twelve games for the Wolverines defense and led them with 66 tackles (26 solo), 10 sacks, 1 interception returned for a touchdown, 3 fumble recoveries and 2 forced fumbles. 

In 2018 he was once again one of the key defenders on Michigan's team as they made it to their fourth consecutive College Football Playoff appearance but were eventually knocked out by Alabama in the semifinal round.

Alec also played rugby during high school which helped him develop his strength and stamina which he put to good use when playing football professionally; he reportedly bench presses more than 500 pounds.

Danny Syvret

Danny Syvret is a Canadian professional footballer who plays as a defender for English club Brighton and Hove Albion. He started playing football at the age of six, joining local side Millgrove Eagles before moving to Europe to play for FC Metz in France and Anderlecht in Belgium.

Syvret made his debut for Toronto FC in 2006 and went on to make over 100 appearances for the MLS club, winning two MLS Cups (2007, 2016) and being selected to represent Canada at various international tournaments including the 2010 FIFA World Cup and 2014 FIFA World Cup. 

In January 2017, he moved south of the border to join Brighton & Hove Albion on a three-and-a-half year contract worth £10 million ($13 million).

Mermis played college football at the University of Akron. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Mermis has also been a member of the Falcons and Browns, both in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
