Bryan Acosta is a 29-year-old Honduran midfielder who currently plays for the Colorado Rapids. Acosta represented his country at youth level, playing in the U20 and U23 squads.

He made his senior international debut in 2015 and has since gone on to make six appearances for Honduras. In 2017, he was named player of the year by both MLSsoccernewsnet and Pro Soccer Talk after helping lead Colorado to their second consecutive playoff appearance.

Acosta holds US citizenship through his parents, making him eligible to play for either America or Honduras internationally should he choose to do so later in life.

Emilio Izaguirre is a defender who has played for Motagua in Honduras. He made his international debut for Honduras in 2003 and went on to play 143 times for the team, scoring four goals.

In 2010 he moved to Celtic, where he spent two seasons before returning to Motagua in 2012. Emilio Izaguirre was part of the Honduran squad that competed at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, playing all three of their matches as they reached the semi-finals where they were beaten by Brazil.

Emilio Izaguirre signed with Watford FC in July 2016 but left after one season having made only six appearances for the club. He currently plays for Club Deportivo Olimpia.

David Suazo is a Honduran international striker who has played for clubs such as Barcelona, Liverpool and Newcastle United. He started his career at Marathón in Honduras before moving to Europe to play for Barcelona, Liverpool and Newcastle United.

In 2013 he signed with Deportivo La Coruña in Spain but was released after one season. Since then he has had spells with Qatari club Al-Arabi SC and Greek side PAOK Salonika, where he scored 25 goals in 56 appearances between them. 

David Suazo represented Honduras at the 2006 World Cup and the 2010 World Cup, helping them reach the quarter-finals of both tournaments respectively David Suazo is a Honduran international footballer who plays for Italian club Internazionale.

David Suazo was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras on December 25th, 1988. David Suazo started his career with hometown club Olimpia before joining Cagliari in 2007. 

In 2011, he joined Portuguese side Benfica on loan and made an impact scoring 12 goals in all competitions during the season including five in Liga Europa which helped them win the trophy. 

After returning to Cagliari from Portugal, David then had a spell at Genoa where he scored 16 goals over two seasons combined making him one of Serie A's top scorers.

On July 1st, 2012 it was announced that David had signed for Catania after leaving Inter Milan following their relegation from Serie A the previous year - however just six months later he left again this time joining Brescia as manager.

Andy Najar is a Honduran international footballer who currently plays for D.C. United in the United States. Najar was born in Choluteca in 1993 and began his career with hometown club CD Olimpia.

He moved to D.C. United in 2015 and has become a regular starter in the team's defence. Najar has also been a regular for the Honduras national team and was part of the team that won the 2017 Copa America.

Bernárdez came up through the youth ranks at Honduran side Vida before making his senior debut with the club in 2003. Bernárdez spent six seasons with San Jose Earthquakes, making over 100 appearances and helping the club win the US Open Cup in 2014.

Maynor Figueroa is a central defender who has played for Wigan Athletic, Hull City, and FC Dallas in his career. Figueroa was born in Honduras and started his career in the Honduran league with Victoria.

Anthony Lozano is a forward for Spanish club Cádiz and was part of the Honduran national team at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Lozano began his career with Honduran club Platense before moving to Spanish side Valencia B in 2011.

Saúl Martínez was born in Colón, Honduras in 1976. He started playing football at a young age, and played for Melgar in his home country before moving to the United States to play for the Long Island Rough Riders in 1997.
