João Pedro is an attacking midfielder for Fenerbahçe. João Pedro made his debut with Atlético Mineiro in 2006 at the age of 18. He spent four years with Atlético Mineiro before joining Spanish side Peñarol in 2012.

João Pedro helped Peñarol win the Uruguayan Primera División title that year and was also named MVP of the league campaign. In January 2014, he transferred to Turkish club Beşiktaş on a five-and-a-half-year contract worth €12 million (£10 million).

On 28 December 2017, it was announced that João Pedro had signed for Premier League side Fulham. He made his Fulham debut on 12 January 2018 in a 2–1 home victory over Cardiff City.

João Pedro is a Brazilian attacking midfielder who has played for Atlético Mineiro, Palermo, Santos, Estoril and Cagliari in his senior career.

He made his international debut for Brazil in 2009 and went on to play one more time for the national side in 2022. João Pedro has been very successful with clubs domestically; he's won several trophies with Santos and Cagliari including two Serie A titles apiece. 

The 34-year-old is likely to leave Italian club Fenerbahçe at the end of the season having failed to make an impression during his time there so far.

Alessandro Deiola is a midfielder who currently plays for Cagliari. He made his Serie A debut in 2016 and has since become a key player for the club. 

Alessandro deiola was born on 1 August 1995 in San Gavino Monreale, Italy and is just 27 years old now.

As an attacking midfielder, he can play either centrally or off the wing, making him very versatile. In total, Alessandro deiola has made 66 appearances for Cagliari across all competitions - scoring six goals along the way too. 

With his contract set to expire at the end of 2020, it's safe to say that Alessandro Deiola will be staying with Cagliari next season - unless something unexpected happens.

Alessandro Deiola is a versatile defender who has played for numerous teams in his youth career. After playing for Cagliari, he went on loan to Tuttocuoio and then Spezia before joining Parma permanently this season. 

Alessandro Deiola is known as a good tackler and passer of the ball, which makes him an ideal player at centre back or in midfield. He already has 10 appearances and one goal under his belt with Parma this season.

The 22-year-old will hope to continue his good form with Parma next year, after being linked with moves away from Italy in the summer transfer window.

Daniele Conti is a midfielder who has played for many clubs over the course of his career. He started out playing for hometown club Nettuno before moving on to play for various other Italian sides, such as Lazio and Fiorentina.

In 2006, he moved to England to play with Tottenham Hotspur where he made 28 appearances in all competitions over two seasons. In 2007, Conti signed with Serie A side Roma where he would make 119 appearances and win three league titles (2008-2010).

On 25 July 2014 it was announced that Daniele Conti had joined Premier League side Southampton on a two-year contract. 

At the end of his second season at Southampton, Conti announced his retirement from professional football due to injury. After retiring from professional football, Conti became an assistant coach at AS Roma's under-21 team.

Simone Aresti is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Cagliari in Serie A. Simone has been playing football since he was young and started his career with hometown club Carbonia.

He made his debut for the Italy national team in 2009 and played at Euro 2012 where they reached the semi-finals. In 2013, Simone signed a new contract with Cagliari that would keep him at the club until 2018.

Simone is an experienced player having played over 200 games in all competitions for Cagliari, including 30 appearances in European competition (including 10 Europa League matches). 

He is known as one of the best goalkeepers in Italian football and has earned several accolades throughout his career, including being named PFA Goalkeeper of the Year twice (in 2011 and 2013).

Simone also captained Italy to victory at UEFA EURO 2016, making him only the second goalkeeper to win both major international trophies after Dino Zoff did so with Italy during Euro 1984 & 1986 respectively.

David Suazo is a Honduran international striker who has played for clubs such as Barcelona, Liverpool and Newcastle United. He started his career at Marathón in Honduras before moving to Europe to play for Barcelona, Liverpool and Newcastle United.

In 2013 he signed with Deportivo La Coruña in Spain but was released after one season. Since then he has had spells with Qatari club Al-Arabi SC and Greek side PAOK Salonika, where he scored 25 goals in 56 appearances between them. 

David Suazo represented Honduras at the 2006 World Cup and the 2010 World Cup, helping them reach the quarter-finals of both tournaments respectively David Suazo is a Honduran international footballer who plays for Italian club Internazionale.

David Suazo was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras on December 25th, 1988. David Suazo started his career with hometown club Olimpia before joining Cagliari in 2007. 

In 2011, he joined Portuguese side Benfica on loan and made an impact scoring 12 goals in all competitions during the season including five in Liga Europa which helped them win the trophy. 

After returning to Cagliari from Portugal, David then had a spell at Genoa where he scored 16 goals over two seasons combined making him one of Serie A's top scorers.

On July 1st, 2012 it was announced that David had signed for Catania after leaving Inter Milan following their relegation from Serie A the previous year - however just six months later he left again this time joining Brescia as manager.

Francesco Pisano is a 36-year-old Italian footballer who plays as a right back for Serie A club Cagliari. Francesco Pisano started his career with hometown club Cagliari, making his senior debut in 2006 before going on to make over 100 appearances for the Sardinians.

In 2009, Francesco Pisano moved to Hellas Verona where he spent two seasons before returning to Cagliari in 2011. Since joining Cagliari in 2011, Francesco Pisano has made over 130 appearances and helped the Sardinians win promotion from Serie B during the 2013–14 season.

After helping Cagliari reach the 2015 Coppa Italia final, Francesco Pisano extended his contract with the Sardinians until 2020 in March of that year Francesco Pisano is a talented Italian footballer who plays for Avellino. He has been with the club since 2004 and has made over 230 appearances, scoring 13 goals.

Francesco Pisano has also represented Italy at U-19 level and U-21 level, playing in 12 games between them. With Avellino, he currently leads the team in terms of apps (133) and goals (5). 

The 34 year old midfielder is considered one of the best midfielders in Serie A – if not Europe - so it will be interesting to see what his future holds.

Agostini started his career with Fiorentina, playing for them from 1996 to 2002. He was an important part of the team during that time and won a Serie A title with Fiorentina in 1998.

After leaving Fiorentina, Agostini had short spells at Spanish clubs Valencia and Atlético Madrid before returning to Italy with Milan in 2006. 

With Milan he helped win another Serie A title in 2007 and played in UEFA Champions League finals both as a player (2005) and as a coach (2012).

In January 2013, Agostini retired from professional football after 14 years playing at the top level in Italy and Spain, including two spells at Milan where he made over 350 appearances scoring 19 goals. 

Alessandro is now focusing on coaching young players and working with charity organisations around the world promoting health awareness among children especially cancer patients through sport programs.

Since retiring from professional football, Alessandro has also worked as a TV pundit for several Italian channels analysing matches alongside former teammates such as Paolo Maldini or Franco Baresi amongst others representing AC Mailand, AS Roma, Juventus FC etc. 

 Alessandro Agostini is still one of the most popular left backs ever to play professionally; despite being 39 years old when announcing his retirement this January after spending nearly 15 seasons all over Europe captaining some great sides such as Valencia CF [Spaniards].

Atlético Madrid [Spanish] then subsequently joining current club AC Milan who were reigning champions having just lifted their 10th European Cup Winners’ Cup trophy less than 12 months prior - making him arguably one of the most decorated defenders of all-time.

Antonio Barreca is a left-back who currently plays for Cagliari. He started his career with Torino in Serie A, and made over 100 appearances for the club during four seasons.

In 2018, he joined Cagliari on a free transfer after leaving Torino in search of new opportunities. Antonio is an Italy international and has represented his country at youth level as well as senior level.

He is known for being very versatile and can operate across the backline, making him a valuable asset to any team he joins in future years Antonio Barreca is a versatile midfielder who has played for various clubs in Italy.

He first broke into the Italian national team at age 18 and has gone on to make over 100 appearances, scoring 13 goals. Antonio Barreca joined Newcastle United on a loan deal in 2019 and made his debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers later that month.

Diego López is a Uruguayan defender who played for River Plate and Racing Santander in his homeland before moving to Serie A club Cagliari. He made his international debut in 1994, and has since been capped 39 times by Uruguay.

After leaving Cagliari at the end of the 2012–13 season, Diego Lopez took up an assistant managerial role with the Sardinian outfit until he left them earlier this year. 

At 1.80 metres (5 feet 11 inches) tall, Diego Lopez is relatively small for a defender but he makes up for it with speed and determination on the pitch Diego López is a Uruguayan footballer who has spent his entire professional career with Cagliari.

Diego Lopez was born in the city of Rivera in the north-western department of Uruguay on December 17, 1970. At just 16 years old, Diego Lopez made his first team debut for River Plate and went on to make over 200 appearances for the club before joining Cagliari in 1998 as part of an exchange deal involving Giuseppe Signorini.

After spending two seasons at Cagliari, where he helped them win promotion to Serie A in 2000/01, Diego joined Sampdoria where he played until 2004 when he moved back home to join Peñarol.

In 2006 Diego signed for Bologna and won both the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana during his three seasons at San Siro before moving onto Palermo in 2009 where he enjoyed another successful spell winning league titles in each of his four seasons there.

On July 7th 2017 it was announced that Diego had agreed terms with Chilean side Universidad de Chile ahead of their 2020 season which will be his fifth country since making himself available internationally after representing Uruguay at Copa America 1995 & 1999.

10. Gigi Riva

Gigi Riva was born in 1944 and played for Legnano, Leggiuno and then later on with Italy. Gigi is best known for his goalscoring ability, which he displayed during his playing days with Legnano and then later on with the national team.

Gigi retired from professional football in 1988 but continued to work as a manager until 2003. Since 2003, Gigi has been working as a commentator for Italian broadcasters RAI and Mediaset Premium. In 2005, Gigi received an honorary doctorate from the University of Bologna.

On 10 December 2013, it was announced that Gigi had been diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) and would be unable to continue working. Gigi Riva currently resides in Rome Gigi Riva was born in Cagliari, Sardinia on December 5, 1947.

He played for his local club before joining Juventus in 1969. After a successful spell at the Turin club, he moved to AC Milan where he spent 11 seasons and won five Serie A titles as well as the European Cup Winners' Cup twice (1972 and 1973). 

In 1978, Gigi joined Spanish side Barcelona where he enjoyed two more successful years with La Liga champions Real Madrid following later on in 1983 when he signed for Roma alongside Bruno Giordano who also made the switch from Juventus that same year. 

His international career began with Italy's first ever World Cup victory in 1934 and continued until 1974 including UEFA Euro 1968 which they won with him scoring the decisive goal against.

Soviet Union during extra-time of the semi-final stage; this is still considered one of Italy's greatest sporting moments to date.

Following his playing days, Gigi became head coach of Italian sides Udinese (1988), Parma(1990–1991) and Lazio (2003). In 1988, he took over as technical director of AS Rom but left after 10 months due to personal reasons.

In 2013 Gigi was appointed head coach of Lega Pro 2 side Novara Calcio however resigned less than 3 months into his role due to health concerns.

Marco Mancosu is a 34-year-old Italian midfielder currently playing for Cagliari. Marco Mancosu started his career with Siracusa before moving to Serie A side, Cagliari in 2007.

He has made over 130 appearances for the Sardinians and scored 10 goals during his time at the club. Marco Mancosu was named in Italy's squad for the 2018 World Cup but did not make an appearance as they were eliminated in the group stages.

Marco Mancosu is known for being an able passer of the ball and he often plays behind centre forwards or as part of a midfield triumvirate along with teammates Domenico Berardi and Andrea Barzagli. Marco Mancosu is a versatile midfielder who has played for several clubs in Italy.

Marco Mancosu was born on September 14th, 1989 in Lucca, Tuscany. Marco Mancosu started his career at hometown club Lucchese before moving to Serie B side Siracusa and then Cagliari of the Italian top flight. 

Marco Mancosu had an impressive season with Lecce in 2016–17, scoring 16 goals from midfield while helping them achieve promotion back to Serie A after seven years away.

Marco Mancosu's contract with Cagliari expires at the end of the 2021-22 season and he has yet to announce his intentions regarding his future club or international career.

Enrico Albertosi is a Serie A goalkeeper who played for Fiorentina from 1958 to 1968. He was born in Pontremoli, Italy on 2 November 1939 and started his career with Spezia Calcio in 1957.

Albertosi made 185 appearances for Fiorentina during his time there, winning two Scudetti (1967–1968) and one Coppa Italia (1970). He retired from playing football in 1978 after he lost the starting goalkeeping position at Fiorentina to Gianluca Pagliuca.

In 2009, he was awarded an honorary citizenship by Cagliari as part of their Centenary celebrations; he has since been the club's Honorary President. 

On 14 May 2013, aged 83 years old, Enrico Albertosi announced his retirement from all football-related activities due to persistent health problems but continues serving as honorary president of Cagliari FBC pending the election of a new board member later that year.

Senior career includes spells at Fiorentina between 1958 and 1968 and then Atalanta between 1969 and 1978.

Mauro Esposito began his career with Pescara in Serie A. He was a regular starter for the club during his time there, and helped them reach the UEFA Cup final in 1996.

His performances at Pescara earned him a move to Juventus where he enjoyed more success, winning several honours including two Serie A titles and the Italian Cup twice.

In 2006, Esposito moved back to Italy with Roma where he played until his retirement in 2013. He is now assistant manager of Genoa and has represented Italy at international level on multiple occasions.

Most notably being part of their squad that reached the 2010 World Cup Final as well as Euro 2012 qualifying campaign which they won convincingly over Sweden.

Mauro Esposito is one of Juve's all-time greats having scored some stunning goals both for club and country over the course of his lengthy career.

Alberto Marchetti was born in Montevarchi, Italy on December 16th 1954. He started his career with Juventus in 1974 and played for the club until 1984. After leaving Juventus, he spent time playing for Torino and Fiorentina before retiring from professional football in 1990.

In 2006, Alberto Marchetti was inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame after being recognised as one of the greatest midfielders of all time. 

He currently works as a pundit for Sky Sport Italia and is also involved with charity work involving young people throughout Italy Alberto Marchetti was a manager who spent most of his career at Serie A club Novara.

He led the team to two consecutive promotions, first in 1993 and then again in 1994. After leaving Novara in 1999, he managed clubs such as Cagliari and Udinese before retiring from coaching altogether in 2003.

Andrea Cossu is a midfielder who played for Serie A club Ogliari and the Italy national team. Andrea started his career at hometown club Johannes Cagliari, before he moved to Italian giants AC Milan in 1996.

He spent two seasons with Milan, making 36 league appearances and scoring one goal. After leaving Milan, Andrea spent time on loan at Chievo Verona and Atalanta Bergamo before joining Lazio Rome in 2001 where he would remain until 2006.

Nahitan Nández is a Uruguayan midfielder who currently plays for Serie A club Cagliari. He was born in Punta del Este on December 28th, 1995 and started playing football at the youth level with local side Atlético Uruguayo.

In 2017, Nahitan moved to Italian club Genoa but only made six appearances before being loaned out to fellow Serie A side Cagliari in January 2018.

Franco Carboni is a left-back and midfielder for Cagliari on loan from Inter Milan. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and started playing football at the age of six with local club Atlético Mitre.

After being scouted by top clubs such as Barcelona and Manchester United, he joined Italian side Internazionale in 2013 where he made his professional debut aged 17 months later against Lazio in Serie A.

He has since played over 100 league games for Inter, scoring five goals,[2] before joining Cagliari on loan earlier this year.

Marko Rog was born on July 19th, 1995 in Varaždin, Croatia. He is a midfielder and currently plays for Cagliari. Marko Rog started his youth career at Nedeljanec before moving to Varaždin in 2006 where he made over 100 appearances during his time there.

Lapadula is a Italy international striker who played for Juventus and Parma before joining Cagliari in 2012. Lapadula was born in Turin, Italy in 1990 and started his career with Serie A club Juve Stabia before moving to co-owned side Collegno Paradiso.

Fabio Pisacane is a defender who has played for Genoa and currently plays for Cagliari as a technical collaborator. Fabio Pisacane was born in Naples, Italy on 28 January 1986.

Sergio Gori was a midfielder and centre-forward who played for several teams in his career, most notably Cagliari. He won two championships with the club, in 1980 and 1984.

He also played for Italy national team, earning 43 caps and scoring 14 goals between 1967 and 1981. After retiring from playing he worked as a football coach at various clubs around Italy.

Sergio Gori passed away on 2 January 2018 at the age of 76 after complications following surgery Sergio Gori was a prolific goalscorer during his playing days and is one of the all-time greats of Italian football.

Falco is a talented attacking midfielder who has played for several teams in Italy. Falco joined Cagliari on loan from Red Star Belgrade this season and he's already made an impact, scoring three goals in nine appearances.

Ricciotti Greatti was born on October 13th 1939 in Naples, Italy. He started his career with hometown club Napoli before moving to Serie A side Fiorentina in 1960.

Ricciotti was highly praised for his performances during his time at Fiorentina and he helped the team win the Italian Cup twice, as well as reaching the UEFA Cup semi-finals in 1968.

After leaving Fiorentina, Ricciotti spent two seasons with Spanish La Liga side Valencia before retiring from professional football in 1972 at the age of 34 years old. Following his retirement from playing professionally, Ricciotti worked as a manager for several clubs across Europe including AS Monaco and AS Roma (both in France).

In 1997 he became president of FIGC (the Italian Football Federation) and held this position until 2002 when he retired once again due to health issues unrelated to footballing commitments. Boris Radunović was born on 26 May 1996 in Belgrade, Serbia. He is a goalkeeper and currently plays for Cagliari. Boris has represented Serbia at U21 level, where he won silverware in 2017.

Nunzio is relatively new to the first team, but he has quickly made an impact at senior level. His physicality and ability to win balls forward are two of his key strengths, which should see him develop into a top-level player in the future.

Nunzio is likely to stay with Cagliari until the end of the season, as they look set to qualify for Europe next year. With plenty of potential still untapped, Nunzio Lella looks like a player destined for big things over the next few years Nunzio Lella is a talented young defender who has been playing for the likes of Bari and Cagliari in Italy's Serie A.

He made his senior debut in 2018, and has since played 93 league games for Olbia on loan. Nunzio is known for his strong defending skills, as well as good passing ability from the back line. 

His versatility could see him play at either centre-back or right-back in the future, which would make him an invaluable member of any team. 

Nunzio is likely to command a high transfer fee when he eventually decides to move on from football; however, with such talent and potential, there’s no doubt that he will be one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe if he continues developing at this rate.

Nicolas Viola is a central midfielder who currently plays for Cagliari. He began his career with Reggina in 2006 before moving to Juventus the following year.

In July 2012, he joined Ternana on a two-year contract. Nicolas Viola made his Italy debut in November 2009 and has since played at UEFA Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Benito Nicolas "Nicolas" Viola was born on October 12th, 1989 in Oppido Mamertina, Sicily, Italy to parents of Italian descent. After starting out as a youth player for Reggina, he moved to Juve where he spent three seasons playing under Antonio Conte before departing for Turin rivals Torino in January 2011.

After only one season with Torino (and being relegated from Serie A), Nicolas transferred back To Juventus during the Summer of 2013 but left again less than 18 months later after failing to make an impression during preseason training.

It wasn't until July 2012 that Nicholas finally signed for newly promoted Tuscan side Ternana - becoming their first ever foreigner signing.

Makoumbou is a versatile midfielder who has played for Monaco and Cagliari. He made his senior debut in the 2016/17 season and has since established himself as one of the stars of Italian football.

Makoumbou is known for his creative play and ability to score goals from midfield, which makes him an important member of both teams he has been with. He is set to join Serie A side Atalanta in the summer transfer window, after impressing during pre-season displays.

Makoumbou will be looking to help Cagliari qualify for Europe next season and continue their impressive run in Italian football Antoine Makoumbou is a Congolese international footballer who plays for Italian Serie A club Cagliari. Antoine Makoumbou started his career with Ajaccio before moving to Mainz 05 II in 2018.

In 2020, he joined Tabor Sežana on loan before joining Maribor the following year. He made his Serie A debut for Cagliari in February 2022 and has since played 16 games for them as of December 2022. 

Antoine Makoumbou also represented Congo at the international level during the 2021–2022 season where he scored 12 goals in 12 appearances including one against Tunisia which helped earn a place at the Africa Cup of Nations later that year where Congo reached the semi-finals but were knocked out by Egypt after extra time.

Antoine Makoubous's ability to score and provide assists makes him an important player for Cagliari, and he will hope to help them challenge for promotion this season.

Elio Capradossi is a centre-back who currently plays for Cagliari. He began his career with Roma, making over 100 appearances in all competitions between 2010 and 2017.

Capradossi was called up to the Uganda national team in November 2018 for their upcoming World Cup qualifying match against Kenya. Elio Capradossi has also represented Italy at youth level, including at the U17 European Championship and the U20 World Cup Elio Capradossi is a talented, young midfielder who was born in 1993.

He has played for several Italian clubs over the course of his career, most notably SPAL and Cagliari. In 2018 he signed with Bari on loan from Spezia, but left after just one season to join another club in Serie A. Capradossi's international career has been relatively limited so far, though he did make two appearances for Italy U20s in 2015 and 2017 respectively.

Overall, Elio Capradossi is an exciting prospect who could develop into a top-class midfield player in the future.

35. Mario Martiradonna

Mario Martiradonna was born on August 28, 1938 in Montebelluna, Italy. Mario played for a number of Italian clubs including Fiorentina and Lazio before retiring from professional football in 1978.

After his retirement from playing, Mario worked as a coach with various teams including Parma and Roma. He also served as the president of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) between 1997 and 2001.

On November 20, 2011, Mario passed away at the age of 76 after a long battle with cancer. Mario Martiradonna, a world-renowned Italian composer and pianist, was born on December 9, 1923 in Naples. After studying at the Naples Conservatory of Music, he began his career as a soloist and chamber musician.

In 1955, he formed the jazz group Nuova Consonanza with bass player Giorgio Gaslini and drummer Aldo Romano. He has since released over 50 recordings including collaborations with such notable artists as Dizzy Gillespie, Bernardo Bertolucci, Luciano Pavarotti and Plácido Domingo amongst others. 

Mario Martiradonna currently resides in Rome where he is professor emeritus of musicology at the University for Music and Performing Arts Berlin (Hochschule für Musik und Theater München).

His compositions have been performed by some of the world's leading musicians including Mstislav Rostropovich, Kiril Petrovitch Kirov Orchestra/Igor Stravinsky Symphony Orchestra Vladimir Ashkenazy/ Orchestre National de France among many others.

Comunardo Niccolai is a retired Italian centre back. He played for clubs such as Juventus, Lazio and Milan during his career. Comunardo Niccolai represented Italy at the 1982 World Cup where they were knocked out in the first round by Spain.

After retiring from playing, Comunardo Niccolai became manager of several lower league teams before taking over as head coach of Hellas Verona in 2009. In June 2014, it was announced that Comunardo Niccolai had been appointed sporting director at Serie A club Fiorentina following the resignation of Davide Ballardini.

On 15 December 2018, it was announced that Comunardo Niccolai had resigned from his position with Fiorentina after just one season in charge Comunardo Niccolai was a prolific Italian striker who played for Cagliari, Torino and Prato. He started his career with the junior side of Torres before moving on to play for Cagliari in Serie A.

He made 218 appearances for the club over six seasons. In 1976, he transferred to Perugia where he spent one season before returning to Cagliari in 1977 – making seven appearances during that time. His final league appearance came in 1978 with Prato, scoring four goals in total during his international career.

Pierluigi Cera was a midfield player who played for several Italian clubs, including Cagliari and Milan. He is most well-known in North America for his time with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Pierluigi Cera has earned many accolades throughout his career, including three Serie A titles (with Juventus in 1984, 1986 and 1987), two Coppa Italia crowns (1985 and 1990) as well as being named European Footballer of the Year twice - once by La Gazzetta dello Sport and again by France Football magazine.

After retiring from playing professionally, Pierluigi Cera took up coaching duties with several teams before joining current club Atalanta BC as sporting director in 2009. 

In addition to his work on the pitch, Pierluigi has also made significant contributions to football management with roles at both club and international level over the years - most notably serving as Italy manager between 2006 and 2007.

Now aged 81 years old, Pierluigi still takes an active interest in football; he was recently appointed honorary president of Verona FC after helping them return to Serie B following their relegation from professional football five years ago.

Aldo Firicano is a defender who played for several teams over the course of his career. Aldo Firicano was born in Trapani, Italy in 1967 and began playing football at an early age.

Aldo Firicano spent most of his career with Cagliari, where he made 191 appearances between 1996 and 2001. After leaving Cagliari, Aldo Firicano moved to Salernitana before retiring from professional football in 2002.

In 2009, Aldo Firicano took over as manager of Sangiovannese after previous manager Davide Ballardini left the club to take up a role with Serie B side Bari FC. Under Aldo's management, Sangiovannese reached the semi-finals of Lega Pro Prima Divisione (the fourth tier) but were ultimately defeated by Novara Calcio 1–0 on aggregate.

As of July 2017, it is not known whether or not Maldini will rejoin AlbinoLeffe or appoint someone else entirely; if he does resign then either Furiazzo or Zaniolotto could be appointed interim coach until the end of season matches are complete.

Zito Luvumbo is a young, talented Angolan footballer who currently plays for Cagliari. He has primarily played as a right winger and shown great potential in this position.

Zito started his career with the youth teams of Sporting de Luanda before moving to Italy in January 2017 to join Cagliari. He made his debut for the club later that month in a Serie A match against Sassuolo, and quickly established himself as one of the team's key players.

In 2018/19, Zito helped Cagliari win promotion back to Serie A after they finished second in their division the previous season. The 20-year-old was an important part of the team's success and was widely recognised throughout Italy for his performances on the pitch. 

Zito is also eligible to play for Angola due to his ancestry from that country; however, he has not yet decided whether or not he will make an international appearance for Angola at senior level.

Gabriele Zappa is a young Italian footballer who currently plays for Cagliari. He started his career at hometown club Monza before moving to Serie A side COSOV in 2004.

He then spent two seasons with Nuova Usmate before joining Accademia Internazionale in 2008. In 2010, he made the switch to Serie B side Pisa and helped them promotion into the top-flight later that year.

After two years with Pisa, he joined Serie A side Chievo on a season-long loan in 2013 and was part of their squad which reached the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia that season.
The following campaign, Zappa signed permanently with Chievo but left after only one season when they were relegated back down to Serie B.

In January 2017, Zappa agreed to join fellow Serie B outfit Frosinone on an initial six-month contract but left less than 12 months later after failing to agree terms on a new deal. Ahead of the 2019–20 season, it was announced that Zappa had rejoined former club Monza.

Vincenzo Millico is a 22-year-old forward who currently plays for Cagliari. He was born in Turin, Italy on 12 August 2000 and started his career with Atletico Mirafiori before joining Juventus in 2008.

In 2012, he moved to Sassuolo where he spent two seasons before signing for Cagliari this summer. Millico is known as an exciting and powerful striker who can score goals at any stage of the game. We'll be watching him closely over the coming season as he looks to help Cagliari challenge for promotion back to Serie A.

Vincenzo Millico is a talented Italian footballer who has spent his entire senior career with Torino. He made his professional debut in 2019, and has since played 15 games for the club. 

In addition to playing football, Millico also enjoys spending time with family and friends. His international career began in 2015 when he represented Italy at U16 level before progressing to the U17 side two years later.

After making seven appearances for Italy's U19 team, Millico looks set to continue developing as a player and hopes to represent his country at senior levels soon.

Alberto Dossena is a defender who currently plays for Cagliari. He made his debut in 2015 with Lumezzane and has since played over 100 matches for the club.

Alberto is 1.88 m tall and has been called up to the Italian Under-21 team on several occasions. In 2016, he signed a new contract with Cagliari that will keep him at the club until 2020 Alberto Dossena is a versatile midfielder who has played for teams in Serie A and the Italian top flight.

He had a successful loan spell at Atalanta last season, scoring 10 goals in 38 appearances. The 33-year-old should be able to continue his good form with another team this season. Dossena will most likely join Cagliari next year but could leave if he doesn't start playing regularly soon enough.

Goldaniga is a centre back who currently plays for Cagliari. He began his career with Pizzighettone before moving to Serie A side AC Milan in 2013. Goldaniga made over 100 appearances for Milan, winning the Coppa Italia in 2016 and being named in their Champions League squad that year as well.

In 2018, he moved to Cagliari where he has since played 110 matches and scored one goal. Goldaniga has been capped by Italy at under-19 level and represented them at the 2017 European Under-21 Championship where they reached the semi finals of the competition before being beaten by Portugal Edoardo Goldaniga is a versatile player who can play as either a left or right back.

He started his career at Pizzighettone before joining Palermo in 2012. In 2014, he joined Pisa on loan and helped the club win promotion to Serie A that season. He then signed for Perugia in 2015 but left after one season due to family reasons. After leaving Perugia, Goldaniga moved to Sassuolo where he has since played 79 games and scored five goals over two seasons. 

At the end of the 2017-2018 season, he joined Genoa on a permanent deal and has been an important part of their squad ever since - scoring 11 goals in all competitions so far this season.

In November 2018, it was announced that Goldaniga would join Cagliari on a free transfer from Genoa at the end of the current campaign.

44. Isaías Omar Delpupo

Isaías Omar Delpupo

Isaías Omar Delpupo is the president of Cagliari and has been in that position since 2003. He previously worked as a banker and started his own company, Florsid Group, in 1989.

He has led the club through some difficult times including financial problems in 2005 and 2010 but they have now recovered both financially and on the pitch. Delpupo was born on 30 May 1920 in Cagliari which made him one of the oldest presidents in Italian football history.

Under his leadership, Cagliari won promotion to Serie A for the first time in their history during the 2017–18 season after years of struggling at lower levels of Italian football Isaías Omar Delpupo is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Genoa as their first choice. He has previously played for Fiorentina, Empoli and Chievo.

Isaías Omar Delpupo was born in Argentina on September 8th, 1995 and moved to Italy when he was just six years old. He started his career at age nine with the youth side of Italian club Fiorentina before making his senior debut two years later in 2015/16 season. 

His performances during that campaign saw him sign a five-year contract with the Serie A side Empoli where he made 37 appearances over the next three seasons (2016/17-2018/19).

In July 2019, it was announced that Isaías Omar Delpupo had joined Serie B side Genoa ahead of the 2020–21 season pending international clearance which arrived shortly afterwards resulting in him starting all 20 games for them this term already.
