Bristol Rovers Football Club is a well-known and established professional football club based in Bristol, England. Founded in 1883, the team has become one of the most successful teams in English football history. Currently playing in League One, they are known for their passionate supporters and have been competing since 1897 at various locations throughout North Bristol before moving to their current home ground; Memorial Stadium Horfield – where they have played since 1996. With a rich heritage full of ups and downs over the years that include winning both Division Three South Cup (1960) as well as Johnstone’s Paint Trophy (2007), fans remain proud and loyal despite recent events on or off the pitch – making them an essential part of British sport culture.

Rickie Lambert is a former English footballer who played as a striker for Liverpool between 1992-1997 and then again from 2007-2013. He was born in Kirkby, Merseyside on 16 February 1982 to parents Ronnie and Joan Lambert.

Rickie started his career at Liverpool where he made 206 appearances scoring 86 goals during 7 years with the club winning 3 Premier League titles, 1 FA Cup and 2 League Cups along the way before moving to Southampton in January 2007 for £4 million (£5million including add-ons).

After struggling to find form at The Saints, Lambert moved back to Anfield on a free transfer in July 2013 after being released by West Bromwich Albion six months earlier. 

Rickie retired from professional football following the conclusion of his contract with Liverpool at the end of the 2014/15 season having scored 44 goals in 104 league appearances (104 starts).

In 2003, Lambert was voted PFA Young Player of Year after netting 25 goals for Leeds United during their promotion campaign which saw them reach Division One for the first time since 1972. 

Since retiring from playing professionally, Rickie has continued his association with Liverpool as assistant coach under Jurgen Klopp helping guide them to victory in both Europa League Final against Sevilla as well as Champions League Final against Real Madrid last year.

Vitālijs Astafjevs is a Latvian footballer who played for Skonto and Bristol Rovers. He was born in Riga, Latvia on 3 April 1971 and began playing football with local side Daugava Rīga before moving to Skonto in 1990.

He made over 100 appearances for the club during his time there before joining Austrian side Vienna in 1997. In 1999 he moved to English side Bristol Rovers where he stayed until 2003 when he retired from professional football at the age of 32 due to injury problems.

After retiring from playing, Vitālijs worked as a coach with various clubs including Daugava Rīga, FK Ventspils, FC Jūrmala and BFC Tiraspol amongst others before taking up a role as assistant manager at SK Brann in 2018 Vitālijs Astafjevs is a Latvian football manager who has worked as an assistant manager at Skonto Riga, Latvia U21 and FK Jelgava.

He began his career in 1992 with Latvia before spending 16 years with the club between 1992 and 2006. In 2007, he moved to Rubin Kazan where he spent two seasons before returning to Skonto for another six years between 2008 and 2014. In 2018, Astafjev took up the position of assistant manager at Latvia national team.

Sinclair started his career with Bristol Rovers before moving to Chelsea in 2005. Sinclair spent five seasons at Chelsea, winning the Premier League and FA Cup in 2008.

In 2010, Sinclair joined Plymouth Argyle on loan and helped them reach the Championship play-offs that year. After leaving Chelsea, Sinclair had a short spell at Sunderland before returning to Plymouth Argyle in 2014 where he remained until 2018 when he was signed by Bristol Rovers.

Sinclair has represented England at youth level but is yet to make an appearance for the senior side Sinclair is a talented footballer who has played for several Premier League clubs. 

Sinclair first came to prominence when he was loaned out to Swansea City in 2009. He then had a successful time at Manchester City, before joining Aston Villa in 2015.

Sinclair has represented England at various levels, including the U17s and U20s teams, but his greatest achievement may be winning bronze medals with Great Britain at the Olympics in 2012. 

In 2020 Sinclair will move on from Celtic and join Preston North End on a permanent deal - hopefully confirming his status as one of the best players in English football.

Alfie Kilgour is a young central defender who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. Alfie started his career with Arsenal, but was released in 2017. He then joined Bristol Rovers on a two-year contract.

Alfie has represented England at youth level and won the U17 World Cup in 2015. In 2018, he made his debut for the senior national team and helped them qualify for the World Cup finals later that year.

Alfie is known as an hard-working player who always puts in 100% effort during matches. Alfie Kilgour is a talented young footballer who has played for Bristol Rovers in the Football League and Mangotsfield United on loan.

He has been described as an attacking midfielder with good passing ability and speed on the ground. Alfie Kilgour is currently playing for Hungerford Town on loan, where he is having an impact in the league table.

Geoff Bradford was born in Bristol, England in 1927 and died there in 1994. He played football for a number of clubs throughout his career, including Bristol Rovers and Wimbledon.

In 1988, he was awarded the FA Cup after leading Rovers to victory over Wimbledon in the final. Geoff Bradford is remembered as one of the most successful English footballers of his era, with multiple honours to his name including The FA Cup and Championship medals.

Geoff Bradford is best remembered for his time at Bristol Rovers, where he helped the club to win consecutive league titles in the early 1950s. 

Geoff Bradford also represented England at international level, appearing as a substitute against Hungary in 1955. After retiring from football, Geoff Bradford worked in a number of different roles, including as secretary and general manager of Bristol Rovers' successor club Yeovil Town.

Geoff Bradford passed away aged 87 on 24 September 2016 after suffering from Alzheimer's disease for many years.

Jaakkola is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. Jaakkola began his career with FC-88 before moving to TP-47 in 2003. Jaakkola spent two seasons with Slavia Prague, appearing in over 20 matches between 2009 and 2011.

Jaakkola has also spent time on loan at Serie A side Siena during the 2010–11 season. The 35 year old goalkeeper is contracted to Bristol Rovers until the end of the 2017–18 campaign. Anssi Jaakkola was born in Kemi, Finland on 13 March 1987.

He started his footballering career playing for FC-88 before moving onto TP-47 at the age of 17 where he made 17 appearances and kept one clean sheet between 2004 and 2006.

In 2007, Jaakkola signed for Serie A side Siena[5], making 7 appearances (all as a substitute) without scoring any goals while spending one season there before returning to England in 2009, signing for Colligiana on a temporary basis.

Finally, after an impressive loan spell at Czech outfit Slavia Prague, Jaakkola re-signed with Bristol Rovers ahead of their return to League One following relegation from Football League Championship last term.

Marcus Stewart is a former professional footballer who played as a striker. He began his career with Bristol Rovers, before moving on to Hull City and Burnley.

He later had spells at Wigan Athletic and Dundee United, before retiring in 2007 after playing for Chesterfield in League Two. Stewart has since worked as the Head of Player Development at Yeovil Town, helping the club reach promotion to League One in 2016.

In October 2018 he was appointed manager of National League North side AFC Fylde. Marcus Stewart played for Bristol Rovers, Huddersfield Town and Ipswich Town in the 1990s. 

He then had a loan spell at Preston North End before joining Yeovil Town in 2007. In his eight years with Exeter City he scored 85 goals in League appearances.

8. Mike Barrett

Mike Barrett was an influential musician and songwriter who tragically died at the age of 24. Mike's music was characterised by a strong sense of melody and emotion, which earned him a following among fans both within and outside the UK music scene.

His death remains one of rock music's most tragic stories; his untimely passing leaving behind wife, children and many friends grieving his loss. 

Mike Barrett was born in Bristol, England and played for Shirehampton Sports in the 1976-1979 season. He then moved to play for Bristol Rovers from 1979-1984 where he made 129 appearances and scored 18 goals.

After playing for Rovers, Barrett retired from football and started a family with his wife Lesley in 1984. Mike Barrett passed away at the age of 59 on January 3rd 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

George Petherbridge was born in Devonport, England on May 19th 1927. He played for several clubs in the English football league system before moving to Europe to play for Barcelona and Real Madrid.

After his playing career ended he became a manager and led teams including Portsmouth, Swindon Town, Aston Villa and Birmingham City. He died of cancer at the age of 85 on March 4th 2013 George Petherbridge began his senior career with Bristol Rovers where he played for over a decade.

He was part of the Salisbury side that reached the FA Cup Semi-Final in 1962 but lost to Newcastle United. In 1963, George joined Falmouth Town and helped the club win promotion to the Football League First Division in 1964. 

The following year, George signed for Maidenhead United and remained with them until 1965 when they were relegated back into non-league football.

After leaving Maidenhead, George spent two seasons playing for Ramsgate before retiring from professional football at the age of 34 years old. 

Throughout his career, George made 85 appearances in league play and scored 9 goals - an impressive total considering he only started playing professionally at such a young age.

Chris Lines is a midfielder who currently plays for Bath City. He was born in Bristol, England on 30 November 1985 and started playing football at the age of six with his local team West Somerset Battery.

After impressing during youth levels, he signed professional terms with Bristol Rovers in 2003 where he would make over 150 appearances before moving to Bath City in January 2017. 

A versatile player who can play either as an attacking midfielder or central defender, Chris Lines has represented both England U18s and U21s at various levels and won two caps for the full national side in 2010-11.

Known for his hard work off the pitch as well as on it, Chris Lines is popular within the English football community for his character and leadership qualities both on and off the field.

James Belshaw is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. He was born in Nottingham, England on October 12th 1990 and started playing football at the age of six with local side Hucknall Town.

Belshaw progressed through the youth ranks at Aston Villa before signing his first professional contract with the club in 2010. 

He made his debut for Aston Villa against Sheffield United in January 2011 and has since gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club, including appearing in both legs of their League Cup semi-final victory over Liverpool in 2013/14 season.

In July 2014, it was announced that Belshaw had signed a three year deal with Bristol Rovers following lengthy talks between both clubs and he made his debut for them later that month against Ipswich Town. 

James has represented England at under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels but is yet to win any caps despite being named as part of manager Gareth Southgate's provisional squad for Euro 2016 this summer.

Marquis is a 30-year-old English centre forward who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. Marquis started his career at Millwall and enjoyed some successful seasons there, including helping the Lions to promotion from League One in 2013.

Marquis then moved on to play for Doncaster Rovers before joining Bristol Rovers in January 2019. He has so far made 25 appearances for the Robins in all competitions this season. 

Marquis is known for his powerful striking ability and excellent finishing skills, which have helped him score goals at both professional levels and internationally for England U21s, U19s and the Under 21 team (who he captained in 2017).

In addition to his footballing skills, Marquis also possesses good strength and physicality, which he uses to win aerial challenges and help create chances for teammates; he has been described as an "outstanding header of the ball". 

Although not originally built as a central striker, Marquis' natural attacking instincts mean that he can often be found playing up front instead – something that has proved very effective with Bristol Rovers this season given their struggling defence.

Joshua Coburn is a forward who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. He was born in Bedale, England on 6 December 2002 and stands at 6 ft 3in tall. Coburn started his career with the youth team of Wolverhampton Wanderers before joining Bristol Rovers in 2016.

In total he has made 31 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals including one during the 2017-18 season which helped them reach the League One play-offs where they lost to Derby County in a penalty shootout after being 2–0 up at half time. 

Joshua is considered one of England's most promising young forwards and has been tipped to become a top player in future years Josh Coburn joined Middlesbrough on loan from Sunderland in January 2019.

He made his debut for the club against Bristol Rovers a few weeks later and went on to make 23 appearances during the season. Coburn is a versatile defender who can play at left-back or centre-back and has been described as an "outstanding" player by Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka. 

The 22-year-old was voted Player of the Month for March by supporters and is likely to be part of Boro's squad for next season, having signed a new contract in December 2020.

Antony Evans is a attacking midfielder who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. Antony Evans was born in Liverpool, England on September 23rd 1998 and started playing football at a young age.

Antony Evans made his professional debut with Yeovil Town in the Championship in 2016 and has since played for Rotherham United, Walsall, Coventry City, MK Dons and Bristol Rovers.

Bobby Jones was born on October 28, 1938 in Bristol, England. He played for Bristol Rovers from 1956-1966 and scored 64 goals in 250 appearances. Jones was a forward who became one of the most revered players in British football history.

On July 22nd, 2015 Bobby Jones died at the age of 76 after a long battle with cancer. Jones was a talented footballer who played for Northampton Town, Bristol Rovers and Bath City. He also managed Paulton Rovers and Yate Town during his career.

Jordan Rossiter is a highly-rated young midfielder who has spent most of his career at Liverpool, playing for the U19s and U21s. He captained Liverpool's U19 team in 2014 as they reached the FA Youth Cup final, where they were defeated by Chelsea.

Jordan Rossiter made his senior debut in 2016, coming on as a substitute in a League Cup match against Derby County. 

In 2017 he signed for Bristol Rovers on loan until the end of the season, helping them reach third place in League Two before returning to Liverpool ahead of their return to Premier League football next season.

Jordan Rossiter is considered one of England's brightest young stars and he will be looking to continue progressing at club level this year Jordan Rossiter is a midfielder who has played for Liverpool and Rangers. 

He made his debut for Liverpool in 2014 and has since gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club. He had a loan spell with Bury earlier this year before returning to Rangers later in the year.

Jordan Rossiter was called up to England's U19 team earlier this year but did not feature during their qualifying campaign. His international career began when he represented England at U16 level, winning a bronze medal in 2011-12 season. 

In July of this year, he was named captain of England’s U18 side which qualified for the European Championships finals in Denmark next month where they will face Spain, Croatia and hosts Sweden amongst others.

Nigel Martyn is a former goalkeeper who played for St Blazey in the Cornwall Premier League. He made his debut for the club in 1987 and went on to make 190 appearances, scoring six goals.

He retired from playing in 1998 after sustaining an injury that ruled him out of action for over eighteen months. Since retiring, Nigel has worked as a football coach with both young players and adults alike, focusing mainly on goalkeeping techniques.

In 2006 he was awarded an MBE for services to football coaching and also served as joint-manager of Bodmin Town between 2009-2013.

Before joining Truro City as their new manager in October 2013 Nigel Martyn is a former English footballer who played for Bristol Rovers, Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Everton.

Lewis Gibson is a 21-year old centre-back currently on loan at Bristol Rovers from Everton. Originally from Durham in North East England, Lewis has played for both Newcastle United and Sunderland youth teams before signing with Everton as an academy player in 2016.

Bobby Thomas is a defender who currently plays for Bristol Rovers on loan from Burnley. Bobby was born in England in 2001 and started playing football at the age of six with his local team, Chester City FC.

David Clarkson is a Scottish footballer who has played for several clubs, most notably Motherwell. Clarkson was born in 1985 and started playing football at an early age.

He made his professional debut with Hamilton Academical in 2003 and went on to play for Middlesbrough (2005-06), Sunderland (2007-10) and Plymouth Argyle (2011). In June 2012, he signed for Premier League club Chelsea after impressing during a trial period.

Ryan Green is a Welsh defender who has played for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Torquay United and Cardiff City in his career. Ryan Green made his professional debut with Wolves in 1997, and he spent three seasons at the club before moving on to Torquay United on loan in 2001.

After making just ten appearances for Torquay, Green rejoined Cardiff City on a season-long loan deal later that year. He helped the Bluebirds to promotion as champions of Division Two during 2002–03, before signing permanently for them the following summer.

Jason Roberts is a retired English professional footballer who played as a striker. Roberts began his career with Hayes in 1995, and was promoted to the first team at the age of 18.

He made his debut for England in December 1998, against Brazil. After four seasons with Hayes, Roberts signed for Blackburn Rovers in 2000 where he spent six years before retiring from football at the end of 2007-08 season due to injury.

Chris Dickson is a striker who has played for Brentwood Town on loan from Billericay Town. He started his career at Erith & Belvedere, before moving to Dulwich Hamlet in 2007.

Jeff Hughes is a Northern Irish midfielder who currently plays for Lorne in the Scottish Highland Football League. Jeff Hughes started his career at Ballymena United before moving to Larne in 2002.

In 2005, Jeff Hughes joined Livingston and spent two seasons with the club before joining Accrington Stanley in 2007. After three years with Accrington, Jeff Hughes moved to Fleetwood Town where he has remained ever since 2013.

Jeff Hughes has represented Northern Ireland at youth level and was part of their U21 squad that reached the semi-finals of the UEFA European Championship in 2011. 

JeffHughes made his senior international debut for Northern Ireland against Wales on 10 November 2012 and featured sporadically thereafter until being dropped from the team by new manager Michael O'Neill following Euro 2016 qualifying failure.

McCormick started his career at Bury St Edmunds before moving on to Bristol Rovers in 2017. McCormick is a midfielder who can play either as an attacking or defensive midfielder.

Fraser Forster is a goalkeeper who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur. Fraser Forster started his career with Stocksfield before moving onto Wallsend Boys Club in 2001.

In 2005, Fraser Forster joined Southampton and has since made over 180 appearances for the club. In 2011, Fraser Forster was called up to the England squad by Fabio Capello and played in two matches during that year's World Cup campaign.

Garry Kenneth is a Scottish football player who currently plays for Lochee United. Garry Kenneth first came to prominence as a youth player with Dundee United, before moving on to play for several other clubs in Scotland and England.

Alan Ball Jr. was born on May 12th, 1945 in Farnworth, Lancashire England and died 25 April 2007 at the age of 61. After playing for Ashton United and Bolton Wanderers in his youth years, Alan joined Blackpool in 1961 where he would make 116 appearances over six seasons before joining Everton in 1966.

A versatile midfielder who could play as a defensive midfielder or winger, Alan helped Everton to two League Championships and four FA Cups during his time with the club. 

He also represented England at international level on 43 occasions between 1965 and 1982 including appearing at the 1970 World Cup Finals where they reached the semi-finals but were beaten by West Germany 3–1 after leading 1–0 early on thanks to a Bobby Charlton goal.

In 2002, Alan was awarded an MBE (Member of The British Empire) for services to football which capped off a successful career that saw him earn cult status among fans both domestically and internationally alike.

Jermaine Easter was born in Cardiff, Wales on January 15th 1982. He started his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers where he made 29 appearances between 2001 and 2004.

Easter then moved to Hartlepool United on a permanent basis, making 15 appearances during the loan period from Cambridge United in 2004. After leaving Hartlepool United, Easter signed for Cambridge United on a contract until 2007 but left after just one season due to poor form.

Easter has since had spells with Cheltenham Town and Morecambe before joining Bristol Rovers in 2016 where he currently plays as a forward Easter was born in the United Kingdom on October 26th, 1988. He started his career at Charlton Athletic before joining Cambridge United in 2004.

Easter made 24 appearances and scored six goals for Cambridge during his time with them before moving to Boston United in 2005. Easter then had a successful loan spell at Plymouth Argyle where he helped them win promotion to the Championship in 2007-2008 season. 

In 2008, Easter joined Millwall on a permanent basis and played there until 2013 when he moved back to Bristol Rovers on another permanent deal.

Jake Gosling is a Welsh born English international footballer who currently plays for Bristol Manor Farm. Jake began his career at Plymouth Argyle and made 73 appearances before joining Exeter City in 2011.

He enjoyed success with the Grecians, winning promotion to League One in 2015 and reaching the play-offs the following year. 

In 2017, he joined Gibraltar where he has since been a regular starter for their national side and helped them qualify for their first ever European Championships in 2020.

Derek Riordan started his career with Pilton Sporting Club in Edinburgh before signing for Hibs in 2001. He made 123 appearances for Hibs over a six-year period, scoring 54 goals.

Riordan moved to York City on a two-year deal in 2016 and has since scored 10 goals in 27 appearances for the club. Derek Riordan is a Scottish football player who has played for clubs such as Celtic, Hibs, and St Johnstone.

Derek Riordan made his professional debut with Celtic in 2003 but later moved on to Hibs where he enjoyed greater success. He represented Scotland at U19 level before making the step up to U21 team duty and helping them win the 2005 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.

In 2009, Derek Riordan joined St Johnstone after being released by Hibernian following their relegation from the top flight of Scottish football in 2008. 

His eleven goals during his first season at McDiarmid Park helped Saints secure promotion back to the SPL whilst also appearing in both domestic cup competitions that year; League Cup and Scottish Cup respectively.

The striker went on to score 23 times across two seasons with Saints before joining Brechin City on trial prior to signing for East Fife in 2015 where he continued playing until 2017 - winning seven trophies along the way. 

This summer (2017), Derek Riordan rejoined Edinburgh City after spending last season outwith competitive football due to injury.

Lewis Gordon is a left back who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. Lewis was born in London, England in 2001 and started playing football at the age of six with local side South Norwood.

He progressed through the youth ranks at Bristol Rovers before making his first team debut in 2017. Lewis has represented England at under-16, under-17 and under-19 level, but has yet to make an appearance for the full national side.

In addition to football, Lewis is also a keen basketball player and enjoyed representing Great Britain at the U18 European Championships last year. Lewis is known for his hard work on the pitch as well as his strong character off it - he recently completed a three month training camp with English Premier League club Manchester United.

Zain Westbrooke was born on October 28th 1996 in the UK. He is a central midfielder for Bristol Rovers and has made over 100 appearances for them. Zain also played youth football with Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur before joining Bristol Rovers in 2016.

Westbrooke is an England U17 international and won two caps at U20 level earlier this year. The 26-year-old enjoys playing music as his main hobby outside of football - he has released three EPs under the name ‘The Vamps’. 

Zain Westbrooke is a talented footballer who has spent the majority of his career playing in England for Brentford, Coventry City and Bristol Rovers.

Westbrooke first broke into the senior team at Brentford in 2011 and has since made over 100 appearances for the club, scoring 32 goals along the way. 

In 2015, he moved to Championship side Brentford on a permanent deal and went on to make 36 appearances for them before joining Solihull Moors on loan in 2017. 

He returned to Brentford ahead of their return to League One but left the club again in 2018 following relegation from League Two with Leyton Orient having signed him on a temporary basis later that year.

After leaving Britton Rovers,Westbrooke joined Conference Premier side Coventry City where he started 32 times before being released at the end of his contract early last year; subsequently signing for Bristol Rovers soon after until his move was canceled by mutual consent earlier this month due to personal reasons.

Paul Coutts was born on 22 July 1988 in Aberdeen, Scotland. He started his career at Bristol Rovers and has since made over 120 appearances for the club.

Coutts represented Scotland under-21s in 2009 and is currently playing for Bristol Rovers' first team. Paul is a midfielder who can play anywhere across the midfield area, but is primarily known as an attacking player or forward due to his dribbling ability and finishing skills.

Despite being signed by Bristol Rovers from local side Elgin City in 2007, it wasn't until 2010 that he really established himself as a first-team regular with the Robins following several loan spells away from home during that time period including one spell with Rochdale Hornets.

In May 2013, having been voted Player of the Year by supporters at both Ashton Gate and Memorial Stadium, Coutts extended his contract with Bristol Rovers until summer 2017.

Liam Lawrence was born on December 14, 1981 in Retford, England. He began his career with Retford United before moving to Nottingham Forest and Mansfield Town.

In 1999, he joined Molineux where he spent four seasons before joining Stoke City in 2004. He made 133 appearances for the Potters scoring 21 goals during his time at the club before retiring at the end of the 2009-10 season.

Rory Fallon is a New Zealand international forward who has played for Barnsley, Shrewsbury Town and Swindon Town in the English Premier League. He started his career at Mount Albert Grammar before signing for Barnsley in 1999.

In his younger years, Luca Hoole played football for Newport County before making the switch to professional level with Bristol Rovers in 2017. Outside of football, Luca Hoole is studying law at university and hoping to become a lawyer one day.

He is known as an experienced defender who can also provide support up front if needed - something that has proved crucial for Bristol Rovers this season given their lack of goalscoring options. 

Luca Hoole will be looking to continue his good form into next season as he looks to help Bristol Rovers return to the top-flight league where they belong Luca Hoole is a talented young footballer who has been playing for Bristol Rovers in the English Football League Championship.

Jarmani Langlais is a forward who currently plays for Frome Town on loan from Bristol Rovers. He has represented Canada at youth level, and played his first professional game in the Championship with Brentford FC in January of 2016.

In total, he has made 39 appearances for Brentford FC and scored 7 goals. After being released by Brentford, Jarmani signed with Frome Town in September of 2017. Jarmani Langlais is a versatile young player who can play as either a left-back or right-back.

He joined Cardiff City in 2019 and has since made several appearances for the first team, including one in the Premier League against Manchester United. In total, he has played 21 league games for Bristol Rovers and scored one goal.

Niall Lovelock is a central defender who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. He has represented his country at various youth levels, and made his senior international debut in 2009.

Niall Lovelock was born on October 8th, 1978 in Bath, England. As an avid environmentalist, Niall Lovelock has been outspoken about the effects that human activity has had on the environment over the past few decades.

In 2006 he received the Royal Society Prize for Science and Literature for work on climate change mitigation Niall Lovelock is a young player with plenty of potential, who has had an impressive career so far. He started his youth career at Bath City before moving to Bristol Rovers in 2020.

Niall has made several appearances for the first team and scored one goal during his time at Bristol Rovers so far. He is currently on loan at Cirencester Town and looks set to continue developing his footballing skills there for some time to come.

Reggie Lambe is a Bermudian midfielder who currently plays for Stowmarket Town. Reggie Lambe started his career at Ipswich Town, before moving to Dandy Town Hornets in 2007.

In 2009, Lambe joined up with Stowmarket Town and has since made over 100 appearances for the club. Reggie Lambe is known for his strong defensive play and accurate passing ability.

He is one of the longest-serving players in Stowmarket's history, having been with the club since its formation in 2002 Reggie Lambe is a Bermudian international footballer who plays for Cambridge United.

Harold Jarman was born in Bristol, England on 4 May 1939. He began his career at Clifton Villa before joining Bristol St George in 1958. Harold spent the majority of his playing career with Bristol Rovers, making452 appearances and scoring 127 goals between 1973 and 1978.

After retiring from football, he managed Portway Bristol for two seasons as player-manager. In 2002, Harold was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame alongside Bobby Moore and Geoff Hurst. 

Harold Jarman was born on October 6th, 1945 in Bath. He made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire against Middlesex in 1961 at the age of just 18 years old.

Harold played for Mangotsfield United from 1989 to 1992 before retiring from playing cricket altogether. In total, he scored 723 runs at an average of 27.36 and took 66 wickets with a bowling average of 26.06 across his career. 

He is now retired and lives in Bath with his wife Jeanette and their two children Charlie and Harriet. Harold is also a taxi driver by trade.

He has been involved with charity work throughout his life, most notably supporting Alzheimer's Research UK since 2007. Harold Jarman will be sadly missed by all who have had the opportunity to meet him - we salute you sir.

Joey Barton is a midfielder who has played for several clubs, most notably Manchester City and Bristol Rovers. Barton became embroiled in controversy in 2010 when he was sent off during an FA Cup match against Fulham.

He had a short spell playing for Rangers before retiring from football in 2012 due to injury. Barton rejoined the coaching staff at Bristol Rovers in 2014 after completing his bans from professional football and Welsh footballing association Ladbrokes Championship.

In 2017, it was announced that he would become manager of Bristol Rovers following the departure of Darrell Clarke. As of May 2019, he remains manager of Bristol Rovers. 

Barton began his career at Manchester City and went on to play for Newcastle United, Queens Park Rangers, Marseille (loan) and Burnley.

Barton scored 38 goals in 133 appearances during his managerial career with Burnley and Rangers. In 2018 he joined Fleetwood Town as manager but was sacked after just one season.

Nick Anderton is a left back who currently plays for Bristol Rovers. Nick was born on 22 April 1996 in Preston, England and started playing football at the age of six.

He made his professional debut with Bristol Rovers in February 2018, coming on as a substitute in their 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers. 

Nick has represented England at youth level, appearing three times under-17s and twice under-19s before making his full international debut for the senior team in November 2017 against Sweden Nick Anderton was born in 1992, and started his career at Preston North End.

He spent two seasons with the Lancashire side before joining Chorley on loan in 2014. He then signed for Gateshead on a season-long loan the following year, helping them earn promotion to League Two. 

In 2015, he joined Aldershot Town on a one-year loan and helped them reach the play-offs; however they were defeated by Fleetwood Town in the semi-finals. Nick moved back to England when he signed for Barrow in 2016; he went on to score 21 goals during two seasons at The Memorial Stadium.

This summer, Nick joined Bristol Rovers as their fourth signing of the season - scoring 34 goals from 49 appearances so far.
