Shamrock Rovers Football Club is one of the most successful teams in the Republic of Ireland. Founded in 1901 in the South Dublin suburb of Tallaght, the club has won the League of Ireland title a record 20 times and the FAI Cup a record 25 times.

Terry Palmer is a defender who has played for clubs in Ireland, England and Scotland. Palmer started his career at Irish club Bohemians, before moving to England to play for Portsmouth, Blackburn Rovers and Cardiff City.

He then moved to Scotland to play for Rangers and Hearts, before retiring in 2009. Palmer has represented Ireland at international level, and played in the 2002 World Cup. 

He has since worked as a football coach, and is currently the head coach of English club Derby County.

Palmer was named the Scottish Football Writers' Association Player of the Year in 2003. He has two children, and lives in Derby with his wife. Palmer is a fan of Irish club Dublin City. 

Palmer was made a Scottish national honourary citizen in 2011. Terry Palmer was a midfielder for UCD AFC and Shamrock Rovers in the 1990s.

He played in 155 league games for the former and 204 for the latter. Palmer also spent time at Bohemian F.C. in 2005, but did not make any appearances. Palmer is now a coach at UCD AFC.

Pádraig Amond is a Irish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Woking. Amond started his career at Shamrock Rovers before moving to Woking in 2008.

Amond has made over 100 appearances in the English League, scoring 23 goals. Amond has also played for Shelbourne, Dundalk, Bray Wanderers and Limerick. Amond was called up to the Republic of Ireland national team in February 2014 for a friendly against Scotland.

Duff was born on 2 March 1979 in Ballyboden, Dublin, Ireland. He attended Ballyboden Infants School and then went on to play for Leicester Celtic, Lourdes Celtic, St.

Murphy was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1985. He started his career with Leicester Celtic in 1996, and then moved to Shamrock Rovers in 2002. Murphy has been a regular goalkeeper for both clubs, and has made over 250 appearances in total.

Murphy has won a number of honours during his career, including two League of Ireland Cups with Shamrock Rovers and the League Cup with Leicester Celtic.

Gary Twigg is a striker who has played for Derby County and Scotland national teams. Gary started his career at Derby County, where he made nine appearances in league play.

He moved to Scotland to play for Rangers in 2005, but only played one season for them. He then moved back to England to play for Leeds United. He spent three seasons at Leeds, before moving to Sheffield United in 2009.

Billy Woods is a former Irish football player who played for Coventry City and Cork City in the 1990s. Woods was born in Cork, Ireland in 1973. Woods began his career at Midleton in 1991.

In 1993, Woods moved to Coventry City. Woods made 35 appearances for Cork City between 1993 and 1995. After leaving Cork City, Woods spent time playing in the United States and Australia. Woods returned to England in 2006, playing for Notts County.

Woods retired from professional football in 2008. Woods is now a coach and a football commentator. He is a former Irish international and Tranmere Rovers player. 

He started his career with Tranmere Rovers and played for them for two seasons. He then moved to Blackpool and played for them for three seasons.

He then went to Portadown and played for them for 27 seasons. He then moved to Shamrock Rovers and played for them for 119 seasons. 

He then moved to Cork City and played for them for 170 seasons. He announced his retirement from professional football in 2010. He was inducted into the Irish Football Hall of Fame in 2012.

He has since been working as a football pundit.

James Doona is a Irish winger who currently plays for Longford Town. Doona started his youth career at Lourdes Celtic before moving to Longford Town in 2017.
