The Carlton Football Club is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in the Australian Football League (AFL). Founded in 1864 in Carlton, Melbourne, the Blues have established themselves as a powerhouse in the AFL, consistently competing for the top honours year after year.

Sam Walsh is a midfielder who was drafted in the 2018 national draft. He made his AFL debut for Carlton against Richmond at the MCG on 21 March 2019. Sam Walsh has played for Geelong Falcons (NAB League) and St Joseph's Football & Netball Club before joining Carlton in 2019.

His height of 184 cm and weight of 83 kg makes him an imposing figure up forward or midfield for the Blues this season. 

With potential to develop into one of Australia's best midfielders, Sam Walsh is sure to be a key player for Carlton this year and beyond Sam Walsh is an exciting young player who has had a successful career to date.

He was drafted by Carlton in the 2019 AFL Draft and has since played for them in each of the past two seasons. In 2020, he won the Ron Evans Medal as best first-year player in the competition and was also named All-Australian team member that year.

Alex Jesaulenko was born in Salzburg, Austria on 2 August 1945. He played for Carlton from 1967 to 1979 and St Kilda from 1980 to 1981. Alex represented Victoria between 1978 and 1979 as a player and coach.

Alex Jesaulenko was a prolific goal kicker and captain of St Kilda in the 1980s. He played for Carlton from 1989 to 1990, but could not prevent the club's relegation at the end of that season. Jesaulenko later went on to coach both clubs before retiring in 2002.

Alex Jesaulenko is one of only four players ever to be awarded the Jock McHale Medal and two-time All-Australian selection. 

He ranks fourth all-time for total goals kicked in VFL/AFL history, behind Mark McGhee, Gary Ablett Sr., and Leigh Matthews Jr. In 1996 he became an honorary life member of Carlton Football Club and was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame as a Legend in 2008.

Eddie Betts is a forward who has played for Carlton and Adelaide in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by Carlton in the 2004 pre-season draft, and made his debut for the club in Round 1 of 2005.

BETTS has been one of Adelaide's most reliable players over the past few seasons, amassing 310 goals from 312 games across all competitions. His performances at both clubs have seen him be selected in Australia's national team on multiple occasions.

In 2019, BETTS announced his retirement from professional football after 132 matches with Adelaide - making him their all-time leading scorer and highest goal scorer ever. Eddie Betts is one of the most consistent and talented players in Australian Rules Football.

He has won several accolades during his career, including 3 All-Australian selections and 2 Carlton Best First Year Players Awards. In 2019 he was awarded the AFL Goal of the Year award for an outstanding goal against Geelong.

Zachary Williams was born in Narrandera, New South Wales on 20 September 1994. He played junior football for the local Narrandera club before being drafted by the Giants with pick 54 in 2013’s rookie draft.

Zachary made his AFL debut against Gold Coast at Manuka Oval in round 5 of the 2013 season and has since gone on to play 86 games for GWS. In 2017, he signed a two-year contract extension with Greater Western Sydney that will keep him at the club until 2020.

Zachary is recognized as one of Australia’s best defenders and has been named an All-Australian twice (in 2015 and 2018). Outside of football, Zachary works as a personal trainer/coach and loves spending time with his girlfriend and young son. 

Zachary Williams was drafted by Greater Western Sydney in 2013 and played with the club until 2020.

He then joined Carlton for the 2021 season. Zachary Williams is a midfielder who can play either as a key forward or on the wing. 

In his 127 games, he has scored 32 goals which makes him one of Carlton's most prolific players over recent seasons.

Chris Judd is an Australian footballer who played for West Coast and Carlton in the AFL. He was a premiership player with West Coast in 2006, and won two best-and-fairest awards at Carlton.

Judd started his career with Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup before being drafted by West Coast in 2001. He was part of their successful inaugural season, playing 34 games and scoring 138 goals.

Judd played five seasons with the Eagles, winning another Premiership title in 2005 before joining Carlton following the club's relegation from the AFL hierarchy. At Carlton he won two best-and-fairest awards (2007, 2010), as well as a runner up medal in 2013.

In 2015 Judd announced his retirement from professional football after 15 years' involvement at both junior and senior levels; since retiring he has continued to play representative football for Victoria Country side Geelong Falcons FC.

Nicholls, who played for Carlton from 1957-1974, was a ruckman and forward. He represented Victoria 31 times and Australia 3 times during his playing career.

Nicholls went on to coach at Carlton from 1984-1989 before moving onto Richmond in 1990 where he coached until 1997. Nicholls then returned to Carlton as the club's senior assistant coach in 2002 but left after the 2004 season after coaching them to two successive wooden spoons seasons.

 He rejoined Richmond as their head coach for the 2006 season but resigned after one year due to poor results which saw him sacked in 2007 with just five wins from 18 matches John Nicholls is one of the most decorated players in Carlton's history, winning 5 Robert Reynolds Trophies and captaining the club for 3 years.

He was also a three-time VFL Premiership player, as well as being named Best First Year Player in 1957. John Nicholls has been inducted into both the Australian Football Hall of Fame and the AFL Team of the Century, among other accolades.

Ron Barassi was a great player and coach in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He played for Melbourne and Carlton and was a member of the Australian national team.

Ron Barassi was one of the best midfielders of his era and was known for his strong marking and tackling. After retiring from playing, Ron Barassi became a successful coach.

He led Carlton to the 1989 VFL premiership and then Melbourne to the 1995 AFL premiership. Ron Barassi has been honoured with a statue at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2000.

Bruce Doull was born on September 11th, 1950 in Geelong, Victoria. He began his career with Jacana in 1969 and spent ten seasons with the club. Doull made his debut for Carlton in May 1969 against South Melbourne and went on to play 356 games for the club.

He was a defender and is best known for his long career at Carlton, where he won 22 games and was runner-up in the 1985 Brownlow Medal. Doull retired from the AFL in 1986 and has since been a football commentator for the ABC. He is married with three children and currently resides in Melbourne.

Doull is a life member of the Carlton Football Club and was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in the 2001 Queen's Birthday Honours. Doull has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and continues to work as a football commentator despite his illness. 

Doull is a very popular figure in the AFL community and is generally well-respected for his contributions to the sport.

Anthony Koutoufides is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Carlton in the National Football League. Koutoufides was born in Lalor, Victoria in 1973 and played his junior football for the local club, Lalor.

Koutoufides made his AFL debut in Round 13, 1992, playing against Adelaide at Princes Park. He would go on to play 278 games for Carlton, scoring 226 goals. Koutoufides left the AFL in 2007 and has since played for the Brisbane Lions and St Kilda in the Australian Football League.

Koutoufides has also played for the Victorian Football League (VFL) club Werribee and the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League. 

In 2013, Koutoufides was inducted into the Carlton Football Club Hall of Fame. Koutoufides has two children, a son and a daughter. Koutoufides is currently the football manager for the Brisbane Lions.

Zac Fisher was born in York, Western Australia on 15 June 1998. Fisher started playing football for Perth (WAFL) in the under-9s and was a member of the club's senior team before being drafted by Carlton in the 2016 national draft.

Fisher made his AFL debut in round 4 of the 2017 season against Gold Coast at Etihad Stadium. He kicked two goals in the victory. Fisher played 17 games for Carlton in his first season, and in 2018 he played 25 games. He has since departed Carlton to join GWS Giants in the 2019 season.
