The Temple Owls football team is a proud member of the American Athletic Conference, and they bring a rich tradition of excellence to each game they play. Representing Temple University, the Owls have a long history of success, with numerous bowl game appearances and Big East Conference championships.

With their home field of Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Temple Owls are a force to be reckoned with in college football.

1. Michael Dogbe

Michael Dogbe Career

Dogbe was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has played defensive end for his entire career, and has had success with the team.

Dogbe is from Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, and attended high school at Parsippany Hills. After playing college football at Temple, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2019.

In his rookie year, Dogbe made a significant impact on defense and helped lead to a 9-7 record for the team in the 2019 season. Michael Dogbe is an active NFL player who has totaled 46 tackles, 2 sacks and 1 fumble recovery in 7 games this season.

Michael was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Dogbe attended Wesleyan University where he played linebacker for 3 seasons (2015-2018). 

After his college career, Michael signed with the Browns and spent time on their practice squad before being activated for a game in Week 5 of the 2018 season. 

In 2019, Michael was traded to the Baltimore Ravens and spent all but one game on their roster that year before being waived at final cuts camp prior to the 2020 season.

Michael then signed with Indianapolis Colts as a free agent and appeared in 4 games before being released at final cuts ahead of Week 10 of the regular season. The Jacksonville Jaguars claimed him off waivers late in week 11, averaging almost 14 snaps per game.

2. Haason Reddick

Haason Reddick was drafted 13th overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2017 NFL Draft. He started all 16 games for Arizona Cardinals in 2017, recording 54 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 interceptions.

In his rookie season with the Panthers, he recorded 41 tackles and 1 sack before being traded to Philadelphia during the offseason. Haason has been a consistent starter for the Eagles since joining them in 2018 and is currently their leading tackler with 127 total tackles (77 solo).

He attended Temple University where he played defensive end for four seasons from 2012-2016 under coach Geoff Collins before switching positions to outside linebacker as a senior due to team need at that position. 

Haason is married and has one child; he enjoys playing basketball and soccer as well as spending time with family and friends Haason Reddick is an edge rusher who was drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals.

Reddick won a Pro Bowl in 2022 and had 367 tackles, 45 sacks, 16 forced fumbles, and 5 fumble recoveries during his career with the Cardinals. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent in December of 2020 and played in all 16 games for them that season before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles at the end of January 2021.

In nine seasons with both teams, he has totaled 366 tackles (including playoffs), 45 sacks, 18 pass deflections, and 5 fumble recoveries.

3. Raheem Brock

Raheem Brock Career

Raheem Brock was a standout defensive end for the Temple Owls from 1997-2000. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2002 and played there for six seasons before being traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2011.

In his six years with the Colts, he recorded 119 tackles, 20 sacks, two fumble recoveries, and one interception. 

Brock made an immediate impact with the Seahawks, recording 10 sacks over his first two seasons with them and helping lead them to their first Super Bowl championship in franchise history in 2013.

After spending three more seasons with Seattle (2014–17), Brock signed a one-year contract with the Oakland Raiders early into training camp of 2018 but failed to make an appearance on the field during that season due to injury Raheem Brock is a former second-round draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks. 

He was drafted in 2010 and spent two seasons with the team before being traded to the Tennessee Titans in 2012.

In his two seasons with Seattle, he made 38 tackles and 3 sacks while helping lead the team to back-to-back Super Bowl appearances. 

After spending two years with Tennessee, Brock was released by the Titans in 2013 and signed with Indianapolis Colts for one season before being waived once again by Indianapolis at the end of training camp in 2014. 

Since then, Brock has been out of football but is currently working as an assistant coach at a high school near Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

Raheem Brock will always be remembered as one of Seattle's most talented defensive players during their run to three consecutive Super Bowls beginning in 2010.

4. Kevin Ross

Ross was a cornerback for the Chiefs from 1984-1993. He then became a coach in 1994, working with the Falcons and Chargers before being hired by Tampa Bay in 2013.

Ross is credited with helping develop future Pro Bowler Aqib Talib while coaching him with the Chiefs from 2007-2010. In November of 2017, Ross was fired as defensive backs coach after just one season on staff with Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Ross has been a defensive backs coach for the Minnesota Vikings, San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers since 2004.

In 2007-2009 he was also the defensive quality control coach with both teams. Ross became cornerbacks coach of the Oakland Raiders in 2010 and held that position until 2011 when he departed to become defensive backs coach for Arizona Cardinals. 

He returned to coaching duties with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as their cornerback's coach in 2019.

5. Rock Ya-Sin

Career

Rock Ya-Sin was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Rock Ya-Sin played college football at Presbyterian and started for three seasons there.

He recorded four interceptions as a senior and helped lead Presbyterian to an FCS playoff appearance in 2018. The 26-year-old cornerback has appeared in all 32 games for the Raiders since being drafted, recording 54 tackles, two sacks, and one interception.

Rock Ya-Sin is a young, up-and-coming linebacker who was drafted in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft. He has impressed during his rookie season with his play on defense and speed on offense. 

Rock Ya-Sin started all 14 games he played for Fresno State this past season and finished with 183 tackles, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 27 pass deflections.

Rock Ya-Sin will continue to develop as a player over the next few years and could be an important part of Oakland's defense in the future.

Joe Klecko was a successful defensive end and tackle in the NFL for over 20 years. He played for three different teams, including the Jets and Colts. Klecko is best known for his play on defense, where he racked up numerous sacks and forced fumbles.

He also proved to be an effective run defender from the DE position. Joe Klecko retired from professional football in 1987 after playing with the Jets and Colts respectively. 

He has since remained active in various charity work surrounding sport throughout his career as both player and ambassador of the game of football.

Joe Klecko was a dominant defensive player in the NFL for 12 seasons. He was twice named First-team All-Pro and led the league in sacks three times. 

Klecko is also a member of the New York Jets Ring of Honor and has his number retired by them. Joe Klecko is widely considered one of the best defensive players in history, and he will be sorely missed by fans of the game.

7. Tra Thomas

Tra Thomas was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1998. He played for the Eagles for 13 seasons, before being traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2009.

Thomas then spent three seasons with the Chargers before retiring from football in 2010. Tra Thomas was a standout lineman at the University of Miami where he won 2nd team All-America honors.

He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 4th round (101st overall) in 2002 and played his entire 10-year NFL career with them, starting 168 games. 

He was named to both the Pro Bowl and Second-team All-Pro teams 3 times each during his tenure with Philly and retired after the 2006 season with 1,048 tackles, 44 sacks, and 9 forced fumbles.

Tra Thomas currently serves as offensive line coach for IMG Academy in Florida where he has been since 2017.

Dion Dawkins played college football at Temple and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2017. Dion Dawkins is an offensive tackle who has appeared in 39 games for the Bills over the past two seasons.

Dion Dawkins is a tall, heavy player with good technique who should continue to develop his game over the next few years. Dion Dawkins is a promising young player who will be looking to improve on his performance in 2018 and 2019 Dion Dawkins started at left guard for the Buffalo Bills in 2017 and 2018.

Dion Dawkins was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Dion Dawkins played college football at Temple University, where he was a three-year starter at left guard. 

Dion Dawkins has been praised for his athleticism and toughness by coaches and players around the league, including former Bills teammate Shaq Lawson who called him "one of my favorite guys to play with." The Bills signed Dawkins to a four-year contract extension in December 2020.

Walker was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2017 but did not sign with them. Walker then signed with the Houston Roughnecks in 2020 and has since led their offense to success.

Walker is set to make his debut for the Carolina Panthers in 2021, where he will look to help lead them to victory on Sundays. Phillip Walker is a quarterback for the Carolina Panthers.

Armstead was drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Armstead played college football at Temple and led the team in rushing for three consecutive seasons.

In his two years with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Armstead has appeared in seven games total and rushed for a total of 13 yards on six carries. Armstead is a promising prospect who could develop into an elite pass rusher in the NFL.

Armstead was one of the best defenders in AAC this past season, recording 17 receptions for 160 yards and two touchdowns. 

Armstead has good speed and agility for his size, which gives him coverage ability as well. He needs to work on his strength and conditioning, but Armstead is definitely worth keeping an eye on over the next few years.

Wilkerson played defensive end for the New York Jets from 2011-2017. He was drafted in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. Wilkerson has been a Pro Bowler twice (2013, 2017) and has made the All-Pro team twice (2013, 2017).

Wilkerson has also been a part of two Super Bowl teams (2015, 2019). Wilkerson is a two-time champion with the New York Jets (2015, 2019) and has also been a part of two AFC Championship teams (2013, 2017). Wilkerson has been a part of the Jets' Ring of Honor.

Muhammad Wilkerson was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He has since established himself as one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL.

 Muhammad Wilkerson has been a 2× Second-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler. He is also a force against the run, recording 41 tackles for loss and 11 forced fumbles in his career.

Paul Palmer was a running back for 10 seasons in the NFL. Palmer was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 1987 NFL Draft. He played for the Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals.

Palmer was a two-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro. He was inducted into the Temple Football Hall of Fame in 2003. Palmer is currently a color commentator for the Bengals. Paul Palmer was a three-time consensus All-American and four-time All-East selection at fullback for the Barcelona Dragons.

He also was a two-time ECAC Rookie of the Year and ECAC Player of the Year. Palmer was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 1987 NFL Draft and played in Philadelphia for six seasons. 

Palmer was a quick, versatile player who was a threat as a runner and receiver. He was a good pass protector and could block in the run game.

Palmer retired after the 1997 NFL season. Palmer was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl XXX victory over the Green Bay Packers. 

He was also a member of the Eagles' NFC Championship team in 2001 and their Super Bowl XXXVI victory over the New England Patriots. Palmer was inducted into the Philadelphia Eagles' Hall of Fame in 2006.

Tyler Matakevich was born in Stratford, Connecticut, in 1992. Matakevich played college football at Temple. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2016, but spent two seasons with the team before being traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2020.

Matakevich has played in 61 games for the Bills, recording 257 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one interception. Matakevich is a two-time Pro Bowler and was named to the All-Rookie Team in 2016. Tyler Matakevich is a standout linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers and was a unanimous selection to the 2018 Pro Bowl.

Tyler Matakevich was born in Buffalo, New York and attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was a two-time first-team All-American and two-time AAC Defensive Player of the Year. 

Tyler Matakevich has a long and successful NFL career, and is widely considered one of the best linebackers in the game. He has 125 tackles and 4 interceptions in 14 games this season.

Henry Burris played 10 seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and was a three-time CFL All-Star. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2001 and played for the team until he was released in 2005.

He then spent two seasons with the Calgary Stampeders before joining the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2007. He retired from playing in 2011 and began working as a quality control coach with the Ottawa Redblacks the next year.

Burris was named the offensive quality control coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars in January of 2018. Henry Burris is a former professional football quarterback. He played for the Chicago Bears, Berlin Thunder, and Saskatchewan Roughriders.

He is the all-time leading passer in CFL history. He was the recipient of the CFL's Most Outstanding Player Award in 2003. 

Burris is a three-time Grey Cup champion, most notably with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2007 and 2008. He is also a two-time CFL All-Star and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2007 East-West Game.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed him as a free agent in 2013. He retired from professional football in 2016. Burris is currently the offensive quality control coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Kilroy was a guard and tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles during the 1940s and 1950s. He was drafted by the Eagles in 1943 but did not play in the NFL until 1946.

Kilroy was a key part of the Eagles' teams that made the playoffs in each of his first six seasons in the league. He retired from playing in 1962 and served as the Eagles' head coach from 1969 to 1971.

Kilroy is considered one of the most successful head coaches in Eagles' history. Kilroy was inducted into the Eagles' Hall of Fame in 1978. He died in 2007 at the age of 86. He was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1960 to 1961.

He was the general manager of the Dallas Cowboys from 1965 to 1970. He was the head coach of the New England Patriots from 1971 to 2007. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1983. He is the father of former NFL player Steve Kilroy.

Steve Joachim is a retired American football quarterback who played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Buffalo Bills. Joachim was drafted by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 1974 NFL Draft.

Joachim played college football at the University of Pittsburgh. He was a two-time Pro Bowler and was the Eagles' starting quarterback from 1978 to 1980. Joachim was traded to the Bills in 1981 and played for them until 1988.

He was inducted into the Eagles' Hall of Fame in 2002. Joachim is a sports analyst for Fox Sports. He has two children and two grandchildren. Joachim lives in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Joachim was drafted by the Baltimore Colts in the 7th round of the 1975 NFL Draft.

He played for the Jets from 1976-1978. Joachim played college ball at Temple University. Joachim was a durable player, appearing in all 16 games in four of his five seasons in the NFL. He was known for his tough tackling and strong run defense. Joachim was released by the Jets in 1978.

He later played for the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League. Joachim later became a police officer in his hometown of Philadelphia. He passed away in 2015 at the age of 63.

Todd McNair is a running backs coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. McNair played football at Temple and became a professional player with the Kansas City Chiefs.

McNair is known for his work with running backs and has been a key part of several successful teams. McNair is a highly respected coach and has been involved in several successful NFL careers.

McNair is a former player ambassador for the NFL and is a vocal advocate for players' rights. McNair is a husband and father and lives in Tampa Bay with his wife and two children. 

McNair is a member of the American Football Coaches Association and the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame.

McNair is a respected member of the coaching community and is highly respected by his players. 

McNair played for the Cleveland Browns from 2001-2003 and was a part of the team's run to the NFL championship in 2003. McNair then spent four seasons as the running backs coach at USC from 2004-2010.

McNair was hired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the team's running backs coach in 2019. McNair has also coached at the running back position with the Baltimore Ravens (2011).

Henry Hynoski is a fullback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was undrafted in 2011 but has been with the team since. Hynoski attended Southern Columbia Area High School and played college football at Pittsburgh.

He is known for his speed and toughness. Hynoski has made a name for himself as a fullback, and is regularly used in short-yardage and goal-line situations. Hynoski is married and has two children. Henry Hynoski was drafted by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

He played college football at Iowa. Hynoski was a member of the Giants' Super Bowl XLVI team. He rushed for 21 yards on six carries and caught one pass for 133 yards in the Giants' 41-34 victory over the New England Patriots. Stan Drayton is in his eighth year as Temple's head football coach and his third season in the AAC. Drayton has led the Owls to a 3-9 record this year, the worst performance of his tenure.

Drayton's biggest accomplishment at Temple was leading the Owls to a 10-3 record in his first season as head coach. Drayton played running back for Allegheny from 1989-1992. Drayton was an assistant coach at Allegheny from 1993-2002.

Drayton was hired as Temple's head coach in December of 2002. Drayton's coaching career includes stops at Allegheny (RB), Cincinnati (Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks), and Temple (Head Coach). Drayton is married with three children.

Drayton is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. Stan Drayton was the head coach at Eastern Michigan from 1994 to 1996. He then took over at Penn where he stayed for three years before moving on to Villanova. 

Drayton had a brief stint with the Green Bay Packers as an offensive quality control coach before joining Mississippi State.

He had a two-year stint with the Florida Gators before joining the Tennessee Volunteers. After leaving Tennessee, Drayton was hired by Syracuse and led the Orange to a nine-win season in his second year. 

Drayton was hired by Ohio State in 2014 and led the Buckeyes to a Big Ten Championship and a College Football Playoff appearance.

He was released by Ohio State in December of 2017 and took a year off before joining the Texas Longhorns in February of 2018. Drayton is currently the head coach of Temple. Drayton has a record of 3-9 in his nine seasons as a head coach.

Isaac Moore was born in Dundee, Scotland in 1867. Moore played for Dundee, Rangers, and Hibernian during his career. Moore was a left half and forward, and he helped his teams to win the Scottish League Championship in 1902 and 1903.

Moore also won two Scottish Cups with Rangers. Moore retired from playing in 1906. Moore later served as manager of Hibernian and Rangers. Moore died in 1954 at the age of 87. Isaac Moore was born in Dundee in 1876 and started his career with Dundee Our Boys before joining Lincoln City.

He went on to make 222 appearances for the club and scored 103 goals. After leaving Lincoln City, Moore played for Burton Wanderers, Swindon Town and Aston Villa before finishing his career with Newcastle West End. 

Moore was a prolific goalscorer and is considered one of the best strikers to have played in the Football League.

He is also one of only three players to have scored in three different clubs' top divisions. Moore died in 1967 and is now considered one of the greatest strikers in Lincoln City's history.

Hennessy was a three-year starter at Temple and was a second-team All-American as a senior. He was drafted in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons.

Hennessy has started all 32 games for the Falcons over the last two seasons. He is considered one of the best centers in the NFL and is a key part of the Falcons' offense. Hennessy is married and has a one-year-old son.

Hennessy is from Nyack, New York and is a member of the Don Bosco Prep football team's hall of fame. Hennessy is a passionate athlete and enjoys playing basketball and football. 

Hennessy is an ambassador for the Atlanta Falcons' community outreach program and has participated in several events.

Hennessy is a hard worker and is always looking to improve his game. Hennessy was one of the most highly-touted recruits in the nation when he signed with the Falcons in 2020. He made an immediate impact, starting all four games he appeared in as a rookie and recording 66 tackles, one sack and two interceptions.

Hennessy continued to make an impact in his second season, recording a career-high 117 tackles, two sacks and one interception. In his third season, Hennessy was voted to the All-AAC Second 

Team and was also named to the All-Rookie Team. Hennessy has continued to be one of the top defenders in the league, recording 102 tackles, one sack and two interceptions in his fourth season.

Hennessy has shown that he can be a leader on and off the field, having been voted captain of the Falcons in 2019.

Chapelle Russell was born on January 20, 1997, in Lakewood Township, New Jersey. At Temple, Russell played linebacker for the Owls. In 2020, Russell was selected in the seventh round of the NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

As of September 2019, Russell has played in five games for the Steelers. Russell is considered to be a promising linebacker prospect.

Pierce signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2015, but was released shortly after. Pierce has since retired from the NFL. Bernard Pierce is a 32-year-old running back who played for the Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Bernard Pierce was drafted by the New York Jets in the 4th round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Miami. 

Pierce was a two-time All-American and won the 2009 MAC Freshman of the Year award. Pierce has spent time with the Jets (2012-2014), Denver Broncos (2015) and Baltimore Ravens (2016).

Tim Riordan is a former quarterback who played in the NFL. He played for the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and the Oakland Raiders. Riordan was inducted into the Cleveland Browns Ring of Honor in 2001.

Riordan was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2007, but he recovered and is now cancer-free. Riordan is a motivational speaker and has written a book about his life called "Quarterback: A Life Lessons from the NFL".

Riordan is currently the quarterbacks coach for the Temple Owls. Tim Riordan was drafted by the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars in the 1984 NFL Draft and played for them for two seasons. Riordan then went on to play for the New Orleans Saints for one season.

Riordan retired from the NFL in 1987. Tim Riordan was a linebacker who played for the Stars and Saints. Riordan finished his career with 183 tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions. After retiring from the NFL, Riordan went on to have a successful career in real estate.

Tim Riordan is a member of the NFL Hall of Fame. Tim Riordan is currently the vice president of football operations for the Saints.

33. Zachary Dixon

Zachary Dixon is a singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, California. Dixon has released two studio albums, both of which reached the Top 40 on the US Billboard 200.

Dixon has also released two singles, both of which charted in the Top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Dixon has received several awards and nominations, including a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist.

In addition to his music career, Dixon is also a writer and producer. Dixon was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 4, 1988. Dixon began his musical career as a singer and songwriter. Dixon released his first album, "The Blue Room", in 2008.

The album reached the Top 40 on the US Billboard 200 and received positive reviews from critics. Dixon released his second album, "The Painted Veil", in 2011. The album also reached the Top 40 on the US Billboard 200 and received positive reviews from critics.

Dixon released his third album, "The Outsiders", in 2014. The album reached the Top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and received positive reviews from critics. Dixon was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Dixon is currently working on his fourth album.

Nick Mike-Mayer was born on March 1, 1950 in Bologna, Italy. He played college football at Temple and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the 1973 NFL Draft.

He played for the Falcons (1973-1977) and the Philadelphia Eagles (1977-1978) before joining the Buffalo Bills (1979-1982). He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1978 and 1979 and was an All-Pro in 1978.

He retired from the NFL in 1982. Nick Mike-Mayer is a kicker and was inducted into the Temple Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001. He has since worked as a television broadcaster and is currently the color commentator for the Philadelphia Eagles' preseason games.

Nick Mike-Mayer is married and has two children. Nick Mike-Mayer was a standout kicker and punter in the NFL for over a decade. He played for the San Antonio Gunslingers, Chicago Bruisers, and Los Angeles Cobras. He was a three-time Pro Bowler and first-team All-Arena selection.

Tre' Johnson was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the second round of the 1994 NFL Draft. He played for the Redskins for seven seasons, before joining the Baltimore Ravens in 2001.

Johnson played in 146 games over eleven seasons, starting seventy-seven of them. He was a two-time Pro Bowler and was voted to the Redskins' All-Decade Team in the 2000s. 

Johnson is a two-time member of the Ravens' All-Decade Team, and he was voted to the NFL Alumni Association's All-Decade Team in 2009.

Johnson was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2007, but he has since recovered. He is currently a color commentator for the Ravens' preseason games. Johnson and his wife, Stephanie, have two children. 

He was a second-team All-Pro in 1999 and a Pro Bowler in 1999. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played for the Washington Redskins from 2002-2005. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons in 2006 and played for them until he was released in 2009.

He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010 and played for them until he retired in 2011. He played in 112 games in his NFL career and had 4 fumble recoveries. He is currently a color commentator for the Cleveland Browns.

Mike Jarmoluk was a defensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1950 to 1953. He later played for the Baltimore Colts and the Washington Redskins.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. He died in 2004 at the age of 82. Jarmoluk was a member of the United States Army during World War II.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1922. Jarmoluk attended high school in Frankford, Philadelphia. He played college football at Temple. Jarmoluk was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the eighth round of the 1950 NFL Draft.

He played for the Eagles from 1950 to 1953 and the Baltimore Colts from 1954 to 1955. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 1955 NFL Draft. He played for the Redskins from 1955 to 1959. Jarmoluk was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985.

37. Chuck Drulis

Career

Chuck Drulis was a key part of the St. Louis Cardinals' dynasty in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a three-time All-Star and led the Cardinals to the World Series in 1955 and 1959.

He was also a member of the National League All-Star Team in 1955 and 1959. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971. He coached the Cardinals from 1958 to 1964.

He died in 1972 at the age of 54. He was the father of Cardinals Hall of Famer and former manager Whitey Herzog. Drulis was born in Girardville, Pennsylvania in 1918. He played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, and St.

Louis Cardinals. Chuck Drulis, a former NFL head coach, led the Green Bay Packers to a 2-0 record in his debut season with the team in 1950. 

Drulis coached the Eagles from 1961-63, compiling a record of 20-36. After leaving Philadelphia, Drulis spent four seasons with the Cardinals, amassing a record of 2-14.

Drulis is most notable for his time as the head coach of the Bears, where he led the team to a 9-23 record over three seasons. Drulis passed away in 2002 at the age of 85.

38. Ed Kolman

Kolman played in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1940 to 1948. Kolman was inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame in 1978. Kolman died on July 31, 1985. Kolman played fullback and linebacker for the Bears and Giants.

Kolman was a three-time Pro Bowler and was inducted into the Giants' Ring of Honor in 1997. Kolman was also a valuable contributor on special teams. Kolman retired after the 1947 season. Kolman died in 2003 at the age of 83.

39. Sam Davis

Sam Davis was a guard who starred at Northwestern before playing in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, and Milwaukee Bucks. Davis was a durable player who was known for his strong defense.

He played in 10 NBA seasons and was a part of the 76ers' 1977 championship team. Davis passed away on September 10, 2019, at the age of 75. Sam Davis was a 4-time Super Bowl champion and one of the most successful players in Steelers history.

Davis was a dominant force at linebacker and helped the Steelers win four championships in the 1970s. Davis was a key member of the Steelers' 50th anniversary team and is a member of the Steelers Hall of Honor. Davis is a two-time Pro Bowler and was inducted into the Steelers Hall of Fame in 2006.

Davis is a member of the NFL's 75th Anniversary All-Time Team and is a member of the NFLPA's 75th Anniversary Team. Davis is a member of the NFL's 40th Anniversary All-Time Team. 

Davis was a standout at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a two-time All-American. Davis is currently a color analyst for the Steelers' radio broadcasts.

Davis is a highly respected member of the community and is a popular guest speaker at events.

Final Words

The Temple Owls football team is a proud member of the American Athletic Conference, and they have produced some of the best players in the conference over the years.

Some of the best players in Temple Owls history include All-Americans Curtis Conway and Andre Davis, as well as future NFL players such as Trent Edwards and Bryce Brown.
