Bruce Smith is a dominant defensive end who played in the NFL for over 20 years. He was twice named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and also won 11 Pro Bowls.

A two-time forced fumble co-leader, Bruce Smith is one of the best defenders to ever play in the NFL. Bruce Smith was a dominant defensive lineman in the NFL for many years.

He made an impact on both the Bills and Buffalo fans with his play on the field. His 200 sacks are a record that will likely never be broken. Smith also had 43 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions, which shows just how talented he was as a defender.

He is now retired from football but still holds several franchise records that will always be remembered by Bills fans.

Shayne Graham is a former NFL kicker. Shayne Graham started his career with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2003. He spent nine seasons with the team before being traded to Baltimore Ravens in 2010.

In 2011, he was signed by the Miami Dolphins and played for them until 2013 when he retired from professional football due to injury. After retiring from professional football, Shayne Graham became an ambassador for Special Olympics of Virginia and North Carolina as well as The Home Depot.

On December 9th, 2017, Shayne Graham announced his retirement after 18 years of playing professional football making him one of the longest-serving kickers in league history. Shayne Graham is a former NFL kicker who played for the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, and Pittsburgh Steelers. 

Shayne Graham was one of the most accurate kickers in league history, making 85% of his field goals over his career. Shayne Graham retired from professional football in 2015 after playing for the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons. Shayne Graham now works as a special teams coordinator for Central Michigan University.

Michael Vick will always be remembered for his time with Atlanta Falcons, where he led the team to its first playoff appearance in over 20 years Michael Vick was a highly successful quarterback in the NFL, winning four Pro Bowls and being named MVP of the 2006 game.

However, his career came to an abrupt end after he was convicted of receiving illegal payments from dogfighting promoters. After serving two years in prison, Vick is now trying his hand at coaching, having been appointed as the head coach of Atlanta Legends in 2019.

Where he resides with his family Freeman is one of the most decorated players in NFL history, with a Super Bowl championship and first-team All-Pro honors to his name.

Freeman spent his entire career with the Green Bay Packers, where he was a mainstay on offense for nearly 10 seasons. After leaving the Packers in 2002, Freeman had a successful career as a receiver with three different teams over six years before retiring at age 38 in 2007.

Brown was drafted by the Houston Texans in 2008 and spent eight seasons with the team before signing with the Seattle Seahawks in 2018. Brown is a veteran of both the NFL and college football, having played for Virginia Tech from 2003 to 2007.

He has amassed over 100 tackles and 10 sacks during his career. In addition to playing on offense, Brown also serves as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Virginia Tech. Brown is one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL and has been a key part of Seattle's success over the past few seasons.

He was an All-Pro selection in 2012 and 2018, as well as being named to four Pro Bowls during that time. Brown is a big guy at 6'5", and 315 pounds, but he moves extremely well for someone his size, making him difficult to block even for some of the most physical defenders in the league. 

The Seahawks will be hoping that Brown can maintain his level of play into his thirties after signing a three-year deal extension earlier this year.

Brown may not have had quite such an illustrious career if it wasn't for injuries elsewhere on Seattle's roster throughout much of his tenure with the team so far - a testament to just how important he has proven to be over time.

He was born and raised in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. He attended Owen J. Roberts High School where he starred as a quarterback and wide receiver. After graduating from high school, Strock enrolled at Virginia Tech where he played for the Hokies from 1973 to 1977.

In 1978, Strock was drafted by the Miami Dolphins but only played one season with them before being traded to Cleveland Browns in 1988. 

He spent his final ten seasons playing with the Indianapolis Colts before retiring in 1989 after leading both teams to playoff appearances during that time period.

Don Strock is currently a football analyst for ESPN Radio and Fox Sports 1 networks. In 2002 , Don was inducted into the Virginia Tech Athletics Hall of Fame Don Strock is the all-time winningest coach in Miami Hooters history. 

He was also a head coach for the Massachusetts Marauders and Rhein Fire, both of which were National Football League (NFL) teams.

After coaching at Florida International University, he served as offensive coordinator for Baltimore Ravens from 1996 to 1998 before returning to FIU as their head coach in 2002. 

In 2006, he left FIU to take over as quarterbacks coach with the NFL's Baltimore Ravens where he remained until his retirement in 2010 after leading the team to two Super Bowl Championships (VI & VII).

8. Christian Darrisaw

Christian Darrisaw was born on June 2, 1999, in Petersburg, Virginia. He attended Riverdale Baptist High School before playing college football at Virginia Tech from 2018 to 2020.

In 2021, Christian Darrisaw was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the NFL Draft and he started playing for them from Week 1 of that season onwards. 

Christian Darrisaw is a versatile defensive back who has played both cornerback and safety for the Minnesota Vikings.

He was a first-team All-ACC selection in 2020 and helped lead his team to an ACC championship game appearance. 

Christian Darrisaw has started all 20 of his NFL games so far, recording 18 total tackles and one interception. Christian Darrisaw's versatility on defense makes him an important part of the Viking’s roster moving forward.

Chancellor is known for his hard hits, especially against receivers in the red zone. He has made two Pro Bowls and four All-Pro teams during his time with Seattle. In 2017, Kam Chancellor was placed on injured reserve after suffering a neck injury in Week 10 against Carolina Panthers.

Kam Chancellor will turn 35 years old this year and it's possible that he could retire at the end of the 2017 season Kam Chancellor is a veteran safety for the Seattle Seahawks and was key in their victory in Super Bowl XLVIII. 

He has been named to multiple All-Pro teams and led the NFL with 12 interceptions in 2015.

10. Caleb Farley

Caleb Farley was born in 1998, making him one of the youngest players in the NFL. He attended Maiden High School in North Carolina and played cornerback for the school's football team.

In his two years at Virginia Tech, he recorded 118 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 17 pass breakups. The Tennessee Titans selected Farley with their first-round pick (22nd overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft.

He is expected to start from day one as a rookie corner for the Titans and contribute on defense next season Caleb Farley is a young linebacker who had a very impressive season for the Tennessee Titans in 2020.

He was named to the First-team ACC and led the team with 144 tackles, which was second-best on the squad. Caleb has good size at 6'1" and 215lbs and he uses his body well to read plays before making an impact on them.

His tackling technique is excellent as he delivers punishing blows to ball carriers while also being able to avoid getting taken down himself. 

Caleb will need to work on his coverage skills if he wants to become a long-term starter in the NFL, but his aggression off of the edge should make him difficult for opposing offenses to stop once he gets into their backfield.

With some additional development, Caleb has all of the tools necessary to be one of the top linebackers in this league for many years yet to come.

Tyrod Taylor is a career backup quarterback who has played for three NFL teams in the past five seasons. After spending time with the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills, Taylor signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2018.

In his two seasons as a starter with Cleveland, he led the team to consecutive 9–7 records. However, he was traded to the Los Angeles Chargers in 2019 before playing any games for them this season. 

Despite being benched twice during his stint with LAC, Tyrod remains one of the most popular players on their roster and is still looking to help lead them back to championship contention.

Tyrod Taylor had a resurgent season in 2018, playing under new head coach Sean McVay. The 28-year old passed for 3,000 yards and 23 touchdowns while also rushing for another 1,010 yards and six scores. 

He was originally drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2011 and spent four years with them before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2015 where he played until joining the Texans this past offseason.

In Houston Tyrod is reunited with his former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels who led him to success as quarterback of the Patriots from 2013-16.

Kevin Jones had a successful career with the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. He was drafted by the Lions in the 2004 NFL Draft and played for them from 2004-2007.

He then signed with the Bears in 2008 and played for them until 2009. Jones had a very successful career with Detroit, recording over 1000 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

He also had a good career with the Bears, recording over 1000 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns. Jones announced his retirement from the NFL in 2009. He now works as a football analyst for ESPN.

Kevin Jones is a very successful running back and has had a successful career in the NFL. Kevin Jones was a consensus first-team All-American as a junior in 2003 and was drafted in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He spent four seasons with the Steelers before signing with the Baltimore Ravens in 2007. Jones was traded to the New York Giants in 2010 and played his final season with the team in 2011. Jones was a two-time All-Pro and was a two-time Pro Bowler.

He retired after the 2011 season and is currently an assistant coach with the Ravens.

David Wilson was born in Danville, Virginia in 1991. Wilson attended Danville George Washington High School. He played college football at Virginia Tech from 2009 to 2011.

Wilson was drafted by the New York Giants in the 2012 NFL Draft. He played for the Giants from 2012 to 2013. Wilson was released by the Giants in 2013. Wilson signed with the San Diego Chargers in 2014.

He was released by the Chargers in 2016. Wilson signed with the New Orleans Saints in 2017. David Wilson was one of the most highly-rated prospects in the NFL when he was drafted in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Wilson quickly showed that he had the ability to be a productive player in the NFL, leading the league in kickoff return yards in 2012. Wilson was also a key player on the ACC champion Clemson Tigers, helping them to a ACC Championship and a berth in the BCS Championship Game.

DeAngelo Hall is a veteran defensive back who has played for the Washington Redskins since 2008. Hall has played in a total of 158 games, making him one of the longer-tenured players in the NFL.

Macho Harris was a standout safety for Virginia Tech and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009. Harris played in nine games for the Eagles and recorded six tackles.

He was released by the Eagles in December of that year and signed with the San Diego Chargers. Harris spent the 2010 season with San Diego and then signed with the Detroit Lions in 2011.

He was released by the Lions in September of that year and signed with the Chicago Bears. Harris spent the entire 2012 season with the Bears and then signed with the Houston Texans in 2013.

He was released by the Texans in August of that year and signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Harris played in 12 games for the Cowboys and recorded nine tackles. He was released by the Cowboys in December of that year and signed with the New Orleans Saints.

Xavier Adibi is a defensive analyst for the Virginia Tech Hokies. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and two-time First-Team All-Pro with the Houston Texans.

Adibi was drafted 118th overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2008 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the Texans before joining the Vikings in 2011.

In 2017, Adibi was diagnosed with ALS, a neurodegenerative disease. He announced his retirement from football in December of that year. Xavier Adibi is a father of two.

He was a three-time All-American and won the Heisman Trophy in 1965. Dale was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 1967 NFL Draft and went on to win three Super Bowls with the team. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1986. André Davis was a wide receiver and kick returner who played for the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills in the NFL. Davis was a two-time All-Pro and was a part of the Browns' 2002 and 2004 championship teams.

George Preas was a defensive end and guard for the Virginia Tech Hokies. He was a 3-time All-American and won the Heisman Trophy in 1955. Preas was drafted by the Baltimore Colts in the 1955 NFL Draft, but he chose to sign with the Cleveland Browns instead.

He played for the Browns from 1955-1957 and then spent time with the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, and Detroit Lions. Preas was inducted into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 1995. He died of a heart attack on February 24, 2007 at the age of 73.

George Preas was a five-time NFL champion with the Baltimore Colts and is one of only two players in league history to win a championship in each division. George Preas was a three-time Second-team All-Pro and was inducted into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 1985.

Eric Green was selected in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He would play for the Cardinals for three seasons before being traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2009.

After spending the 2009 season with the Dolphins, Green was signed by the San Francisco 49ers. He would play for the 49ers for two seasons before being released in 2011. Green would eventually sign with the Cleveland Browns, where he would play for two seasons before being released in 2014.
