Jalen Pitre is a safety for the Houston Texans and was drafted in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Jalen played college football at Baylor, where he was a two-time All-American and won numerous awards, including the Butkus Award as the nation's best linebacker.

He has appeared in 48 games for the Texans over three seasons, making 33 starts and averaging 9 tackles per game. Pitre is married to his high school sweetheart, Kailyn Lowry, with whom he has one child together (a son). 

Jalen Pitre was one of the most dominant defenders in college football during his two seasons at Oklahoma. He was a consensus first-team All-American and won Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year honors as a junior in 2021. 

The 6'1", 229-pounder has already made an impact with the Dallas Cowboys, starting all 16 games he’s played since being drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Pitre is known for his elite athleticism, which helped him rack up 139 total tackles, 1 sack, 5 interceptions and 1 forced fumble over his two seasons at OU.

NRL veteran Jason Taumalolo is now Pitre's biggest role model on and off the field; both players share Native Hawaiian heritage. In addition to playing defense for Dallas, Pitre also starred for Team USA at this year’s World Cup of Rugby where he led all tacklers with 20 stops including 2 tries (7 points).

Xavien Howard was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He has played for both the Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens during his career to date.

Howard is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the league and has been a key part of several successful teams throughout his tenure thus far. 

His aggressive play on defense often forces opposing quarterbacks to make difficult throws, which he usually manages to intercept or break up into long gains for his team's offense.

Howard is married with two young children and enjoys spending time outdoors playing sports as well as cooking meals for family and friends back at home. Xavien Howard is a versatile defensive back who has been able to play both cornerback and safety in the NFL. 

In 2018, he was named to his first-ever Pro Bowl after recording four interceptions and 77 pass deflections.

He also earned Second-team All-Pro honors in 2020 and was selected to the 2019 Pro Bowl but did not participate due to injury. Howard originally played college football at Florida State before being drafted by the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

3. Denzel Mims

Denzel Mims was born on October 10, 1997 in Daingerfield, Texas. He attended Baylor for four years and played there as a wide receiver from 2016 to 2019.

Denzel entered the 2020 NFL Draft and was selected by the New York Jets in the second round with the 59th overall pick. In his rookie season, he appeared in all 16 games and caught seven passes for 78 yards and one touchdown while also rushing three times for 21 yards.

In 2021, Denzel had an even better performance with 55 receptions for 825 yards (an average of 17 catches per game) along with nine touchdowns - both career highs. As of early May 2022, Denkel has already amassed 97 receptions for 1,435 yards (an amazing 23 catch-per-game average.) with 12 touchdowns - making him one of the most lethal receivers in the league at this point.

Denzel Mims is a 2020 NFL draft prospect from Oklahoma who caught 34 passes for 570 yards and five touchdowns in his first season with the New York Jets. Denzel Mims was a standout player for the Sooners, catching 144 passes for 2,541 yards and 19 touchdowns over three seasons. 

The 6’0″ receiver has good speed and athleticism, which make him dangerous downfield. Denzel Mims could be a valuable addition to the Jet's offense next season; he will need to work on his route running but has all the tools to be successful in the NFL.

Look for Denzel Mims to develop into one of the top receivers in the league over time; he has everything it takes to become an elite player at this level.

Dewanna Bonner is a guard/small forward who played for the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA. She was drafted fifth overall by the Mercury in 2009 and has since retired from playing professionally.

Bonner attended Auburn University where she played with the Tigers from 2005-2009, averaging 10 points per game as a senior in 2009. 

After her time at college, Bonner joined the WNBA and has been an important player on several teams over her career including Phoenix, Brno (Basketbalový Klub Brno) and Rivas (Baloncesto Rivas).

Bonner was drafted in the first round of the 2009 WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury. Bonner won two championships with the Phoenix Mercury (2009, 2014) and also played for the Los Angeles Sparks (2012-2016). 

In 2017, Bonner signed with USK Prague and helped them win a Czech title that year. In 2018, Bonner joined Shandong Six Stars and helped them reach the Chinese Women’s Division I Basketball Championship Finals where they lost to Jiangsu Suning Ladies 4-1.

In 2019, Bonner rejoined Dynamo Kursk of Russia for their inaugural season in EuroLeague Women and led her team to a playoff berth as well as winning Russian Cup MVP honors along the way while averaging 16 points per game throughout the regular season.

She also won an All-EuroLeague Second Team selection at seasons end. DeWanna is currently playing for Connecticut Sun in 2020/21 NBA Season where she has averaged 18ppg on 41% shooting from downtown thus far this year.

Wright was originally a Baylor player, but transferred to Pittsburg after being kicked off of the team. Wright had an impressive rookie season with Tennessee in 2012, catching 57 passes for 810 yards and four touchdowns.

The next two years were not as good for Wright; he caught only 38 balls for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 2013 and 2014 combined. In 2015, Wright started to find his form again with 79 catches for 1,077 yards and six touchdowns over 12 games played.

After leaving Chicago this past offseason, it is still unclear what the future holds for Kendall Wright Wright was a three-time first-team All-American at Baylor.

He finished his career with 339 receptions for 3,858 yards and 19 touchdowns. Wright entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2011 with the Arizona Cardinals and played there for four seasons before joining the Toronto Argonauts in 2019.

6. Adam Flagler

Adam Flagler is a shooting guard for the Baylor Bears in the Big 12 Conference. He was born on December 1, 1999 in Duluth, Georgia and attended high school at Duluth.

Flagler has played basketball for most of his life and starred at Duchy High School before attending college at Baylor. 

In his freshman year he averaged 8 points per game while playing mostly off the bench as a reserve shooting guard for the Bears team that made it to the NCAA Tournament where they lost to Kansas State in OT).

As a sophomore, he became more consistent with averages of 15-16 points per game which helped lead Baylor to their first ever Big 12 Championship (although they were later disqualified due to academic violations). 

This season, as a junior, Flagler has improved even further averaging 20 points per game along with 4 assists and 3 rebounds over 38 minutes of playtime.

Keyonte George is a shooting guard for the Baylor Bears. He was born on November 8, 2003 in Lewisville, Texas and played high school basketball at Lewisville.

George attended iSchool of Lewisville before moving to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida as a junior in 2018-19. In his two seasons with IMG Academy, George averaged 16 points per game and 4 assists per game while leading the team to back-to-back national championships (2019–20 season; 2020–21 season).

As a senior at Baylor in 2019-20, he led the Big 12 Conference with an average of 19 points per game and was named first team All Big 12 Conference as well as being nominated for both the Naismith College Player of the Year Award and John Roper Award. 

On June 25th 2019, George declared himself eligible for the NBA draft following his sophomore year at Baylor which will be held on June 21st 2020.

MaCio Teague is an American shooting guard who played college basketball for Baylor and in the German Basketball Bundesliga for EWE Baskets Oldenburg. In April 2019, Teague was named the Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year.

Teague was born on June 11, 1997 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Teague played high school basketball for Summit Country Day and Walnut Hills. Teague played college basketball for Baylor and in the German Basketball Bundesliga for EWE Baskets Oldenburg.

Teague was named the Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year in April 2019. Teague is a free agent and is currently playing in the German Basketball Bundesliga. MaCio Teague is a 2021 draft prospect who played for Baylor in 2019-2021.

He is a versatile player who can play both point guard and shooting guard. He is a two-time All-Big South honoree. Teague is considered a potential late first-round draft pick. He is currently playing for the Baskets Oldenburg in the German Bundesliga.

Rico Gathers played college football at Baylor and was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Gathers was originally signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2016.

Gathers has appeared in 33 games over two seasons with the Cowboys, recording nine receptions for 127 yards and one touchdown. Gathers was waived by the Cowboys on September 1, 2018. Gathers was re-signed to the Cowboys' practice squad on September 5, 2018.

Gathers was promoted to the active roster on December 24, 2018. Gathers appeared in one game with the Cowboys in 2018, recording one reception for nine yards. Gathers was released by the Cowboys on October 1, 2019 Gathers is currently a free agent. 

Rico Gathers was a standout player for the University of Texas and was a first-team All-Big 12 selection in 2015 and 2016.

He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft and made an immediate impact as a rookie. Gathers was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team and led the Browns in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
