Ibrahim Sekagya is a 42-year-old centre back who has played for Kampala City Council and Atlético de Rafaela in his senior career. Sekagya has been a regular for Uganda at international level, making 10 appearances for the national team between 1997 and 2001.

David Obua started his senior career at Police FC. He moved to Maroons FC in 2009 and has been an assistant manager since then. David Obua is a left back and winger.

Herbert Bockhorn was born in Kampala, Uganda in 1995, and raised in Melsdorf. Bockhorn started his career at TSV Melsdorf, and made his professional debut in the Bundesliga with 1.

Mustafa Kizza is a left-back who has played for Team Uganda since the age of 16. Kizza has represented Uganda at the U-17, U-20, and U-23 levels. In February 2018, Kizza was called up to the Uganda national team for a 2018 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan.

Kizza made his international debut in the match, coming on as a substitute in the 78th minute. Kizza was part of the Uganda squad that competed at the 2018 Africa Cup of Nations. 

Uganda were eliminated in the group stages of the tournament. Kizza has also spent time with clubs in the Ugandan Premier League, including Entebbe and Mulago.

Kizza is currently a free agent, having left Mulago at the end of the 2017 season. On 10 January 2019, Kizza announced his retirement from professional football. Kizza has been described as a "talented left-back" who is "capable of making an impact on the pitch."

Martin Kayongo-Mutumba was born in 1985 in Solna, Sweden. He started his youth career with Vasalunds IF in 1990. He then moved to AIK in 1998, where he played for two seasons.

These three players have all represented their country at the highest level, and have all demonstrated their skills on the pitch. Kizza Besigye is the most decorated player in Uganda’s history, with five Premier League titles, two League Cup titles, and one Africa Cup of Nations title to his name.

Stephen Kiprotich is also a decorated player, with two Premier League titles and one League Cup title to his name. Joseph Kony is the most notorious player in Uganda’s history, and is infamous for his involvement in the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), a rebel group that has terrorized Uganda for over two decades.

However, even without Kony, Uganda would still be a formidable footballing nation. These three players are just a few of the best players to ever play for Uganda, and they are sure to leave their mark on the history of the sport.
