Obi Toppin is an American power forward who played collegiately at Melbourne Central Catholic and Ossining. He was drafted by the New York Knicks in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft, and made his professional debut with the team in November 2018.

In May 2019, he recorded a triple-double with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists during a victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. 

At 23 years old, Toppin is one of youngest players to ever record a triple-double in an NBA game; he was also only third player to achieve this feat since 1985 (after Karl Malone and Shaquille O'Neal).

In July 2020, he won gold medal as part of USA Men's National Team at FIBA World Cup Qualifier tournament in Belgrade, Serbia. He registered 20 points (8 field goals), 11 rebounds (+6), 7 blocks against Croatia, helping USA win 80–72 after trailing 63–60 at halftime.

Obi Toppin is a 2020 NBA draft pick who played college basketball at Dayton.

Obi Toppin won the National College Player of the Year award in 2020 and was also named to the First-team All-American squad that year. Obi Toppin has appeared in two Atlantic 10 championships with Dayton and won both titles in 2019 and 2020. 

In addition, he has been selected to participate in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest twice – winning it on his first attempt back in 2022. Overall, Obi Toppin looks set for a successful professional career, with plenty of accolades already under his belt from collegiate play alone.

Jalen Crutcher is a 23-year-old point guard who played college basketball at Ridgeway. He was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round of the 2019 NBA draft, but he opted to sign with their G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm.

In his rookie season with Greensboro, Crutcher averaged 12 points and five assists per game. He was named to both the G League All-Star Game and Rising Stars Challenge roster. Crutcher has also represented Team USA at various international tournaments, including FIBA U19 World Cup (2017) and U20 European Championships (2018).

Jim Paxson was a shooting guard and small forward who played in the NBA for 11 seasons. He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in 1979 and spent his entire career with them, winning two championship rings.

In 1990, he retired from playing basketball to focus on his coaching career with the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves. Jim Paxson is currently an assistant coach for the Orlando Magic of the NBA. Paxson played 19 seasons in the NBA, all with the Portland Trail Blazers.

He won two All-Star games and was a Second Team All-NBA player. Paxson retired after the 2003 season and has since worked as an analyst for Fox Sports Northwest. Paxson is married to television personality Lisa Ling and they have three children together. 

In 2012, Paxson published his memoir entitled "Just Give Me The Ball: My Life Inside The NBA" which tells his story from childhood through his career in the league.

Devon Scott is a 28-year old power forward/center who played college basketball for Dayton. He was not drafted by an NBA team, but he has since signed with the KBL's Daegu Pegasus.

Devon Scott is 6'9" tall and weighs 225 pounds. He plays primarily as a center, but can also play power forward in smaller lineups. 

Devon Scott has been playing professional basketball for two years now and has had some success in Korea, averaging 14 points and eight rebounds per game this season with the Pegasus.

In 2016, Devon Scott participated in the NBA draft but was not selected anywhere due to his age (he would have been 23 at the time) and lack of experience overseas in Europe or Asia Minor leagues prior to that year's KBL season starting up again later that summer.

Devon Scott will likely continue playing professional basketball overseas for another year or two before trying to make an impact on an American team either domestically or internationally.

Malachi Smith is a shooting guard for the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He was born on December 6th, 1999, in Evansville, Indiana. Smith attended Belleville East and Belleville West high schools.

As a junior at Belleville West, Smith averaged 19.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. As a senior at Belleville East, Smith averaged 24.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game.

Smith was named to the All-West Central Region first team as a senior. Smith was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 44th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft. In March of 2018, Smith signed a multi-year contract with the 76ers.

Smith made his NBA debut on October 17th, 2018 against the Boston Celtics. Smith has played in 30 games for the 76ers, averaging 4.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.

Chris Johnson is a 32-year-old small forward and shooting guard who has played in the Israeli Premier League, the NBA, and the Euroleague. Johnson attended Brookhaven High School in Columbus, Ohio and played college basketball for Dayton.

He was undrafted in the 2012 NBA draft but was signed by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA D-League. Johnson joined the Memphis Grizzlies for the 2013–14 season. He then moved to the Hapoel Holon of the Israeli Premier League for the 2014–15 season.

Johnson has averaged 10.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in his career. He is a two-time Israeli Premier League champion and a two-time Euroleague champion. Johnson is a member of the USA national team. He has played in the 2013 World Championships and the 2016 Olympics.

Wright was drafted in the 2011 NBA draft, but did not sign with an NBA team. He played for the Dakota Wizards for two seasons. In 2014, Wright signed with the Maine Red Claws.

He was named to the All-Star team in his first season with the team. Wright played for the Golden State Warriors from 2012 to 2014. He averaged 8.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game over that time.

Wright signed with the Maccabi Rishon LeZion in 2019. He is averaging 24.3 points and 13.3 rebounds per game for the team. Wright played college basketball at Maccabi Rishon LeZion in Israel before being drafted in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks.

Wright has played for several teams in the NBA Development League, most notably with the Oklahoma City Blue. Wright has also played for the Israeli national team and was a part of the team that won the 2016 Israeli League Championship. 

Wright is known for his defensive ability, and has been named to both the NBA D-League All-Defensive Second Team and the NBA D-League All-Star team. Wright is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Negele Knight was a point guard in the NBA for a decade. Knight was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the 1990 draft. He played for the Suns for six seasons before being traded to the Chicago Bulls.

Knight then spent two seasons with the Bulls before being traded to the Detroit Pistons. Knight spent the final two seasons of his career with the Pistons. Knight retired from the NBA in 2002. Knight has since worked as a broadcaster for the Suns.

Knight is married and has two children. Knight is a Detroit native. Knight was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on October 1, 1973. 

Knight was the second overall pick in the 1993 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs. Knight played for the Spurs for six seasons before being traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in 1998.

Knight spent two seasons with the Trail Blazers before being traded to the Toronto Raptors in 2001. Knight played for the Raptors for two seasons before retiring in 2002. 

Knight was a two-time All-Star and a member of the South African national team. Knight is currently the head coach of the South African national team. Knight has a son, Max, and a daughter, Mbali. Knight is a businessman and investor.

9. DaRon Holmes II

Holmes attended Millennium High School in Goodyear, Arizona. He was a two-time All-State selection in high school. He then played two seasons at Butler before transferring to Dayton.

He has played in 119 games for Dayton, recording 22.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Holmes was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team in 2018. He was also named to the 2018-19 Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team.

Holmes is set to enter his senior season at Dayton in 2022. He has been a key player for the Flyers over the past few seasons, and is expected to be a key player for them in the future. Holmes is a versatile player who can play both power forward and center.

DaRon Holmes II played basketball for Montverde Academy in Florida. He was a Second-team All-Atlantic 10 player in his final season with the school. Holmes was drafted in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons. He has since played for the Dayton Flyers in the Atlantic 10.

Holmes has averaged 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in his career. Holmes is also a three-time recipient of the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year award. Holmes is currently a senior on the Dayton Flyers. Holmes has announced that he will be leaving Dayton after his senior season to play professional basketball in Europe.

Holmes is a highly-touted prospect who is expected to have a successful career in the NBA.

Roberts was a standout player at St. John's High School in Toledo, Ohio. He was a two-time All-Ohio selection and a first-team all-state honoree. Roberts played college basketball at Dayton, where he was a two-time Division I All-American.

Roberts was drafted by the New Orleans Hornets in the 2008 NBA draft but did not play in the league. He played in the NBA for the Charlotte Hornets (2014-15), Pelicans (2014-15), and Brooklyn Nets (2015-16). Roberts has played in the NBA for eight seasons and is a three-time All-Star.

He is a Point Guard and has averaged 17.5 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game. Roberts is a member of the United States national team and played in the 2016 Rio Olympics. He averaged 11.4 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game in the tournament. Roberts is married and has two sons.

He is currently a free agent and is likely to retire after the 2019-20 season. Roberts is a philanthropist and has donated millions of dollars to charities. He has also hosted fundraisers for various charities. 

Roberts is a member of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) and is a co-founder of the Players Coalition, which is a group of NBA players that advocate for social justice issues.

Grant has led Dayton to two Atlantic 10 Conference championships and an Elite Eight appearance. Grant is known for his tough coaching style and for his ability to develop players. Grant is a Miami native and he is married with two children.

Grant is a self-professed basketball fanatic and he enjoys spending time with his family. Grant is considered one of the best coaches in college basketball and he is widely respected. Grant is a highly successful assistant coach and was recently named the head coach at Dayton.

Grant has extensive experience coaching in the SEC and has led teams to numerous accolades, including a national coach of the year award. 

Grant is known for his ability to develop players and has a reputation for being a good teacher. Grant is highly regarded as a strategist and is known for his ability to create game plans that work.

Grant has a wealth of knowledge and experience, which he will be able to bring to Dayton. Grant is a highly-regarded assistant coach and is expected to be a strong head coach.

Kostas Antetokounmpo is a 25-year-old center and power forward who currently plays for Fenerbahçe Beko in the Turkish Basketball League and EuroLeague. Antetokounmpo was born in Athens, Greece, but is of Nigerian descent.

Antetokounmpo played high school basketball at Dominican in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin and was named to the All-State First Team as a senior. Antetokounmpo played college basketball for Dayton in the American Athletic Conference.

He was named to the All-Conference First Team as a junior and senior. Antetokounmpo was drafted 36th overall in the 2016 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks and then traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He was then traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in February of 2018.

Antetokounmpo has appeared in 69 NBA games and has averaged 10.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. Antetokounmpo has been a regular member of the Greek national team since 2016. He has appeared in nine EuroBasket games and averaged 8.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.

Antetokounmpo is a two-time Greek League MVP and a two-time EuroLeague MVP. Antetokounmpo is the founder of the Kostas Antetokounmpo Foundation, which provides food and clothes to families in need in Athens and the surrounding area. 

Antetokounmpo is a ambassador for the Bucks, Nets, 76ers, and Greek national teams.

Don Meineke was born on October 30, 1930, in Dayton, Ohio. He attended high school at Wilbur Wright and then college at Dayton. Meineke was drafted by the Fort Wayne Pistons in the 1952 NBA draft and played for them for five seasons.

He then had a lengthy playing career with the Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers, and New York Knicks. Meineke was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1985. He retired from playing in the 1978 season and then became a basketball coach.

Meineke passed away on September 3, 2013, at the age of 82. A 6′ 5″ forward who played for the Fort Wayne Pistons and Rochester / Cincinnati Royals in the 1950s, Don Meineke was a consensus second-team All-American in 1952. He averaged 6.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in his career.

Meineke was a member of the United States national team that competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics. He died in 2013 at the age of 82.

Jordan Sibert is a 30-year-old shooting guard from Cincinnati, Ohio who played college basketball for Ohio State before transferring to Dayton in 2013. 

Sibert has played in the Greek Basket League for PAOK Thessaloniki since the beginning of the 2016-17 season and is averaging 17.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.

Sibert is a two-time All-BIG EAST performer and was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team in 2015. Sibert has appeared in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament twice, including a run to the Elite Eight in 2015. 

Jordan Sibert is a member of the United States national team and played in the 2016 Olympics. Jordan Sibert is a player who was undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft but has since had a successful career in Europe.

He currently plays for PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece. Sibert was a standout player for the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League in 2015–16 and 2016–17, and helped the team reach the playoffs both years. 

In 2017, he moved to PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece and has continued to be a key player for the team. Hank Finkel was born on April 20, 1942 in Union City, New Jersey. He attended high school at Holy Family in Union City, and later attended college at Dayton.

Finkel was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1966 NBA draft, and played for the team from 1966-1975. He is best known for his time with the Lakers, where he averaged 12.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Finkel retired from playing in 1975, and later worked as a coach for the Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks. Hank Finkel passed away on January 25, 2019 at the age of 80. Hank Finkel played 15 seasons in the NBA and won a championship with the Boston Celtics in 1974.

Finkel averaged 5.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in his 15-year NBA career. Finkel played for the Los Angeles Lakers, San Diego Rockets, and Boston Celtics. He was a third-team All-American in 1966 and was selected to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 1974.

Bill Uhl was a highly influential player in the history of basketball. Bill Uhl was a consensus second-team All-American in 1956. Uhl played collegiately at Dayton and was drafted by the Rochester Royals in the 1956 NBA draft.

Uhl played for the Royals for two seasons before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in 1958. Uhl spent the next six seasons with the 76ers, helping the team make it to the NBA Finals in 1962. Uhl was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 1964, and he played with the team for six more seasons.

Bockhorn played for the Royals for three seasons, before being traded to the Boston Celtics on February 1, 1962 in exchange for Dave Bing. 

Bockhorn played for the Celtics for two seasons, before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on January 20, 1964 in exchange for Joe Kleine. Bockhorn spent one season with the Lakers before being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks on February 21, 1965 in exchange for Maurice Lucas.

Bockhorn played for the Bucks for two seasons, before being traded to the Detroit Pistons on February 19, 1967 in exchange for Pete Maravich. Bockhorn played for the Pistons for one season, before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers on February 25, 1968 in exchange for Connie Dierkes.

Johnny Horan was a highly skilled player who was known for his shooting ability and strong rebounding. Horan is considered one of the greatest centers in NBA history.

Jim Palmer was born in Keokee, Virginia in 1933. After high school, he attended Dayton in Ohio, where he played college basketball. The St. Louis Hawks drafted Palmer in 1957, and he began his professional career the following year.

Palmer played for the Hawks for eleven seasons, winning two MVP Awards and four championship rings. He retired from playing in 1962, but continued to work as a basketball commentator and coach. Jim Palmer passed away in 2013 at the age of 80.

Palmer was a highly successful player in the NBA for over 20 years, playing for the Knicks, Jets, and Saints. Palmer was known for his accurate shooting, which helped him score a lot of points. He was also a good passer, which helped him help his team win games.

He has also played for the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars. He has won two Super Bowls with the Colts (2003, 2007). He has also been a four-time Pro Bowler. He is currently a free agent. Ryan Perryman is 6'7" and weighs 228 pounds.

Ryan Perryman was a versatile power forward who excelled at both offensive and defensive play. Ryan Perryman was drafted by the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers in 1998 but did not play in the league. After spending two seasons at Dayton, Perryman was selected by the Miami Heat in the 1999 NBA draft.

Perryman played six seasons with the Heat, averaging 10.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. In 2004, Perryman was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.

In 2008, Perryman was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies. In 2009, Perryman signed with the Utah Jazz. After one season with the Jazz, Perryman was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Leron Black was born on January 31, 1996 in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended high school in Memphis, Tennessee and was a standout player for the White Station High School Cougars.
