Earlier this year Rahmat Shah made headlines when he scored 114 not out against Sri Lanka A during their tour of Bangladesh; it was also reported that he had broken Mohammad Ashraful's record asAfghanistan's highest scorer in One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Currently Rahmat Shah is playing with Mohammedan Sporting Club once again after signing a two-year contract extension earlier this year; we'll be keeping our eye on his progress closely.

Naveen-ul-Haq is a young, talented bowler who has been playing for Afghanistan since 2016. He made his international debut in the ODI series against Bangladesh in 2016 and has since played a number of matches for the national side.

Naveen-ul-Haq is known mainly as a bowler but he can also bat at low order, making him an interesting option off the bench.

He is currently contracted to play with Afghan team until 2021 and there are rumours that he could soon be called up by ICC to participate in world cup Qualifiers or World T20 tournament in 2020/21 season.

Naveen-ul-Haq is a left arm orthodox spinner who has represented Pakistan in both ODI and T20I cricket. He made his international debut for Pakistan against India in the 2016 ICC World Twenty20, taking 2 wickets with his left arm spin.

Naveen-ul-Haq typically bowls slow left arm orthodox balls that turn sharply from one end of the pitch to the other, creating difficult conditions for batsmen to score runs off him.

He was part of the Pakistani team which reached the semi finals of the 2018 ICC World Cup, where he took 4 wickets in 5 matches at an average of 27.33 and bowling economy rate below 3 per over throughout tournament play.

In November 2020, Naveen-ul-Haq was named as captain for Pakistan's squad for their tour of Australia later that year - making him only the second person (after Waqtasim Ali) to be given such responsibility within national cricketing circles following Imran Khan’s retirement from Test Cricket earlier that year.

Hazratullah has represented Dhaka Dynamites and Kabul Zwanan domestically over the past two years, but he is now set to represent Amo Sharks in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2019.

Hazratullah's slow left arm orthodox bowling style means that he can be useful as an allrounder, with his ability to bat and bowl likely being key assets on the field for Amo Sharks during BPL 2019.

Hazratullah will hope to build on his international debut performance when Afghanistan face West Indies in another ODI series later this year Hazratullah Zazai was a Bangladeshi cricketer who played for the Rajshahi Royals.

He made his first-class debut in 2009 and went on to play 33 matches, scoring 936 runs at an average of 32.00 with three centuries and eight fifties.

Hazratullah Zazai is widely regarded as one of the best batsmen to come out of Bangladesh; despite playing only sixteen first-class fixtures, he has already amassed over 1,246 career runs which puts him eleventh on the all-time list for most run scorer by a Bangladeshi player in first-class cricket alone.

Hazratallah Zazai also holds the record for being the fastest Bangladeshi batsman to score 10 wickets in an innings – doing so against Zimbabwe during their tour of Bangladesh back in 2018/19 season. Impressive stuff indeed.

Final Words

. . . Afghanistan National Cricket Team is a major force in international cricket, and their best players include talismanic captain Asghar Stanikzai, leg-spinner Mohammad Nabi and allrounder Zahir Khan.

These players have helped Afghanistan to achieve great successes on the international stage – most notably at the Asia Cup, where they reached the final in 2013 before losing to India.
