The Saint Joseph’s Hawks men’s basketball team is one of the most storied basketball programs in the country. Founded in 1851 and based in Philadelphia, the Hawks have been a perennial powerhouse in the Atlantic 10 Conference, and have been a member of the Philadelphia Big 5 since 1955.

Led by head coach Billy Lange, the Hawks are determined to continue their legacy of success and bring home championships to their loyal fans. With an exciting style of play and a commitment to excellence, the Hawks are sure to make some noise on the court this season.

Jameer Nelson played point guard for 14 seasons in the NBA, most notably with the Denver Nuggets. He was a member of two championship teams - with Denver in 2013 and Golden State Warriors in 2018.

Jameer is currently an assistant general manager for the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League. In 2004, he was drafted 20th overall by the Nuggets and went on to play for them until 2018.

 Jameer has also spent time playing overseas, including spells with French side Le Mans AC (2006–2007) and Spanish club Valencia Basket (2008).

He is married to fellow basketball player Chandra Levy-Nelson and they have one child together - daughter Bailee Rose Nelson-Nicholson Jameer Nelson was drafted by the Orlando Magic in 2004 and spent his entire 10-year career with them.

 He was a three-time All-Atlantic 10 player, twice as Atlantic10 Defensive Player of the Year, and played in four NBA Allstar Games. Nelson averaged 13 points, five assists, and two rebounds per game during his career.

Jordan Hall is a 21-year-old shooting guard who currently plays for the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League. He attended Cardinal O'Hara high school in Middle Township, New Jersey and was a four-year starter.

He was drafted by the Spurs in the second round of the 2018 NBA G League draft. In his rookie season, Hall averaged 14.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while shooting 44.5% from the field and 36.5% from three-point range.

In his second season, Hall averaged 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists while shooting 48.8% from the field and 36.3% from three-point range. 

In his third season, Hall averaged 20.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists while shooting 50.9% from the field and 37.7% from three-point range.

In his fourth season, Hall averaged 21.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists while shooting 51.4% from the field and 38.1% from three-point range. He is a two-time NBA G League All-Star and was named to the 2018-19 NBA G League All-Rookie Team. 

Jordan Hall is considered one of the most versatile players in the NBA G League and is expected to have a long career in the NBA.

Halil Kanacevic played college basketball for Hofstra. He was undrafted in the 2014 NBA draft but has since played for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies. Halil Kanacevic is a Montenegrin-American, and he was born on October 23, 1991 in Staten Island, New York.

Halil Kanacevic is 6'8" tall and weighs 260 pounds. He has a career record of 31-24. Halil Kanacevic is known for his imposing size and strength, which has helped him to play in the NBA. Halil Kanacevic is a versatile player, who is skilled at both shooting and post play.

Jim Lynam was born on September 15, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He played college basketball at Saint Joseph's and was drafted by the NBA but did not play in the league.

Lynam then coached at Fairfield and American before taking over as head coach at Saint Joseph's in 1978. He led the Hawks to the NCAA Tournament in 1981 and 1982 and won the National Invitation Tournament in 1984.

He then became head coach of the Trail Blazers but was fired after just two seasons. Lynam then returned to coaching with San Diego and Los Angeles Clippers before retiring in 2010. Lynam was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.

He has written a book, "One Last Shot: My Life in and Out of Basketball" and currently resides in Philadelphia. Jim Lynam was the head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers from 2005-2010. 

In his eight seasons as head coach of the Sixers, Lynam led the team to two Eastern Conference Championship appearances and one NBA Finals appearance.

Lynam was also the head coach of the Saint Joseph's Hawks from 1963-1971. As a player, he won a silver medal with the U.S. Olympic team in 1964. 

After retiring from playing, Lynam became an assistant coach with the Philadelphia 76ers from 1988-1992 and the Washington Bullets from 1994-1997. Lynam was inducted into the Saint Joseph's Hawks Hall of Fame in 2002.

Lynam is currently a basketball analyst for Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia. Lynam was born on March 11, 1946 in Syracuse, New York.

Anderson was born on September 7, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended high school at Thomas Edison in Philadelphia. After high school, he attended Saint Joseph's College in Philadelphia.

He was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1967 NBA draft and played for the team from 1967-1972. He was a shooting guard and is best known for his time with the Lakers. Anderson retired from playing in 1972.

He died on July 26, 2021 at the age of 76. He was inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame in 1978. Anderson is remembered for his shooting guard skills and was a major contributor to the Lakers' championship runs in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Cliff Anderson was a highly versatile player who played both the point and shooting guard positions in the NBA and ABA. 

Anderson was a three-time All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Second Team in the ABA. He also won two consecutive NBA titles with the Lakers in 1967 and 1968.

Anderson retired from the NBA in 1970 after playing for the Rockets, Cavaliers, 76ers, and Bombers. He currently ranks ninth all-time in 3-point field goals made and tenth all-time in 3-point field goals attempted. 

Anderson is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the College Basketball Hall of Fame. Anderson was born and raised in Philadelphia. He is married and has four children.

Langston Galloway was born on December 9, 1991 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Langston Galloway attended Christian Life Academy in Baton Rouge and played high school basketball for the school.

Langston Galloway played college basketball for Saint Joseph's and was drafted by the Westchester Knicks in the 2014 NBA draft but never played in the NBA. 

Langston Galloway signed with the Erie BayHawks of the NBA G League in March of 2018 and has been playing for them ever since.

Langston Galloway is a shooting guard and point guard and has been playing both positions for the Erie BayHawks. Langston Galloway has played for the United States men's national basketball team. 

in the past and is currently training with them for the 2022 Basketball World Cup. Langston Galloway is currently31 years old and is one of the most decorated players in the NBA G League.

7. Billy Lange

Lange was hired as the head coach of the Saint Joseph's Hawks in 1996. He has led the Hawks to a record of 295-236-1 in 10 seasons. Lange has also been a head coach at Rowan University (1994–1996) and Temple University (2002–2004).

He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. Lange has been married to his wife, Lori, since 1994. They have two children. Lange has been a part of the coaching staff of the United States men's national basketball team.

He was selected as the Atlantic 10 Conference Coach of the Year in 2017. Lange was an assistant coach with the Villanova Wildcats from 2004-2011. Lange was hired by the Philadelphia 76ers as an assistant coach in 2019. Lange is a graduate of the U.S Merchant Marine Academy.

Lange has won several accolades as a coach, including the Patriot League Coach of the Year in 2008. Lange is a native of Scranton, PA.

Ronald Roberts was born in Bayonne, New Jersey in 1991. Roberts attended high school at Bayonne before attending St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Roberts played college basketball for Saint Joseph's and was undrafted in the 2014 NBA draft. Roberts played in the NBA for three seasons, from 2014 to 2016, before joining the Orlando Magic in 2017.

Roberts left the Magic in 2018 and signed with the Detroit Pistons the following year. Roberts left the Pistons in 2021 and has since played in the G-League and in Europe. Roberts is a power forward and center who has averaged 8.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in his NBA career.

Roberts is married and has two children. Roberts is currently a free agent and is considering offers from NBA teams.

Ronald Roberts played two seasons in the NBA D-League with the Delaware 87ers and Santa Cruz Warriors before signing with the Raptors 905 of the NBA G-League in 2016.  Roberts is a 6'9" forward who averaged 10.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists over those two seasons.

He was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team in 2014 and to the Third Team All-NBA D-League in 2016. 

Roberts played for Hapoel Jerusalem of the Israeli Premier League in the 2017-2018 season. Roberts signed with Science City Jena of the German Basketball Bundesliga for the 2019-2020 season.

9. John Griffin

John Griffin was a standout player at Saint Joseph's during the 1970s. He went on to a successful coaching career at the high school level, most notably coaching Saint Joseph's to a National Championship in 1982.

Griffin is now a college basketball analyst for ESPN. He has also served as an assistant coach with the Philadelphia 76ers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Griffin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife have two children.

John Griffin is a well-respected basketball coach and analyst. Griffin was a successful coach at Siena and Saint Joseph's. 

He led both teams to NCAA Tournament appearances and won Coach of the Year accolades both times. Griffin was fired from Saint Joseph's in 1995 after a disappointing season.

He returned to coaching in 2000 with Siena and led the Saints to another NCAA Tournament appearance. Griffin retired from coaching in 2006 after a second stint with Siena. He currently works as an assistant coach at Clemson.

Maurice Martin was born in Liberty, New York on July 2, 1964. After high school, Maurice attended Saint Joseph's University. He was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the 1986 NBA Draft and played for the team from 1986-1988.

Maurice then played for the Washington Bullets and Philadelphia 76ers before retiring in 1992. Maurice has since been a successful coach, most notably with the Brooklyn Nets and the New Orleans Pelicans. He is married and has two sons.

Maurice is a two-time NBA Coach of the Year and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. 

Maurice Martin was a standout player for the Atlantic 10 Conference and the US Men’s National Team in the 1980s. He was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Year in 1986 and was a second-team All-American in 1986.

Martin played in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Atlanta Hawks. Martin was a two-time All-Star and was inducted into the Atlantic 10 Hall of Fame in 2000. 

Maurice Martin is a successful coach, leading the Xavier Musketeers to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament in 2018. 

Martin is a role model for young athletes and his story is an inspiration to anyone who wants to achieve their goals. Maurice Martin is a true gentleman and he is loved by everyone who knows him.

He was a standout high school basketball player and was drafted in the 1960 NBA draft by the New York Knicks. He played for the Knicks for six seasons before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in the middle of the 1969 season.

He was a three-time All-Star and led the 76ers to the NBA Finals in 1971, where they lost to the Boston Celtics. He retired from the NBA in 1973 and then played in the ABA for two seasons. He later became a broadcaster for the Knicks and 76ers.

He is a two-time recipient of the NBA's J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award, which is given to a player "whose outstanding contributions as a citizen include charity work, involvement in the community, and support for young people." He was inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame in 2002.

He is also a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Philadelphia 76ers Hall of Fame. He was born on October 22, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Carl Jones played college basketball at the University of Dayton and was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2011 NBA draft. He was signed by the LBE's Soles de Ojinaga and has been a key player on the team since he joined.

Jones has averaged 14.3 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game this season. He is a two-time Liga de Básquetbol Estatal Chihuahua LBE MVP and has been a part of the team's championship run in both of those seasons. 

Jones has also been a part of the United States national basketball team since 2011 and has played in several international tournaments.

He is currently in the middle of his fourth season with Soles de Ojinaga and is considered one of the team's most important players. Jones is a versatile player who can play both point guard and shooting guard positions. 

He is an excellent passer and has a good sense of timing. Jones is a hard worker who is always looking to improve his game.

13. Patrick McFarland

Patrick McFarland was a basketball player who spent his entire career with the New York Knicks. He was drafted in the 1973 NBA draft and played with the team until 1988.

McFarland was known as a strong rebounder and defender. He was inducted into the New York Knicks Hall of Fame in 1998. McFarland is currently retired and resides in Pennsylvania.

Patrick McFarland was a shooting guard who played for the Denver Rockets/Nuggets and San Diego Sails between 1973-1975. McFarland was a two-time MAC Player of the Year and was a key player on both teams.

McFarland was a prolific scorer and is seventh all-time in Nuggets/Rockets scoring. McFarland played in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets and the Philadelphia 76ers. McFarland is most famous for his time in Denver, where he helped the team make the playoffs in each of his three seasons.

After playing in the NBA, McFarland went on to have a successful coaching career with the Denver Nuggets and the Utah Jazz. McFarland is a member of the Utah Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Pat Carroll was born on September 10, 1982 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pat Carroll attended high school in Hatboro-Horsham, Pennsylvania. He played college basketball for Saint Joseph's.

Carroll was not drafted in the 2005 NBA draft, but he played in the NBA for five seasons from 2005 to 2010. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Miami Heat. Carroll is a shooting guard and is considered to be one of the best in the NBA.

He is a two-time All-Star and has won a championship with the Miami Heat in 2012. Pat Carroll is married and has two children. Carroll played college basketball at BCM Gravelines in France before transferring to Cajasol Sevilla in Spain. 

Carroll was a first-team All-Atlantic 10 selection in 2005 and was named Atlantic 10 co-Player of the Year that same year.

Carroll then played for the Iowa Energy of the NBA D-League before joining the Tenerife CB of the Spanish ACB League in 2008. Carroll then moved to the Rosalía de Castro of the Liga ACB in Spain before joining the Ikaros of the Greek Basket League in 2010. 

Carroll has played for several teams throughout his career, but is most notably known for his time with the Iowa Energy of the NBA D-League.

Carroll has been a regular fixture in the Spanish ACB League over the past few seasons, and has also played in the Greek Basket League. Carroll is a versatile player that can play both the point guard and shooting guard positions. 

Carroll is a consistent scorer and passer, and has been described as a “pass-first” player. Carroll has been a regular member of the Spanish national team since 2006, and has also played for the French national team.

Dmitri Domani was born on September 27th, 1974 in Moscow, Russia. He attended Saint Joseph's College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1993 to 1997. Dmitri was not drafted in the 1997 NBA Draft, but he signed with CSKA Moscow.

Dmitri played for CSKA Moscow from 1997 to 2002. Dmitri was then signed by the Detroit Pistons in 2002. Dmitri played for the Detroit Pistons from 2002 to 2012. Dmitri was then signed by the Phoenix Suns in 2012. Dmitri was then traded to the Utah Jazz in 2013.

Dmitri retired from professional basketball in 2012. Dmitri Domani is a Russian professional basketball player who last played for Krasnye Krylya. 

Domani played college basketball in the United States at Maryland. Domani was a member of the Russian national basketball team that participated in the FIBA World Cup in 1994 and 1998.

After playing college basketball in the United States, Domani returned to Russia and played for Dynamo Moscow from 2002 to 2011. Domani then played for Krasnye Krylya in 2011 and 2012.

 Domani is a 6'4" forward and he is known for his strong inside game. Domani is a two-time Russian League champion and he was also named the MVP of the Russian League in 2009.

Rashid Atkins was one of the most talented point guards in the NBA during the late 2000s. Atkins was undrafted but made an impact with teams such as the Philadelphia 76ers and the Detroit Pistons.

Atkins is perhaps best remembered for his time with the Boston Celtics, where he was a key contributor during their 2007 and 2008 championship seasons. Atkins retired from the NBA in 2010 after suffering from knee injuries.

C. J. Aiken was born on September 27, 1990 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. He attended high school at Plymouth-Whitemarsh and played college basketball for Saint Joseph's.

Aiken was not drafted in the 2013 NBA Draft but he has since started playing professional basketball. He is currently playing for the Delaware 87ers in the NBA Development League.

Aiken is 6'9" tall and 200 pounds. He has played power forward for his entire playing career. Aiken has played in the NBA Development League, the NBA, and in Europe. He is currently the assistant coach for the Delaware 87ers.

C. J. Aiken is married and has two children. CJ Aiken is a versatile small forward who can play both inside and out. Aiken was drafted by the Erie BayHawks in 2013 and made an immediate impact. 

He was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team in 2012 and 2013 and was Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year in 2012.

John Linehan was born in Chester, Pennsylvania in 1978. He attended high school at Chester and then played college basketball at Providence. He was undrafted in the 2002 NBA draft but had a playing career that spanned from 2002 to 2013.

He has since moved into assistant coaching and currently coaches Saint Joseph's Hawks in the Atlantic 10. John Linehan is a Point Guard who has been coaching since 2015. 

Linehan has coached for Saint Joseph's since 2022. Linehan has helped lead the Hawks to two Atlantic 10 titles and a NCAA tournament berth.

Linehan was an All-American at Providence and played in the NBA for the Sacramento Kings and the Chicago Bulls. 

Linehan is a two-time Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year and has been named the 2016–2017 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Coach of the Year. Lineshan is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

He is a Point guard specialist and will be a valuable addition to the Michigan coaching staff. Phil Martelli is likely to take over as interim head coach for Michigan in 2022. Phil Martelli is the head coach of Temple University's men's basketball team.

Miles played high school basketball at Glenelg Country School in Maryland. He then attended Milford Mill Academy in Baltimore, before transferring to Uşak Sportif in Istanbul, Turkey.

Miles has played in the Greek Basket League for AEK Athens since 2016. He has averaged 7.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game in his career. Miles was named to the All-Greek Basket League Second Team in 2017.

He is also a member of the United States national basketball team. Miles plans to play basketball at the collegiate level after completing his Turkish military service. He has dual citizenship in the United States and Greece.

Miles is married and has two children. Miles was a standout player at St. Joseph's College before being drafted in the 2016 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. Miles has since played for JDA Dijon in France and Uşak Sportif in Turkey before joining AEK Athens in Greece in 2018.

Tony Costner was born in Montclair, New Jersey on June 30, 1962. He attended Overbrook High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and played college basketball for St.

Joseph's. Costner was drafted by the Washington Bullets in the 1984 NBA draft and played for the team from 1984-1997. 

Costner's most notable achievements during his playing career were winning an NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls in 1991 and making an All-Star team in 1995.

After his playing career ended, Costner became a television and movie actor. He is best known for his roles in The Untouchables, Bull Durham, and The Green Mile. 

Costner is married to Christine Baumgartner and they have two children. Costner lives in California and is a member of the National Rifle Association.

In his free time, Costner enjoys golfing and skiing. Costner is retired from professional basketball and is currently working on a new television series.

22. Cindy Griffin

Griffin starred as a point guard at Saint Joseph's, where she helped lead the team to back-to-back Atlantic 10 championships in 1991 and 1992. Griffin has also had a successful coaching career, most recently leading the Saint Joseph's women's team to the NCAA Tournament in 2016.

Griffin is a five-time Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year, and she was inducted into the Saint Joseph's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017. Griffin is a native of Philadelphia and she and her husband, Steve, have two children. Cindy Griffin was an assistant coach at Saint Joseph's from 2001-2013.

During her tenure, the Hawks won a total of 357 games. Griffin's coaching experience includes stops at Loyola (MD), Vanderbilt, and Saint Joseph's. 

Griffin was named Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year in 2003, and she was also a recipient of the Naismith Award, which is given to the best women's college basketball coach in America.

Griffin is a native of Maryland and she played college basketball at Loyola (MD). Griffin has two daughters and she is currently an assistant coach at Saint Joseph's.
