Darius Boyd is a well-known fullback who has played for the Brisbane Broncos and Melbourne Storm in the NRL. 

He was originally signed by the Brisbane Broncos as an 18-year old, and made his debut in 2006 against the Newcastle Knights.

In 2009, he re-signed with the Brisbane Broncos on a three-year deal, before joining Melbourne Storm at the end of that season. 

During his time with both clubs, Darius Boyd has won two premierships (with Brisbane in 2011 and Melbourne in 2013), as well as being named player of the year twice (2012 with Brisbane and 2014 with Melbourne).

At international level, Darius Boyd has represented Australia numerous times over – most notably during their 2012 Rugby League World Cup campaign which culminated in them becoming world champions. 

Currently playing for French side Catalans Dragons, where he joined at the start of this season – having previously spent one year apiece at English club St Helens RLC and Japanese rugby union side Suntory Sungoliath FC respectively.

Danny Buderus is a professional rugby league footballer who played for the Newcastle Knights and the Leeds Rhinos. Buderus made his debut for the Newcastle Knights in 1997 and went on to play 220 matches for the club.

Buderus joined Leeds Rhinos in 2009 and played 82 matches for the club. Buderus is a hooker and is known for his explosive running and kicking game. 

Buderus has won two premierships with Newcastle Knights, in 1997 and 2008, and has also been a part of the side that has made the Grand Final on two occasions, in 2001 and 2009.

Kalyn Ponga is a New Zealand international rugby league footballer who has played for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League. Ponga was born in Wellington on 30 July 1997. 

Ponga made his NRL debut for the North Queensland Cowboys in the 2016 season. Ponga has represented New Zealand at junior level, and played for the Junior Kiwis in the 2018 World Cup.

Ponga signed a five-year contract with the Cowboys in May 2018. Ponga is a dual New Zealand and Australian citizen. In 2019, Ponga was named in the Australia squad for the 2019 Rugby League World Cup.

 Ponga has been involved in a number of high-profile incidents in the NRL, most notably a tackle on Cameron Smith that resulted in a six-week suspension. Ponga is the son of former rugby league player Kaluki Ponga.

David Klemmer is a prop and lock for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. Klemmer was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia in 1993. Klemmer began playing rugby league at the age of six.

Andrew Johns is a former halfback and hooker who played for the Sydney Roosters, the Canberra Raiders, the Gold Coast Titans and the Newcastle Knights in the National Rugby League.

Johns was born in Cessnock, New South Wales, and played junior rugby league for the Cessnock Bulldogs. He made his first-grade debut for the Sydney Roosters in the 1995 NRL season and played for the club until 2003.

He then moved to the Canberra Raiders and played for them for four seasons. Johns then signed with the Gold Coast Titans in 2007 and played for them for three seasons. He then signed with the Newcastle Knights in 2011 and played for them until his retirement in 2015.

Akuila Uate is a wing who plays for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL. He was born in 1987 in Fiji and moved to New Zealand when he was young. 

He is a Votua Nadroga-Navosa Province representative and has played for the Junior Kiwis, the New Zealand Sevens team, and the New Zealand Warriors.

Bill Peden started his rugby league career with the St. George Dragons in 1989. Peden played for the Newcastle Knights from 1995 to 1998 and the Sydney Roosters from 1998 to 2001.

He played in the National Rugby League for the Dragons, Knights and Roosters. Peden was a part of the Roosters' 2000 NRL Grand Final victory. Peden played in the Rugby League World Cup for Australia in 1995 and 1999.

Peden was named the Roosters' captain in 2001. Peden retired from rugby league at the end of the 2002 NRL season. Peden then worked as a rugby league commentator for Fox Sports. Peden is currently a rugby union coach and is the head coach of the Newcastle Knights.

Peden made his NRL debut for the Newcastle Knights in 1994 and went on to play for the London Broncos between 2003 and 2004. 

Peden is a two-time premiership-winner with Newcastle and London and also represented Australia on several occasions. Peden retired from playing in 2006 and later became the coach of the Newcastle Knights' feeder team, the Knights Intrust Super Cup.

Peden was appointed the head coach of the Brisbane Broncos in the 2013 NRL season and led the team to the premiership in his first season at the helm. Peden signed a three-year contract extension with the Broncos in May 2018 and is currently in his fourth season as head coach. 

Peden was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018 and underwent surgery to remove the cancer. Peden is a member of the NRL Hall of Fame and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2018 Australia Day honours.

Peden is married to NRL broadcast journalist, Rachael Ray and they have two children. Peden is a motivational speaker and has spoken at events such as the NRL CEO's Breakfast and the NRL Women's Round.

19. Mark Sargent

Mark Sargent was born on 18 August 1964 in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. He is a prop forward who has played for the Melbourne Storm, Canberra Raiders, and the Newcastle Knights.

He has represented Australia in test match play and was a member of the Queensland team that won the 2001 state championship. In 2009, he was diagnosed with brain cancer and had surgery to remove a tumour.

After his recovery, he resumed his football career with the Newcastle Knights. He retired from playing in 2013 after a season with the Knights' feeder team the North Queensland Cowboys. Mark Sargent is married and has two children.

He is a coach for the Ipswich Jets in the National Rugby League. Mark Sargent is a ambassador for cancer research and has helped raise money for the cancer charity, CanTeen.

20. Marc Glanville

Marc Glanville started his career with the NSW Waratahs in 1987. He joined the British and Irish Lions in 1993 and played in all three Tests against the South Africa Springboks.

He played for the Sale Sharks in the English Premiership from 1996 to 1998. He joined the Melbourne Storm in 1999 and played in their 2003 and 2005 premierships. He retired from professional rugby in 2006.

He has since been involved in coaching and management, most notably with the Melbourne Rebels in Super Rugby. He was appointed head coach of the Melbourne Storm in December 2014. He was sacked from this position in February 2016.

He has since been appointed head coach of the Queensland Reds. Marc Glanville played for the St George Dragons from 1986-87 to 1998-99, amassing 242 appearances and 22 tries. He represented Country NSW in 1991-97, and was a part of the NSW side that won the 1995 State of Origin series.

Marc Glanville was also a part of the Newcastle Knights team that won the 1998 NRL premiership. After leaving the NRL, Marc Glanville played for Leeds Rhinos in the Super League for 2 seasons before retiring in 2001. 

He now coaches the Dragons' under-16s side. Marc Glanville was inducted into the New South Wales Rugby League Hall of Fame in 2009.
