Early years

Eric Kendricks was born in Fresno, California, to Yvonne Thagon and Marvin Kendricks, a former running back for UCLA who had also played in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was raised in a single-parent home, with his older brother Mychal and younger sister Danielle.
