Adrian Wilson is a former NFL player who currently serves as Vice President of Pro Scouting for the Arizona Cardinals. Adrian was born on October 12, 1979 in High Point, North Carolina and attended T.

Wingate Andrews high school before going to NC State University. He was drafted by the Cardinals in 2001 during the third round (pick 64).

Playing career

Adrian Wilson is a former American football strong safety who played for the North Carolina State Wolfpack from 1998 to 2001.

During his two-year tenure with the team, he was an exceptional player, making 254 total tackles (144 solo tackles, 11 tackles-for-losses), 11 passes deflections and three interceptions in 33 games (and 23 starts).

He set records as the most prolific defensive back in NC State history since James Walker collected 289 stops from 1993–95.

Wilson’s performance at NC State earned him recognition on several occasions: he was named to All Atlantic Coast Conference second-team honorable mention twice; ACC Defensive Back of Week against Duke University and Florida State University; and ACC Academic Honor Roll member all four years while attending college.

After deciding to forego his senior season and enter into NFL draft in 2001, Wilson began training hard under noted trainer Tom Shaw whom had also trained other notable players such as Michael Vick during that time period.

He went undrafted but signed with Arizona Cardinals later that year where he remained until 2012 when retired after 12 seasons playing professionally within National Football League(NFL).
