The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) is an American professional basketball league founded in 1996 as the women’s counterpart to the NBA. With twelve teams located throughout the United States, WNBA offers exciting and competitive play year round with a regular season that runs from May through September.

The All Star Game marks a mid-season climax and showcases many of the best players in action against one another. Alongside entertaining games, WNBA also works towards empowering female athletes and promoting gender equality within sports culture at large.

Breanna Stewart was born in Syracuse, New York on August 27th, 1994. She attended high school at Cicero–North Syracuse and played for the varsity women's basketball team there from 2011 to 2016.

In her sophomore year (2012-2013), she averaged 14 points and five rebounds per game as a starter for UConn before being drafted 1st overall by the Seattle Storm in the WNBA draft that same year. 

Breanna has since enjoyed an illustrious career in both professional women's basketball leagues - appearing in 129 games with Seattle and averaging 20 points, six rebounds, and two assists per season over that time period - whilst also representing. 

Team USA at multiple international tournaments including FIBA World Cup (2015) where she won a gold medal playing alongside superstars like Brittney Griner and Elena Delle Donne.

As of 2018, Breanna is currently contracted with the Storm until 2021 which makes her one of only three players ever to play continuously for their original WNBA franchise throughout its entire history. 

Breanna Stewart is a two-time WNBA champion and WNBA Finals MVP. She has also been voted the MVP of the league twice, in 2018 and 2020. Stewart was drafted first overall by the Seattle Storm back in 2016. 

The forward has since played for the Chicago Sky, Indiana Fever, Orlando Magic and now Fenerbahçe Safiport in Turkey during her illustrious career so far.

Candace Parker is one of the most decorated players in WNBA history, having won five championships with the Los Angeles Sparks. She was drafted first overall in 2008 and has since played for the Sparks, Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever.

In 2017 she became a mother to her daughter Kiari Kendrell Parker-Brown. As well as being an accomplished basketball player, Parker is also known for her sense of fashion – she has been featured in many high-profile magazine campaigns over the years.

Candace Parker is a three-time WNBA champion and two-time MVP. She played in the NBA for eight seasons, before returning to the WNBA with her former team, the Chicago Sky, in 2017. Parker has also won numerous awards including seven All-Star appearances and an MVP award.

Sue Bird is an American-Israeli point guard who has played in the WNBA for over a decade. She was drafted first overall by the Seattle Storm in 2002 and spent her entire playing career with them, retiring after the 2018 season.

Bird is widely considered one of the best point guards to have ever played in the WNBA and is often credited with helping lead Seattle to two consecutive championship titles (2013–14; 2014–15). 

In addition, she has also won three MVP Awards, four scoring titles, and two Rookie of Year Awards during her time in the league.

Outside of basketball, Bird is known for being outspoken on social issues such as gun control and race relations - she was awarded an I Am Woman Award from The Feminist Majority Foundation in 2018 for her work on these fronts. 

Born October 16th 1980 in New York state to Israeli parents Sue attended high school at Christ The King before attending UConn where she earned All-American honors twice (1998 & 2000).

En route to winning NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championship both times as a Husky (#1 seed 1998; #4 seed 2000).

After graduation from college Sue joined the WNBA expansion team Phoenix Mercury where she quickly emerged as one of their key players alongside. 

Sheryl Swoopes averaged 18ppg & 5rpg over 4 seasons before signing with Seattle Storm ahead of the inaugural season in 2003. 

Coincidentally they also claimed 1st title that year beating Los Angeles Sparks 3-0 Sue Bird is a professional basketball player who has played for the Seattle Storm, Dynamo Moscow, Spartak Moscow Region, UMMC Ekaterinburg, and currently plays for the Washington Mystics in the WNBA.

She has been awarded with many accolades including USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year in 2021 and 5 Russian National League championships.

Elena Delle Donne is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Washington Mystics in the WNBA. Elena was born on September 5, 1989, in Wilmington, Delaware.

She attended Ursuline Academy before transferring to Delaware where she played her college ball. In 2013, after going undrafted in the WNBA draft, Elena was selected by the Chicago Sky and has since played with them throughout her career.

At 6' 5" and 187 pounds, Delle Donne is a versatile small forward/shooting guard that can play either inside or out on offense; defensively she is very strong and capable of guarding multiple positions off the ball due to her athleticism and length. 

Elena Delle Donne is a professional basketball player who has played for the Chicago Sky and Washington Mystics in the WNBA.

She was drafted by the Sky in 2013 and won her first championship with them in 2019. A versatile scorer, Elena Delle Donne was also an All-Star twice and an All-WNBA First Team selection four times. 

In 2020, she became only the fifth player to be named MVP of both leagues when she led Washington to another title victory. 

Outside of basketball, Elena Delle Donne is involved with numerous charitable causes and serves as an ambassador for UNICEF UK & Ireland's "Be The Change" campaign targeting child malnutrition worldwide.

Diana Taurasi is a three-time WNBA champion and two-time MVP. Diana Taurasi was drafted 1st overall in the 2004 WNBA draft by the Phoenix Mercury. Diana played her first professional season with the Tulsa Shock before joining the Mercury for the 2005 season.

In 2006, she helped lead the Mercury to their first WNBA championship appearance, while winning her second consecutive MVP award. She joined ESPN as an analyst for their coverage of women’s basketball during The Finals in 2017 and 2018 seasons. 

After missing most of 2019 due to injury, she returned to play on May 24th against Minnesota; scoring 22 points on 10/21 shooting including 5/8 from 3-point range helping Phoenix win 107–92.

Diana Taurasi is a four-time WNBA champion and two-time MVP. She has also been an All-Star 10 times and was the Rookie of the Year in 2004. Diana's career highlights include leading the league in scoring five times, assists six times, and making it to 15th Anniversary Team list in 2011.

Sylvia Fowles was born in 1985 and played college basketball at LSU. In 2008, the Chicago Sky selected her with the first pick of the WNBA draft. She spent eight seasons with the Sky before joining Seattle Storm in 2020.

Sylvia is an all-star center who has averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds per game throughout her career. 

Her strong play on both offense and defense make her a valuable player on any team she plays for. Sylvia Fowles had a prolific career in the WNBA, winning two championships and an MVP award.

She was also named to eight All-Star teams and three all-defensive squads. After playing for Spartak Moscow, Galatasaray Medical Park, Shanghai Swordfish, Canik Belediyesi, Beijing Great Wall and Minnesota Lynx over her 10 year career she retired in 2018.

Wilson was selected as the first overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft by the Las Vegas Aces. Wilson has played for both South Carolina and the Las Vegas Aces since her rookie season in 2018.

She is a powerful forward who can score from anywhere on the court. Wilson is one of only four players in league history to total 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 100 assists in their career.

Wilson is also an ambassador for UNICEF and has raised over $1 million for their charity work since joining them in 2017. A'ja Wilson is a 6-foot-5 forward who was the first player in WNBA history to be drafted with an early pick (No.

Ogwumike was drafted first overall by the Los Angeles Sparks in 2012. She has played for the Sparks since 2012 and is a six-time WNBA All-Star. Ogwumike was born in Texas but grew up in Poland before coming to America to play basketball at age 16.

She attended Stanford University, where she won two NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championships with the Cardinal team (2008, 2010).

Ogwumike became one of only five players to win both an NCAA Championship and an Olympic gold medal when she helped Team USA take home the women's basketball gold medal at Rio 2016 Olympics.

Ogwumike holds numerous career records including most points scored in a season (2,338), most rebounds per game (14) and most blocks in a game (11). 

Ogwumike was one of the most dominant players in women’s basketball over the past decade. Ogwumike has won multiple championships and MVP awards, as well as Rookie of the Year honors.

Tina Charles was a highly touted high school basketball player, and she showed her skills in college by leading the UConn Huskies to two national championships.

After being drafted first overall in the 2010 WNBA Draft, Tina joined the Connecticut Sun as their starting center. She continued to be one of the league’s top players for several years, and helped lead her team to back-to-back WNBA Championships in 2013 and 2014.

In 2016, Tina signed with the Las Vegas Aces before joining Olympiacos Piraeus of Greece during the 2017 season. She has since returned to play for Connecticut Sun again this year.  

Charles is known for her exceptional defensive abilities, which have led many pundits to call her “the best shot blocker in women’s basketball”; she currently holds records for blocks in a career (1,462) and single game (14).

Aside from playing basketball professionally, Charles also works as an ambassador for UNICEF USA and participates in numerous charity events each year – most notably The Dream Foundation Ball which benefits St Jude Children's Research Hospital. 

In October 2018 it was announced that Charles would join ESPN as an NBA analyst beginning with the 2019–20 season. 

Tina Charles is widely considered one of the greatest female basketball players ever due to her incredible defensive capabilities along with impressive scoring totals throughout her nine-year professional career Tina Charles has been a dominant force in the WNBA for over a decade.

Jonquel Jones is a 29-year-old center/power forward who was drafted 6th overall by the Connecticut Sun in the 2016 WNBA Draft. Jones has spent her entire career playing for George Washington University where she won three NCAA Division I national championships (2013, 2015, 2017).

In her rookie season with the Sun, Jones averaged 15.9 points and 7 rebounds per game while shooting 47% from field goal and 85% from free throw line. 

Jones was named to the All-WNBA First Team as well as being voted into both the WNBA All Star Game and The Associated Press Women’s Basketball All American Second Team this past season.

Jonquel Jones is a 6-foot-5 forward who has been playing in the WNBA since 2016. She was selected by the Los Angeles Sparks as a first-round draft pick in 2016 and played for Connecticut Sun from 2016 to 2017 before joining. 

Asan Woori Bank Wibee of the Turkish Women’s Basketball League (TBL) in 2017. In 2018, she joined Shanxi Flame of China’s National Women’s Basketball League (NWBA) where she helped lead them to their first league championship and earned MVP honors.

Jones then signed with UMMC Ekaterinburg of Russia’s Premier VTB United League for the 2019 season but left after just one game due to visa issues that were later resolved. 

Jones rejoined the Sparks for their 2020 campaign and has continued to be an integral part of LA’s offense, averaging 14 points per game while also ranking second on her team in rebounds (7th overall) and assists (8th). 

With two seasons remaining on her contract with LA, there is no doubt that Jones will continue playing at high level into her late 20's – early 30's years old making her one of most promising players currently playing in women's basketball.

Courtney Vandersloot is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Chicago Sky in the WNBA. Courtney was born on February 8, 1989 and grew up in Kent, Washington.

She attended Gonzaga University where she played point guard for the Bulldogs from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, Vandersloot was drafted 3rd overall by the Chicago Sky and has since played with them continuously throughout her career.

Courtney is known for her strong defensive play which has helped her secure several championships with the Sky over the years including two consecutive titles in 2018 and 2019. 

Courtney Vandersloot is a former American professional basketball player who played for the Indiana Fever, Seattle Storm, and Atlanta Dream in the WNBA.

Courtney was born on April 12th, 1989 in Cape Coral, Florida to parents Brian and Shelley Vandersloot. 

Courtney attended Port Charlotte High School where she starred as a point guard for the varsity squad from 2004-2007.

Before enrolling at Vanderbilt University where she had her most successful collegiate years with the Commodore women's basketball team under head coach Melanie Balcomb.

In 2010, after two seasons of playing a backup role with Indianapolis Fever (WNBA), Courtney was traded along with fellow then-rookie.

Elisa Camargo to Seattle Storm during midseason; it turned out to be one of the best moves of franchise history as both players went on to win WNBA Championship together in 2013 – an event that marked first time ever that 2 teams from same conference won title jointly).

After spending 3 more seasons with Seattle Storm (winning another championship in 2015) and Atlanta Dream (2016), Courtney signed abroad with Russian club UMMC Ekaterinburg for 1 year starting from 2018 season. 

However, injury sustained prior to preseason led her retirement just few weeks into campaign – thus ending career which lasted 10 years altogether.

Jewell Loyd is a point guard for the Seattle Storm in the WNBA. She was drafted first overall by the team in 2015, and has played since then. In her rookie season, she averaged 17 points per game and six assists.

Jewell is originally from Illinois but now lives in Seattle. She has been praised for her high basketball IQ and ability to create shots for others on the court. 

Jewell also volunteers with several charities, including pediatric cancer research programs sponsored by Make-A-Wish America Northwest Chapter and Children's Hospital of Washington Foundation; she visited one hospital as part of her "Acts Of Kindness" tour this past year.

Jewell plans to continue playing professionally into at least 2020 seasons Jewell Loyd was drafted by the Seattle Storm in the first round of the WNBA draft. She won a championship with Galatasaray in 2015 and another with Shanxi Flame in 2017.

Brittney Griner attended Nimitz High School in Houston, Texas before going on to play college basketball at Baylor University from 2009-2013. 

Brittney Griner became one of the top players in women's basketball when she joined the WNBA as a rookie with the Phoenix Mercury in 2013 and won multiple awards throughout her career there.

In 2018, Brittney Griner signed with FIBA Women's Basketball Champions League side Olympiacos Piraeus after being voted into their All-Star team that season.

After her time at college, Bonner joined the WNBA and has been an important player on several teams over her career including Phoenix, Brno (Basketbalový Klub Brno) and Rivas (Baloncesto Rivas).

Bonner was drafted in the first round of the 2009 WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury. Bonner won two championships with the Phoenix Mercury (2009, 2014) and also played for the Los Angeles Sparks (2012-2016). 

In 2017, Bonner signed with USK Prague and helped them win a Czech title that year. In 2018, Bonner joined Shandong Six Stars and helped them reach the Chinese Women’s Division I Basketball Championship Finals where they lost to Jiangsu Suning Ladies 4-1.

In 2019, Bonner rejoined Dynamo Kursk of Russia for their inaugural season in EuroLeague Women and led her team to a playoff berth as well as winning Russian Cup MVP honors along the way while averaging 16 points per game throughout the regular season.

In 2019, Jones led Connecticut to their first postseason appearance since 2015 – reaching the WNBA Finals before falling to Minnesota Lynx in five games Brionna Jones is a versatile player who has played both forward positions in the WNBA. 

She was drafted by the Connecticut Sun in 2017 and helped lead them to an appearance in the playoffs that year.

She then moved to Minnesota Lynx for 2016-2017 and Samsung Life Blue Minx for 2017-2018 before signing with New York Liberty ahead of their inaugural 2021 season.

Dearica Hamby is married to fellow professional basketball player Roderick Ferguson and has two young daughters named Harper (born December 2017) and Haven (born March 2019). 

Hamby was a standout player at Wake Forest and was selected in the first round of the 2015 WNBA draft by the San Antonio Stars. 

Hamby has played for both the San Antonio Stars and Las Vegas Aces in her career so far, winning two titles with SDSU (as they were known then) in 2020 and 2022 respectively.

Sheryl Swoopes was a standout guard at Brownfield High School in Brownfield, Texas. She played for South Plains College and then for Texas Tech before being drafted by the Houston Comets in the 1997 WNBA Draft.

Sheryl spent eleven seasons with the Comets, winning three championships (1998-2000), before joining the Dallas Stars in 2002. In 2003, she joined the San Antonio Silver Stars and won another championship that year.

Sheryl retired from playing basketball in 2011 after reaching her tenth consecutive All Star Game appearance as a member of the Western Conference team.

She holds career averages of 17 points per game and 4 rebounds per game over her illustrious career span of 997 games played across all formats including 561 starts (including playoffs).

After retirement, Sheryl became an assistant coach with Tulsa Shock during their inaugural season in 2013 and has since remained there until present day coaching both young players on loan from colleges around.

Lisa Leslie was a dominant center in the WNBA for many years. She started her career with the Los Angeles Sparks and won five titles with them. Leslie has also played for the New York Liberty, Minnesota Lynx, Phoenix Mercury, Dallas Wings, and Chicago Sky.

She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and retired from professional basketball in 2009 after winning another title with the Sparks. Lisa Leslie was a three-time WNBA MVP and two-time champion.

Kelsey is known as one of the best point guards in women's basketball and has been instrumental to both her teams' success over her career thus far.

Kelsey Plum is a professional basketball player who has played for the San Antonio Stars and Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA, as well as Fenerbahçe in Turkey. She was an All-WNBA First Team selection in both 2021 and 2022, and won the Honda Sports Award in 2017.

Cynthia Cooper is a retired American basketball player. She played for the Segovia team from 1986 to 1987, before playing for Basket Parma from 1987 to 1994.

In 2001, she became the head coach of USC women's basketball team where she coached until her retirement in 2022. 

Cynthia Cooper was born on April 14th 1963 in Chicago, Illinois and attended Locke High School in Los Angeles, California before going onto study at the University of Southern California (USC). 

Where she played as a point guard and shooting guard between 1982 and 1986 winning two NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Championships along with four Pacific-10 Conference titles during her time there.

Following her playing career, Cynthia Cooper served as an assistant coach at USC under Pat Summitt then moved on to become head coach of North Carolina State under Viacheslav Kravtsov before taking up the reins at USC again. 

Cynthia Cooper-Dyke was a four-time WNBA champion and two-time MVP. She played college ball at Prairie View A&M before embarking on a successful playing career in the WNBA. 

Cynthia is currently an assistant coach with Texas Southern University, where she has led the Tigers to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.

Allisha Gray is an American shooting guard who was drafted in the 1st round of the 2017 WNBA draft by the Dallas Wings. Gray played college basketball at North Carolina and South Carolina before being drafted into the WNBA.

She stands at 6 feet 0 inches tall and weighs 167 pounds, making her a strong defender on the court as well as someone who can shoot from long range with accuracy.

Gray's accolades include two WNBA All-Star appearances (2018, 2019) and two Player of The Month awards (June 2018, December 2018). Allisha Gray is a versatile forward who has played both shooting guard and small forward for the Dallas Wings. 

Gray was one of the top scoring freshmen in ACC history, averaging 18.7 points per game as a freshman at Wake Forest.

She led her team to an NCAA Championship and earned First-team All-ACC honors in 2017 before being drafted by the Dallas Wings in the second round of the WNBA Draft that same year.

Smith is an assistant coach for the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA. She played shooting guard and small forward in the WNBA from 1999 to 2013. 

Smith graduated from Ohio State with a degree in psychology and earned All-Big Ten honors as a senior while leading her team to the NCAA tournament semifinals.

After playing professionally overseas, Smith was signed by the Minnesota Lynx as an undrafted free agent in 1999. She went on to play parts of nine seasons with them before retiring at age 34 following the 2013 season. 

As an assistant coach, Smith has helped guide several players – including Lindsay Whalen and Maya Moore – to storied careers in women's basketball.

Katie Smith is currently working on her own coaching career, having been named head coach of her alma mater Logan University’s women’s basketball program earlier this year Katie Smith played for the Columbus Quest and Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA. 

In 2014, she became an assistant coach with the New York Liberty. In 2018, she was promoted to head coach of the Minnesota Lynx where she continues to be an assistant coach.

Allie Quigley is a versatile guard who has played for Seattle Storm, Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever in the WNBA. She was drafted by the Seattle Storm in 2008 and spent three seasons with them before joining the Chicago Sky in 2012.

Quigley has won two championships (with Seattle and Chicago) as well as four Eastern Conference titles during her career. In 2018 she helped Indiana reach the WNBA Finals for the first time, but they were defeated by Minnesota Lynx.

At 36 years old, Allie Quigley still has plenty of basketball left in her tank and looks to continue playing at a high level into 2019/20 season Allie Quigley was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury in 2008 and has been a part of their franchise ever since.

She won her first WNBA title with the Mercury in 2021 and has continued to be one of the top players in the league. Allie also had success playing for Mersin BŞB during her time overseas, winning two Turkish Cups and being named MVP both times.

During her WNBA career, she averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds per game. Yolanda is currently an assistant coach with the Connecticut Sun team. Yolanda Griffith was a dominant center for the WNBA's Chicago Condors from 1998 to 2007.

She is considered one of the greatest players in league history, winning multiple accolades including MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards. Griffith also won two Olympic gold medals with Team USA as a member of the 2000 and 2004 teams.

After leaving basketball, she has played professional baseball in Italy and Spain. The 7-foot-1 center retired after playing her final game with Sacramento Monarchs in March 2007.

As a rookie with Chicago, Diamond averaged 10 points per game and 4 assists over 29 minutes of playing time - including 2 starts - en route to earning Rookie of the Year honors from both ESPN and The Associated Press (AP).

In 2019, Diamond signed with Phoenix Mercury where she will compete for an MVP award alongside fellow guards Brittney Griner and Elena Delle Donne as well as center Toni Kukoc.

Lindsay retired from playing in 2018 after winning two championships with the WNBA's Sparks Lindsay Whalen played in the WNBA for 10 seasons and was a 4-time champion.

After her playing career, she became an assistant coach with the Minnesota Lynx and has been there since 2018. Lindsay is known for her excellent coaching skills as she helped lead the Lynx to back-to-back championships in 2019 and 2020.

Seimone Augustus was a high school basketball star in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After college, she joined the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx as the first overall pick in the 2006 draft.

She played with the Lynx for six seasons before signing with Seattle Storm in 2012. In 2017, she returned to Minnesota and became an assistant coach under Cheryl Reeve. 

Augustus has since been promoted to head coach of the Sparks and led them to their first playoff appearance ever in 2018 season Seimone Augustus is a multiple-time WNBA champion and MVP.

She was drafted by the Minnesota Lynx in 2006, and played with them until 2008. Seimone then signed with Dynamo Moscow for two seasons before joining Galatasaray in 2011. 

In 2013, she joined Spartak Moscow Region as head coach where she stayed until 2016 when she moved to Los Angeles to take over as assistant coach of the Sparks. 

On July 21st, 2021, Augustus was named Head Coach of the Los Angeles Sparks succeeding Van Chancellor who retired after 20 years with the team.

Becky Hammon is a former professional basketball player who played in the WNBA for 13 seasons. Hammon was drafted by the San Antonio Stars in 1999 but did not play professionally until 2003, when she joined the Utah Starzz of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).

In 2007, Hammon signed with the Atlanta Dream and helped them to win two WNBA titles before retiring in 2014. As head coach of the Las Vegas Aces, Hammon has led them to three playoff appearances so far during her tenure; their first-ever postseason appearance came this year.

Becky Hammon is married to Brent Barry and they have one daughter together - Braylen Grace Barry - born in November 2016 Hammon became the first female coach in NBA history when she was hired by the San Antonio Spurs as an assistant in 2018.

Hammon played professional basketball for 14 seasons, including six with the WNBA’s New York Liberty and 11 with Spanish club Ros Casares Valencia. 

In 2014, Hammon joined Gregg Popovich's staff as an assistant coach of the San Antonio Spurs and has since led them to two championships (2018, 2019). 

Hammon is a four-time WNBA All-Star and was twice named league assists leader (2007, 2009). She also earned Second Team All-WNBA honors in 2005 and 2008. 

Becky holds both UConn coaching records for most wins over a career at 233 games (.823) and winning percentage.

While becoming just the third head coach ever to win 100 or more games at two different schools (Connecticut Huskies [2003–2006] & Las Vegas Aces [2014–present]).

After her playing days ended, Hammon began working towards her coaching certification from ESPNU before being hired by the Spurs full time in 2018.

Laney was selected by the Chicago Sky with the 17th overall pick in the 2015 WNBA draft and has since been playing for them. Laney is a shooting guard / small forward who can play both offensively and defensively; she averaged 7 points per game last season with Chicago Sky..

Laney is in her fifth season with the New York Liberty. She was selected as an All-Star for the first time this year and finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting to Minnesota Lynx forward Rebekkah Brunson. 

Laney has led the Liberty to back-to-back playoff appearances and a WNBA Finals appearance last year, where they were defeated by eventual champion Seattle Storm 4 games to 1.

Known for her toughness on both ends of the floor, Laney averaged 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks per game during this past season’s playoffs while shooting over 50 percent from three point range (11 out of 24). 

A native of Mobile, Alabama who played college basketball at Louisiana State University before joining WNBA team Connecticut Sun prior to the 2018 season.

Kayla McBride was born on June 25, 1992 in Erie, Pennsylvania. She attended Villa Maria Academy and played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team from 2010 to 2014.

In April of 2014, she was drafted by the San Antonio Stars as the 3rd overall pick in the WNBA draft. McBride has since played for the Stars (2014-present), Tulsa Shock (2015-2017), Dallas Wings (2018) and Minnesota Lynx (2019-present).

As of 2019, she is a member of the Minnesota Lynx and has averaged 10 points per game over her career so far Kayla McBride was drafted by the San Antonio Stars in 2014, and has since played for the Las Vegas Aces (2016-2018), Uniqa Sopron (2015-2016) and Yakın Doğu Üniversitesi (2018-2019).

She won three WNBA All Star games with San Antonio in 2015, 2018 and 2019. Kayla also helped lead her Turkish Super League side Fenerbahçe to back-to-back championships in 2017 and 2021. 

McBride tallied first team all ACC accolades as a senior at Virginia Tech before being selected sixth overall by the Stars.

Marina Mabrey was born on September 14, 1996 in Belmar, New Jersey. She played high school basketball at Manasquan and attended Notre Dame for two years before being drafted by the Dallas Wings in 2019.

Marina is a shooting guard and has had an up-and-down career so far with the Wings but she is still only 26 years old which gives her plenty of time to improve her game. 

Her height (5'11") and weight (170 lbs) are average for a shooting guard but she does have some good athletic ability which could help her develop into a better player in the future.

As of now, Marina's main focus is improving her skills as a shooter so that she can become more effective on the court and help her team win games. Marina Mabrey was born in the United States but raised in Latvia. 

Marina played college basketball for North Carolina State and helped lead her team to an NCAA Championship in 2018. She has since signed with the Dallas Wings of the WNBA and is looking to help them win a championship this season.

Marina is a versatile player who can play both guard positions, making her an important part of any team she plays on. 

She has already won two championships – one with TTT Riga in Europe, and another with Bnot Hertzeliya in Latvia – proving that she knows how to win games at a high level.

Napheesa Collier was born on September 23, 1996 in O'Fallon, Missouri. She played college basketball at UConn from 2015-2019 and is currently playing for the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA.

Napheesa is a power forward who stands at 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 181 pounds. Collier has had success with Team USA over her career, winning medals at both under-19 and under-21 levels before making her senior international debut in 2018.

Where she helped lead her country to a silver medal in the FIBA World Cup tournament held in Spain.

Her standout performances have seen Collier become one of the most sought after players heading into the 2019 WNBA season which kicks off on April 12th Napheesa Collier is a 6th overall pick in the 2019 WNBA draft by the Minnesota Lynx. 

She was born on October 5, 1999 in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended Catholic High School there. 

As a senior at Catholic High School she averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds and four assists per game en route to being named first-team All-State and second-team All-America by Associated Press (AP).

Collier played two seasons of college basketball for Clemson University before declaring for the WNBA Draft following her junior year in 2018.

In her rookie season with Minnesota, Napheesa averaged 14 points, six rebounds and three assists over 27 games played while shooting 44% from the field and 37% from 3 point range. 

Her breakout campaign came during her sophomore season where she averaged 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game while shooting 47% from field goal range – earning.

First Team All-American honors from both AP and ESPNW as well as ACC Defensive Player of Year accolades along the way.

Stevens is currently playing in Turkey with Galatasaray Fenerbahçe Ülker where she has helped her team make it to the EuroCup Women playoffs this year as well as the WBSL Championships last season.

Stevens was drafted by the Dallas Wings in the 2018 WNBA draft and has since made her mark on the league. She is a versatile defender with quick feet who can score from anywhere on the court.

Stevens has won two championships with Dallas and will look to add to that tally this season. Her all-around game makes her an important part of any team, and she is sure to be missed when she exits Chicago at the end of the year.

Stevens has been named Second Team All-ACC twice and Sixth Player of The Year in 2018 while playing for both ACC powerhouse Duke University as well as Atlanta’s sister club Galatasaray Istanbul in Turkey during her college career. 

Stevens joins fellow 2019 draftee Riquna Williams (No 6) as one of just three players from last year’s national championship teams currently signed by an NBA side, giving hope for future success stories among America’s top talents graduating college early.

51. Kelsey Mitchell

Mitchell was drafted by the Fever as the second overall pick in 2018 after playing college ball for Ohio State. She has ambitions of playing in the Olympics one day and hopes to help Indiana compete for championships during her time with the team.

Mitchell was selected by the Indiana Fever with the eighth overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft. The 6'5" forward played her college ball at Ohio State and averaged 16.3 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assists per game as a senior in 2018-19. 

Mitchell is coming off an All-Rookie Team season with Indiana where she averaged 13.7 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist per contest while shooting 49% from field goal range on 111 shots over 34 games played (including playoffs).

Mitchell has experience playing both guard positions and should provide depth for the Fever moving forward as they look to defend their 2017 WNBA Championship title this season.
