The University of Miami men’s basketball team is a long-standing program with a proud history of success. Founded in 1926, the Hurricanes have been a leader in college basketball, competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference since 2004.

Throughout its history, the team has produced numerous All-Americans, NCAA tournament appearances, and Big East championships. With a talented roster and a fiercely loyal fan base, the Hurricanes are poised to make a run at a national title in the near future.

James Jones is a 42-year-old American small forward and shooting guard who has been with the Phoenix Suns since 2017. Jones played college basketball for the Miami Hurricanes, where he was an All-American in 2003.

He was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in 2003 but never played for them as he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers later that year. In 2006, Jones signed with the Orlando Magic, but again only spent one season with them before being traded back to Cleveland.

After three more seasons with Cleveland (2009–2011), Jones joined the Memphis Grizzlies in 2012 and stayed there until 2017 when he rejoined the Phoenix Suns organization. 

Jones has averaged 14 points per game throughout his career and won two NBA Championships (2015 LeBron James team; 2018 Warriors squad).

James Jones was a three-time NBA champion and an executive with the Miami Heat. He is best known for his time with the Phoenix Suns, where he won the 2005 Three-Point Contest and helped lead them to their first playoff appearance in 14 years. 

Jones also played for Indiana Pacers, Portland Trail Blazers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Miami Heat during his career.

Barry was one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history, averaging over 20 points per game throughout his career. Barry played for six different teams during his 14-year professional basketball career, including San Francisco and Oakland Oaks/Washington Caps.

Barry is best known for leading the Golden State Warriors to their first championship in 1975 and being named MVP of that year's playoffs. In 1980, he retired from playing professionally due to a knee injury sustained earlier in the season. 

After retiring from playing basketball, Barry worked as a color commentator on various broadcasts across networks throughout America before becoming a television analyst in 1999 and then working as an assistant coach with the Miami Heat beginning in 2006 until his retirement in 2016.

Brown attended Wakefield High School in Boston, Massachusetts. Brown was a two-time All-State selection and helped lead the Wildcats to their first state championship in school history as a senior in 2017.

Brown played one season at the University of Kansas before transferring to Miami for his final year of eligibility. In his lone season with the Hurricanes, Brown averaged 17 points per game on 45 percent shooting from three-point range and 7 rebounds per contest while leading UM to an ACC regular season title and appearance. 

In the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 round where they fell to eventual champion Villanova Wildcats 73-68 after holding a 19 point lead with just over 12 minutes remaining in regulation time on their home floor.

Following his collegiate career, Brown signed an NBA contract with Denver Nuggets as undrafted free agent and has since made strides towards becoming a key contributor off the bench for them this upcoming 2019/20 campaign – appearing in 21 games (12 starts) so far averaging 6 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assists.

Whilst showing flashes of potential that could see him develop into an all-around threat down the line if he can continue progressing at this rate; making him someone you should keep your eye out for come playoff time.

Davon Reed is a versatile small forward who was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in 2017. He played college basketball for Miami (Florida) and averaged 16.7 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists per game during his three seasons there.

Reed has spent time with the Denver Nuggets, Toronto Raptors and Memphis Grizzlies in his NBA career so far, contributing 14+ points per game on average across all of those teams. Davon Reed is a versatile forward who has played for three different teams in the past two seasons.

Isaiah Wong is a talented point guard and shooting guard for the Miami Hurricanes. He was born on January 28, 2001 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His height is listed as 6 ft 4 inches and his weight as 185 pounds.

Isaiah played high school basketball for Bishop Sullivan High School in Orlando, Florida where he averaged 21 points per game as a senior en route to being named First Team All-State and Second Team All-American by ESPN360.com.

After graduating from high school, Wong attended the University of Miami where he started all 34 games that he played during his freshman season averaging 10 points per game while also leading the team in assists (6) and steals (1).

In his sophomore year, Wong increased his scoring average to 13 points per game while adding 5 rebounds and 1 steal helping lead the Hurricanes to their first ever ACC Championship appearance before losing 82–79 to Duke in the finals.

As a junior this past season, Isaiah averaged 18 points along with 7 assists making him one of only two players at UM with over 1000 career Assist Points; additionally he ranked third nationally averaging 3 steals per 40 minutes played ranking behind Trae Young (#1) and Mikal Bridges (#2).

The 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of Year led Miami back into March Madness but fell 79-77 against Virginia Tech in double overtime after holding an 11 point halftime lead which was UVA’s first postseason win since 1984 (per NCAA ). 

Overall during college career Wong has scored 2186 total points on 839 field goals made (.471 FG%) along with 992 assists giving him an overall PER rating of 23 indicating that he is among the best players currently playing in America according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Rodriguez was a standout player at Dr. Krop High School in Miami, Florida, before playing for Kansas State and then Miami (Florida). Rodriguez was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 53rd pick of the 2016 NBA draft but did not sign with them.

He has since played for various teams around Europe and South America. In May 2017, Rodriguez signed with Spanish club Valencia Basket as a free agent. 

During his time in Spain, he helped lead Valencia to two successive league championships while averaging 13 points per game over.

The course of 38 appearances throughout both seasons combined Rodriguez was a standout at Cholet Basket, winning the French League championship in 2016 and 2017.

Rodriguez joined Maccabi Haifa for the 2017-2018 season and led them to an Israeli League title. In 2018, he signed with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA G-League before returning to Vaqueros de Bayamón for the 2019-2020 season. 

Rodriguez has been named MVP of both seasons with Rio Grande Valley Vipers but is now back in Bayamón where he will continue his basketball career as one of Puerto Rico's most promising players.

Diaz was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2006 NBA draft. Diaz has played for ČEZ Nymburk, Anaheim Arsenal and now the San Antonio Spurs. Diaz is a point guard and averages over 10 points per game in his career.

Guillermo Diaz was born on December 6, 1986 in Puerto Rico. After playing college basketball at Biella University, Guillermo entered the NBA draft and was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2008. 

In his rookie season with the Clippers, he averaged 2 points and 1 rebound per game before being traded to Juvecaserta midway through the 2009–2010 season.

He then spent two seasons with Italian club Biella before joining Spanish side Capitanes de Arecibo for a year in 2011-2012. Returning to Spain again, Guillermo played one more campaign for Armia Tbilisi before signing with Venezuelan outfit Victoria Libertas Pesaro in 2014-2015.

 however, after only six games he returned home once again to play for San Lorenzo of Puerto Rico that same year - his fourth country of residence during his professional career.

Finally returning back to Europe where he has spent most of his senior career so far (with Atléticos de San Germán since 2016), Guillermo is currently averaging 10 points and 5 rebounds per game over 22 outings this term.

Shane Larkin was a standout player at Miami (Florida) and was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 2013. He has played for several teams in the NBA, most notably with the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers.

In 2018, he joined Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball League as their new point guard. Larkin is known for his explosive scoring ability and strong ball-handling skills. He is one of only a few players to win an NBA championship with two different teams (the Golden State Warriors in 2017, the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016).

Shane Larkin is a point guard who has played in the EuroLeague and NBA. He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in 2013 but did not play for them due to injury. He then moved to Texas Legends, where he won two championships before joining the Brooklyn Nets in 2015. 

In 2017, he joined Baskonia and helped them win the Spanish League championship that year as well as their first-ever European Cup title later on that season.

He signed with Anadolu Efes of Turkey for the 2018-19 season and has continued his success there, winning another Turkish League championship this year along with being named MVP of both the Turkish Cup and EuroCup Finals contests thus far during that campaign. 

Shane Larkin currently plays for Anadolu Efes in Europe's top competition, Liga ACB playoffs.
