Len Bias was one of the most talented players in the NBA during the early 1980s, but his death at age 22 in 1986 has led to him being somewhat of a controversial figure.

Despite his short career, Bias is considered one of the best draft picks in NBA history, and was a major part of the Celtics' success during the early 1980s. Bias had a famously high IQ and was an excellent passer, which helped him to become a key player on the Celtics.

His death has been linked to cocaine use, and his legacy has been mixed – some people consider him one of the best players in NBA history, while others feel that he should not be considered one of the league's all-time greats.

Len Bias is buried in Riverdale, Maryland. Len Bias was a consensus first-team All-American in 1986 and 1986 ACC Player of the Year.

Len Bias was a two-time ACC Player of the Year, and was also the ACC Athlete of the Year in 1986. Len Bias was a fourth-team Parade All-American in 1982. Len Bias was drafted second overall by the Boston Celtics in the 1986 NBA Draft.
