Charles Oakley was a power forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 1985 to 2004. He is best known for his physical play on the court and has been suspended multiple times due to altercations with opponents.
After retiring as a player, he began coaching youth basketball in 2010 and 2011. Charles Oakley was born in 1963 in Cleveland, Ohio, and played high school basketball at John Hay High School before attending Virginia Union University where he played college ball.
He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the ninth pick of the 1985 NBA draft and went on to have an illustrious career playing alongside Hall-of-Famers such as Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.

Bosh was born in Dallas, Texas, and played high school basketball at Lincoln. Bosh attended Georgia Tech where he started his career as a power forward before being moved to center later on in his college career.
Bosh was drafted fourth overall by the Toronto Raptors in 2003 and spent several years with them before moving to the Miami Heat in 2010.
Bosh is one of the most successful players in NBA history, winning two championships with the Miami Heat (2012, 2013).

Vince Carter was born on January 26, 1977, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Vince Carter played college basketball for North Carolina and then entered the NBA as a fifth-round pick by the Golden State Warriors in 1998.

Antonio Davis was a power forward and center for the Indiana Pacers from 1990 to 2006. Davis led the NBA in rebounding twice, including an NBA record of 22 boards in 2000.

Marc Gasol is a Spanish center who has played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, and Girona of the Liga ACB since 2003.
He is one of the most decorated players in European basketball history, having been named EuroLeague MVP twice (2013–14 and 2017-18), as well as three times winner of the La Liga Best Forward Award (2008–09, 2010–11, 2011-12).

Jonas Valančiūnas is a center for the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA. He was drafted fifth overall by the Toronto Raptors in 2011 and has since played for Memphis Grizzlies, Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius, and Toronto Raptors.
Valančiūnas is one of only two players (the other being DeMarcus Cousins) to record at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks in an individual game twice during his career.

Thaddeus Young was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1988. He played college basketball at Georgia Tech before being drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2007.
Young has been a mainstay of the Sixers since then and has averaged over 20 points per game for his career so far. In 2011, he was voted to represent Team USA at the World Championships and helped them win their first title ever.

Hakeem Olajuwon was one of the greatest centers in NBA history. He won five championships with the Houston Rockets and is still considered one of the best players to ever play the game.
Hakeem Olajuwon was born on January 21, 1963, in Lagos, Nigeria. After high school he attended Muslim Teachers College in Lagos before transferring to Houston where he played college basketball for the Cougars from 1981-1984.
The 1984 draft saw Olajuwon selected first overall by the then-Houston Rockets team; during his 15 seasons playing in Houston, he led them to 5 Championships (1994–95, 1996–97, 1999–2000, 2003–04). In 2002 he retired from professional basketball at age 36 after a long career spanning 15 years and 350 games.

Bismack Biyombo was born in Lubumbashi, Zaire (now DR Congo) on August 28th, 1992. Biyombo played college basketball for the University of South Carolina and then spent two seasons with the Charlotte Hornets before being traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in 2015.

Damon Stoudamire was born on September 3, 1973 in Portland, Oregon. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Portland and played for the school's basketball team as a point guard.
