The Seattle Sea Dragons are a professional American football team based in Seattle, Washington. After originally being founded by Vince McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment in 2019, the franchise was acquired by Alpha Acquico, LLC, a consortium led by actor and former WWE star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The Sea Dragons will kick off their inaugural season in 2021 as a part of the new XFL, playing their home games at Lumen Field in Seattle. With a team full of talented players, the Sea Dragons will look to make an impact in their first season and beyond.

Jim Zorn played quarterback for the Seahawks from 1976 to 1984. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1975 but did not play with them. He then spent four years playing for the Seattle Seahawks before retiring in 1984.

Jim Zorn is now a television broadcaster and analyst, most notably working as an NFL commentator on ESPN since 2007. In 2009, he became head coach of the Washington Redskins, but resigned after one season due to health concerns related to his battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

He has been married to his wife Jackie since 1978 and they have three children together: Katie, Adam, and Jesse James (born 1986). Jim Zorn was inducted into both the College Football Hall of Fame (2006) and Pro Football Hall of Fame (2009), becoming only the third player in history - following. 

Walter Payton and Joe Montana - were inducted twice into professional football's two highest honor boards Jim Zorn was the quarterback's coach for the Washington Redskins from 2008-2009. He previously served as offensive coordinator for Seattle Seahawks from 1997-2000 and Detroit Lions from 1998-2000. 

In 2001, he became QBs coach with the Seattle Seahawks where he worked under head coaches Mike Holmgren and Pete Carroll until 2007 when he left to become offensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings. 

After two seasons in Minnesota, Zorn was hired by Jim Harbaugh to serve as a quarterback consultant with the San Francisco 49ers in 2010 before being fired after one season on December 15th, 2011.

Channing Stribling played college football at Michigan and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2017. Channing has also played for the Indianapolis Colts in 2017.

Channing is a cornerback who stands at 6'1" and weighs 188 pounds. Channing has had success playing against taller receivers, as he was able to intercept two passes during his time with the Cleveland Browns last year.

Channing's future remains uncertain, but he will continue to play professional football until something better comes along Channing Stribling is a cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Channing played college football at Michigan State, where he won two national championships (2015 and 2017). Channing has also been successful in the NFL, earning Pro Bowl invitations in both his rookie season (2018) and sophomore year (2019). 

In December 2019, it was announced that Stribling had signed with Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football as their first free-agent player.

As one of only a handful of players to have ever played for all four teams in The USFL - Baltimore Stars/Lions ('94), Houston Texans ('95-96), New York Jets ('98-99), Miami Dolphins ('00) – Channing is an icon not just within professional football but across all sports fans everywhere.

Will Sutton is a talented and experienced defender who has played in the NFL for three seasons. At 6'1" and weighing over 290 pounds, he is an imposing force on the defensive line.

In his three years in the league, Sutton has made a significant impact both as a run stopper and pass rusher. He is definitely one of the most versatile players on an already stacked Bears defense, capable of playing any position along the front seven.

He has been a two-time Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year and won the Morris Trophy as the best player in college football in 2012 and 2013.

Austin Proehl was a standout wide receiver at Providence College. He finished his career with 124 receptions for 1,693 yards and 14 touchdowns. The St. Louis BattleHawks drafted Proehl in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

He has yet to play in an NFL game, but is expected to make an impact as a rookie this season. Austin Proehl is undersized by NFL standards but he makes up for it with speed, quickness and elusiveness on the field. Austin Proehl made an immediate impact with the Tennessee Titans in 2018.

He caught 44 passes for 684 yards and six touchdowns. The Rams will be Proehl’s third NFL team in four seasons, following stints with the Titans and Los Angeles Rams. Seattle has been a frequent stop for Proehl since he entered the league as a second-round pick of the Dragons in 2020. 

Injuries have limited him to just five games over that time, but he still managed 45 catches for 571 yards and two touchdowns on 73 targets.

San Francisco signed Proehl as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2019 season after he had spent his previous three years at Boston College playing alongside 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo Buffalo is where Proehl will finish out his career after signing with them last month.

Kenneth Farrow attended college at Houston, where he was a running back for the Cougars. He signed with the New England Patriots in 2018 but did not make an appearance on the field during his rookie season.

In 2019, Kenneth Farrow joined the Seattle Dragons as their running back and had a breakout year statistically, rushing for 1,039 yards and nine touchdowns on 188 carries. 

With his strong play this season, Kenneth Farrow has earned himself a spot on 2020 NFL draft radar and could very well be selected by an NFL team next year.

Kenneth Farrow is a 2019 San Antonio Commanders player. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 7th round of the 2019 NFL Draft. 

After being drafted, he attended rookie mini camp with the team but did not make the final roster cuts and was released on August 2nd, 2019. 

On September 3rd, he signed to the practice squad of the Seattle Dragons and has since been promoted to their active roster where he currently plays running back for them.

Kenneth Farrow's main job is to block while also catching passes out of backfield if needed. In 2020, Kenneth will be joining another new franchise - Arlington Renegades as they begin their inaugural season in American Football League (AFL). 

So far this year (2019), Kenneth has recorded 13 receptions for 70 yards and 0 touchdowns playing mainly as a receiver for SAA however his primary role remains that of blocking back. 

Which we believe gives him an edge over other players when it comes to competing against defenders one-on-one.

Willis was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2020, but did not sign with them. He then signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars for the 2020 season. Willis has caught 47 passes for 741 yards and 5 touchdowns in his career thus far.

Willis is known as a big receiver who can stretch defenses vertically downfield. Willis was a two-time All-Sun Belt selection and is one of the most promising receivers in the country. Willis had an impressive junior year, catching 46 passes for 730 yards and eight touchdowns.

With his speed and big play ability, Willis should have no trouble finding success in the NFL. The Broncos are always a contender and will be looking for someone to step up opposite Courtland Sutton this season. 

Look for Willis to make some big plays this season as he looks to build off of his strong junior campaign with Denver.

Blake Jackson was a wide receiver at Mary Hardin-Baylor. He was undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, but signed with the Seattle Sea Dragons shortly after. 

He has made a number of big plays during his rookie season with the Sea Dragons, including a touchdown catch against the San Francisco 49ers.

Tejan Koroma is a center for the Seattle Sea Dragons of the National Lacrosse League. He was born on April 27th, 1996, in Dallas, Texas. Koroma attended high school at Allen in Allen, Texas, where he was a two-time All-State selection.

Koroma attended Brigham Young University, where he played two seasons of lacrosse. He was not drafted by a professional lacrosse team, but signed with the Seattle Sea Dragons as a free agent in 2018. Koroma has appeared in five games for the Sea Dragons this season, scoring one goal.

He has also appeared in nine games for the team in total, scoring four goals and seven assists. Koroma is a versatile center who can play both as a midfielder and as a forward. He is known for his speed and passing ability. 

Koroma is a member of the United States national lacrosse team, and he has appeared in four international games.

He was part of the team that won the World Lacrosse Championship in 2017. Koroma is a devout Mormon, and he has served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Spain.

Phillips was born in Ellisville, Mississippi on October 6, 1997. He attended South Jones High School and played running back for the school's football team.

Phillips was not drafted into the NFL but signed with the Houston Texans in 2020. Phillips played in two games for the Texans in 2020, recording one carry for nine yards.

DiNucci was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1996 and played football at Pine-Richland High School in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. He attended Pittsburgh, where he played for the Pitt Panthers from 2015 to 2017.

He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 7th round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He made his professional debut in the 2020 season, appearing in 2 games. In 2021, he was promoted to the starting quarterback position, and he led the Cowboys to the playoffs.

He signed a new contract with the Cowboys in February 2022. DiNucci played in 3 games in the 2022 season, completing 18 of 26 passes for 248 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. He was injured in the final game of the season and was replaced by rookie Mason Rudolph.

He was waived by the Cowboys in December 2022.

B. J. Daniels played football at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida. Daniels attended South Florida and played for the Bulls from 2009 to 2013.

Daniels was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He played for the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans before retiring in 2015.

In 2021, Montez will be a quarterback for the Seattle Sea Dragons. He attended Del Valle High School in El Paso, Texas. He then attended Colorado where he played for the Buffaloes from 2015 to 2019.

He was undrafted in 2020 but was signed by the Seattle Sea Dragons. He is 26 years old and stands at 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m). Montez has a good arm and can make big plays with his feet. He is a smart player who can read defenses well.

He is a strong leader who commands the huddle. Montez is looking to prove himself in the NFL and has a lot to offer. Montez is a versatile offensive lineman who has played both at guard and tackle in the NFL. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

He made his NFL debut in the Lions' season opener against the Washington Redskins. In the Lions' Week 2 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Montez was a standout performer, helping the team to a 34-27 victory. 

In Week 5, Montez helped the Lions to a victory over the Indianapolis Colts, blocking a field goal in the fourth quarter that helped seal the victory.

Joshua Perkins was undrafted out of Washington in 2016 but was signed by the Atlanta Falcons. Perkins was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks in 2015.

Thomas Fletcher was born on October 1, 1998 in San Ramon, California. Thomas attended IMG Academy where he played football and was a standout long snapper.

He was recruited by Alabama and played for the Crimson Tide from 2017 to 2020. Fletcher was drafted in the sixth round by the Seattle Sea Dragons in the 2021 NFL draft.

He has appeared in one game for the Sea Dragons, helping to snap the ball in a 20-14 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Thomas is currently a long snapper for the Seattle Seahawks.

Ruiz played college football at Arizona State University. He was a two-time All-Pac-12 selection and a member of the Sun Devils' 2017 Fiesta Bowl championship team. In his two seasons at ASU, Ruiz made 116 of 137 field goals (83.6%) and 198 of 210 extra point attempts (94.2%).

Ruiz set the Sea Dragons' franchise record for most consecutive field goals made (11) with a 43-yarder against the San Antonio Talons on July 8, 2018.

On July 17, 2018, Ruiz kicked a 54-yard field goal as time expired to give the Sea Dragons a 55-54 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm.

Connor Hamlett was born in Riverside, California on April 12th 1992. Hamlett attended Lynnwood (WA) Meadowdale High School and played football, baseball and basketball.

Hamlett played college football at Oregon State and was a two-time all-American. Hamlett was undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft but signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hamlett played for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2015-2018 before signing with the Seattle Dragons in 2020.

Hamlett is a tight end and has played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Dragons and Los Angeles Rams. Hamlett has made over 100 receptions in his career and is a two-time Pro Bowler. 

Hamlett is married and has two children. Hamlett is an ambassador for the Special Olympics and has raised over $200,000 for the charity.

Final Words

The Seattle Sea Dragons have had some of the best players in the American football league over the years. Names like Steve Largent, Curt Warner, and Shaun Alexander are just a few of the greats to play for the Sea Dragons.

The team has had a lot of success over the years, and it is only going to continue moving forward.
