Rory McIlroy is a professional golfer who has won numerous tournaments on the PGA Tour and European Tour. In 2007, at the age of 20, McIlroy turned professional and quickly made a name for himself on the tour by winning several events.

Since then, he has continued to win major championships across multiple tours including two majors in 2014 and 2017. Rory McIlroy was born in Northern Ireland in 1989 but now lives in Holywood, County Down with his wife Erica Stoll. 

He has one child with his wife and plans to continue playing golf until he can no longer compete at a high-level Rory McIlroy is a world-class golfer who has won many awards, including two PGA Player of the Year titles.

He first came to prominence on the European Tour and then became one of the most successful golfers in history on the PGA Tour. In 2012, he won his first major championship title at the U.S. Open and followed that up with a victory in 2014 at The Open Championship.

2. Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods is a world-renowned golfer and one of the most successful athletes in history. He has won more than 60 major championships, including 18 Masters titles.

Tiger Woods was born on December 30, 1975, in Cypress, California to Carolyn Bessette and Eldrick Tont Woods Sr. His father was an Olympic gold medalist in track and field who later became a golf coach.

At age 3, Tiger began playing mini-golf with his dad at local courses around Orange County. In 1990 he won his first junior title at the Greater Palm Springs Open Invitational Golf Tournament.

 After graduating from high school in 1994, Tiger entered Stanford University where he played for the university's golf team as well as competed in NCAA events during his freshman year (1995).

In 1996 he won both The UGA Children's Clay Court Championships and The US Amateur Championship, becoming only the third golfer ever (after Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus) to win both amateur majors simultaneously – widely regarded as two of the toughest tournaments to win.

 After completing his undergraduate studies at Stanford University in 1999, Tiger turned professional that year and joined the PGA Tour rookie status; after two years on tour, he achieved full membership status which entitled him to earnings from all official PGA Tour events throughout 2000 onwards.

Tiger finished joint runner-up behind Adam Scott at The Australian Open that same year before capturing back-to-back green jackets by winning The British Open[8], followed by another victory at The UPC Swiss Indoors. 

This made him only the fourth player—joining Bryn Jones (1936–40), Sam Snead (1946–51), and Arnold Palmer (1960) —since World War II to hold every top men’s professional championship trophy available.

Wood shot 69 (-11 under par) on Sunday en route to leading wire-to-wire for an 8th career Major Championship. Became just 2nd man since 1900 with consecutive 64-hole scores over 267 (+14).

Jon Rahm was born in Barrika, Biscay, Spain on 10 November 1994. He attended Arizona State University and turned professional in 2016. His first major win came at the 2017 PGA Championship where he beat Justin Rose by one stroke.

In 2018, Rahm finished second to Jason Day at The Open Championship and won his first European Tour title a week later at the DP World Tour Championship Dubai Desert Classic. 

He is currently ranked number 14 in the world and has an expectation of winning more tournaments this year due to his improved ball-striking ability.

Rahm is one of the most talented young golfers in the world. He has already won major championships on two different tours, and he looks set to continue his success in the future.

In 2000, Mickelson became only the second player in history to win consecutive World Golf Championships events - he followed up his victory at Torrey Pines with a victory at Doral two weeks later.

He has won more than fifty tournaments and has been ranked as high as number two on the PGA Tour. Mickelson is known for his powerful drives, which have helped him win a number of major championships.

Mickelson also enjoys playing exhibitions and charity events, both in the United States and abroad. In 2012, Phil was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame alongside legends like Arnold Palmer and Jackie Robinson.

6. Jordan Spieth

7. Scottie Scheffler

Brooks Koepka currently ranks first on the world rankings, having been overtaken by Tiger Woods for only the second time since March 2017 Brooks Koepka is a professional golfer who has won numerous tournaments on the PGA Tour and other tours.

He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1987. In 2014, Brooks Koepka became the youngest player ever to win on the PGA Tour when he captured the Valspar Championship at just 21 years of age.

 His biggest victory to date came at the 2018 Masters Tournament where he defeated Jordan Spieth by three shots in a playoff for his first major championship title. 

Brooks Koepka also won two majors in 2019 – The Open Championship and U.S. Open – making him one of only four players in history to achieve this feat (the others being Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy).

As well as winning numerous tournaments on tour, Brooks Koepka has also been crowned Player of the Year twice - once by the golfers' association Golf Writers Association of America (GAA) and again by members of the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA).

10. Collin Morikawa

Collin Morikawa is a professional golfer who turned pro in 2019. Collin Morikawa was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Collin Morikawa has played on the PGA Tour and the European Tour since turning professional.

In 2018, Collin Morikawa won the Web.com Tour's season-ending event, The Greenbrier Classic, becoming only the second player to win both an NCAA title (at UC Berkeley) and a PGA Tour event (the Puerto Rico Open). 

With his victory at The Greenbrier Classic in 2018, Collin became eligible to play on one of Europe's main tours for 2019 - the ChallengeTour - which he did later that year with three top 10 finishes including a T-3 at the Julius Baer Swiss Open presented by SCG Invest Sàrl.

Collin married Katherine Zhu in 2022 Collin Morikawa is a professional golfer who has won six times on the PGA Tour. He has also achieved some success on the European Tour, winning four times. 

His best results in major championships have been at the Master's Tournament, where he finished fifth in 2022, and at the PGA Championship, where he won in 2020. 

Morikawa was runner-up twice more during his career - once on the U.S Open circuit and once at The Open Championship. He now works as an analyst for Golf Channel Asia Pacific.

11. Adam Scott

Adam Scott is an Australian professional golfer. He has won two PGA Tour titles, one in 2006 and the other in 2012. Adam Scott also had a runner-up finish at the 2009 PGA Championship, which was his first major championship as a pro.

In 2007, he finished T-5th on the money list to earn his tour card for 2008 and has since played consistently well on the tour including three top-ten finishes in 2011, 2012 and 2014 (his best season) culminating with his second win at The Master's Tournament in April 2015 aged 36 years old becoming only the fourth player ever.

12. Hideki Matsuyama

Hideki Matsuyama is a professional golfer from Japan. He has won 17 times on the professional golf circuit, including two PGA Tour wins and 13 on the Japan Golf Tour.

Matsuyama was born in 1992 in Matsuyama, Ehime prefecture, Japan. He turned pro in 2013 and began playing on the Japanese Golf Tour that same year. 

In 2016 he made his debut on the PGA Tour where he finished runner-up at The Players Championship behind Justin Thomas.

At The Open Championship in 2018, Matsuyama became only the third player to win both a WGC event (the HSBC Champions) as well as an individual major championship when he won The Open at Royal Birkdale. 

His wife Mei gave birth to their first child - a daughter - in December 2017 Hideki Matsuyama is a Japanese professional golfer who has won eight PGA Tour events, three European Tours events, and one Japan Golf Tour event.

Hideki Matsuyama was born in Osaka on 25 March 1987. At the age of 21, Hideki Matsuyama became the youngest player to win a PGA TOUR event when he took the Palmetto Bush Classic title in 2007. 

He went on to win tournaments on both the PGA and European Tours before claiming his first major championship victory at The Open Championship in 2013 aged 24 years old. 

In 2016, he finished fourth at Augusta National and second at The Master's Tournament respectively to take home two more prestigious individual titles that year.

As of December 2022, Hideki Matsuyama holds the record for most wins on tour with eight including three Majors (The Open Championship-2013; Masters Tournament-2016; U S Open-2017).

13. Tommy Fleetwood

 Fleetwood was born in 1991 in Southport, Merseyside, England to Pauline (née Smith) and Thomas Fleetwood Sr., an Englishman who played football for Bolton Wanderers and Liverpool FC respectively before becoming a sports agent.

Growing up, Tommy attended St Bede's School which he left at 18 years old to focus on his golfing career full-time after winning several junior tournaments including the Canada Cup which earned him an exemption into the 2009 British Masters.

Where he finished tied for seventeenth place alongside other young Brits such as Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler, et al.

 From there it was off to America’s elite college amateur circuit where again he performed well enough to retain his Golf Monthly Amateur of the Year title ahead of some big names such as Keegan Bradley et al.

Once back home with more experience under his belt, Tom continued playing events all over Europe but also reached further than ever by competing on both sides of the Atlantic. 

Taking part successfully in three FedExCup Playoffs culminating finally with victory at THE NORTHERN IRISH OPEN held at Royal Portrush Golf Club near Antrim Northern Ireland.

More recently Tommy has been putting together consistent performances both individually AND collectively as part of Team GB’s Men’s World Team Champions side that took out.

The Presidents Cup event last month hosted by Shinnecock Hills Country Club Long Island New York USA beating Sweden.

14. Justin Rose

Justin Rose is a 42-year-old Englishman who has been playing professional golf since 1998. Rose has won six PGA Tour titles, including the 2013 BMW PGA Championship.

He also earned two British Open titles, one at Hoylake in 2006 and another at Royal Lytham & St Annes in 2007. 

In addition to his on-course exploits, Rose is well known for his philanthropic work with various charities and organizations around the world, most notably through his partnership with Jack Nicklaus' Junior Golf Foundation (JGF).

Justin Peter Rose was born on 30 July 1980 in Johannesburg, South Africa to parents of Irish descent. 

After moving to England when he was young, Rose attended The independent school Merchant Taylors' School before turning professional in 1998. They married Kathryn Gill in 2006, and they have two children together.

15. Matt Fitzpatrick

Which earned him membership to Augusta National Golf Club later that year (Augusta being one of only 12 clubs in history to have hosted all four Majors).

Ranked Number 5 globally by PGA TOUR Professional Ratings Rating System since 2018, Matt is considered one of England’s most promising young golfers and is sure to continue making an impact on the global stage for years to come.

16. Jason Day

Jason Day is a professional golfer from Australia. He turned professional in 2006 and has since played on the PGA Tour. Jason Day has won two major championships, the 2013 Australian Open, and the 2016 U.S.

Open, both of which were achieved with long drives off the tee that have been described as "phenomenal". Jason Day is married to fellow golfer Ellie Harvey and they have four children together; his eldest son Jaden was born in 2009 while he was still playing on tour.

Jaydee (as he's known by friends) takes great pride in his family life and frequently posts photos of them online or at tournaments - often winning over fans with his warmth and down-to-earth nature. 

Jason Day is one of the most successful players in professional golf, with seventeen wins on the PGA Tour of Australasia combined with a top ranking.

He has also won three European Tour titles and reached two Masters Tournament finals, although he has never won that tournament. The day was born in Australia but raised in New Zealand where he developed his skills as a junior golfer before turning pro late in 2004. 

In 2015 Day became only the third player ever to win both The Open Championship and the PGA Championship at age twenty-one (the others being Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson).

Burns was born on July 23, 1996 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University and played football for the LSU Tigers before turning professional in 2017.

Burns has represented the United States at the youth level and made one appearance for their U-20 side in 2016. Burns married Caroline Campbell in 2019 and they are currently living in Choudrant, Louisiana together with their two children.

Burns has had a successful career on the PGA Tour, winning five times. Burns has also fared well in major championships, making the cut at both the Master's Tournament and U.S. Open Championship in 2022 and finishing T27th at The Open Championship that year.

Burns is known for his strong play off of the tee and can often shoot low scores in major tournaments due to his consistent accuracy from long-range greenside shots.

19. Matt Kuchar

Matt Kuchar is a professional golfer who has been playing on the PGA Tour for over a decade. He has won 18 tournaments throughout his career, including two major championships - The Masters and the U.S.

Open - both of which he achieved in 2006 and 2007, respectively. Kuchar also boasts five other tournament victories on tour, most notably the 2013 Players Championship, which was his first PGA Tour victory since 2008.

His biggest success to date came in 2016 when he finished as runner-up at The Masters behind Jordan Spieth and claimed his second U.S Open title overall following a memorable final round that saw him card a record 61 points (17 under par).

In 2017 Matt Kuchar once again enjoyed some big results on tour, recording fourth-place finishes at both The Memorial Tournament and the Valero Texas Open before claiming the third spot at THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP for the second year running.

His first win came at The Master's Tournament that same year. Over the years, Westwood has continued to win major championships – most notably at The British Open (2006), PGA Championship (2003) and US Open (2008).

He also claimed a further three Masters titles during his career. In 1999, Lee married Laurae Coltart – with whom he later had two children together before divorcing in 2015. 

Since retiring from competition in 2016, Lee has focused on coaching young golfers and traveling around the world – particularly to play tournaments near his hometown of Newcastle upon Tyne.

21. Max Homa

Max Homa is a professional golfer from the United States. He turned professional in 2013 and has since played on the PGA Tour, winning once in 2016. Max was born in 1990 and attended University of California, Berkeley where he studied economics.

After graduating from college, Max moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to begin his career as a golfer full-time. In 2009, Max won The Junior World Golf Championship which helped him gain entry into the UIL Amateur Golf Championships that same year where he placed second overall behind eventual winner Zach Johnson.

In 2012 and 2013 respectively, Max won two events on tour - the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Texas Open and AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am - both times beating Phil Mickelson along the way; this led to his being nominated for ESPN's ESPY Award for Best Male Golfer (2013). 

As of May 2019, Max had accumulated over $8 million in earnings during his Professional golfing career.

22. Gary Woodland

Gary Woodland is a professional golfer who has won three times on the PGA Tour and twice on the Web.com Tour. He was born in Kansas, but moved to Florida as a teenager to play golf at Palm Beach Country Club with future major champion Justin Rose.
