The Panama National Football Team is a team full of passion and pride for the beautiful game. Representing all three FIFA, CONCACAF and the regional UNCAF, the team has made history in 2018 by qualifying for the FIFA World Cup for the first time.

Román Torres is a Panama international and centre back who has played for both Cartaginés and the national team. He made his professional debut with Cartaginés in 2006, before helping them win promotion to Liga Nacional de Futbol in 2009.

Torres joined Atlético Madrid on loan in 2011, but returned to Panamanian sideCartaginés after just one month because of injury problems. In 2013 he helped Panama reach the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, before joining Villarreal CF on a five-year deal that same year.

After making 73 appearances for Villarreal over five seasons, Torres signed for Deportivo Alaves in July 2018. On 7 September 2018 he scored his first goal for Alaves against Valencia CF, and was subsequently named LaLiga Player of the Month for September.

Michael Amir Murillo is a young Panama defender who has been with Anderlecht since 2017. He started out at Independiente, before moving to New York Red Bull where he made his pro debut in 2019.

Murillo is known for being defensively sound and strong on the ground; qualities that have helped him become an important part of Anderlecht's side over the past two seasons.

Julio Dely Valdés is a Panamanian professional footballer who plays as a striker. Dely Valdés started his career with Atlético Colón, before joining Deportivo Paraguayo in 1987.

He then spent spells with Nacional, Cagliari and Paris Saint-Germain, before returning to Oviedo in 1997. Dely Valdés represented Panama at international level, and won the 1998 Copa América.

He retired in 2000, after winning two Spanish championships with Real Oviedo. Dely Valdés is currently the manager of Atlético Chiriquí. In 2013, he was named the Panama Football Federation's coach of the year.

Dely Valdés was born in Colón, Panama on March 12, 1967. He began his career with Atlético Colón, before joining Deportivo Paraguayo in 1987. He later spent time with Nacional, Cagliari, Paris Saint-Germain and Oviedo, before retiring in 2000.

Aníbal Godoy is a defensive midfielder who currently plays for Nashville SC in the United States. Godoy was born in Panama City in 1990, and started his career with Arsenal, before moving to Europe to play for clubs such as Atlético Madrid and Valencia.

Gabriel Torres is a Panamanian international footballer who plays for Chilean club Universidad de Chile and the Panama national team. Torres began his career with Chepo in 2003, before moving to San Francisco in 2005 on a loan.

Jaime Penedo is a Panamanian goalkeeper who has played for several clubs in his homeland and abroad. He made his senior international debut for Panama in 2006 and has since been a regular member of the team.

Jorge Dely Valdés started his career with Atlético Colón in Panama. He moved to Central Norte in Argentina in 1986 and played for them until 1988. Dely Valdés then moved to Deportivo Paraguayo where he played for two years.

He then moved to Porvenir in Panama where he played for three years. Dely Valdés then moved to Nacional in Panama in 1991. He then moved to Unión Española in Japan in 1993 and played for them until 1994. Dely Valdés then moved to Cerezo Osaka in Japan in 1995.

Dely Valdés retired from football in 1998. He currently works as a football commentator for Panamanian television. Jorge Dely Valdés is a retired Panamanian football player. 

He played for several clubs, including Árabe Unido, Kawasaki Frontale, and Tauro. Dely Valdés made his international debut in 1991 and played for Panama until 2005.

After retiring from playing, Dely Valdés became a manager, most notably managing Panama's U-17 and U-20 teams. He is currently the assistant manager of Tauro.

Ricardo Phillips is a Panama international and former attacking midfielder. He started his career at Atletico San Joaquin in Panama, before moving to English side Crystal Palace in 1998.

After a season at Palace, Phillips moved to Barcelona in 1999. He spent six seasons at the Catalan club, winning La Liga twice and the Champions League once. In 2007, Phillips joined English side Liverpool.

He spent four seasons at the club, winning the League Cup and the Champions League. Phillips then returned to Barcelona, where he spent three seasons before retiring in 2013. Ricardo Phillips has also played for the Panama national team, making his debut in 2000.
