Carmelo Anthony is a two-time NBA MVP and six-time all-star. He was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 2003, and has played for them, the New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Atlanta Hawks and Toronto Raptors.

In 2017 he joined the Houston Rockets as a free agent. Anthony is married to LaLa Vasquez and they have one daughter together named Kiara. 

Carmelo's hometown is Baltimore Maryland where he attended Towson Catholic High School before going on to play college basketball at Syracuse University from 2002 until 2003.

Winning an NCAA Championship in 2004 alongside fellow Syracuse alum Dwayne Wade Carmelo Anthony is an American professional basketball player who has played his entire career with the New York Knicks.

He was drafted by Denver Nuggets in 2003 and spent six seasons there before being traded to the Knicks in 2011. In 2017, he signed with Oklahoma City Thunder where he won a championship that year. 

Anthony then moved on to Houston Rockets for two seasons before returning to Oklahoma City for another title run in 2018-19 season. Melo is considered one of the best players in league history and will likely retire as a Hall of Famer when his playing days are over.

J. R. Smith joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2020 and has been a key part of their championship-winning team ever since. He is known for his shooting skills, and has averaged over 20 points per game throughout his career.

J.R.'s family was originally from New Jersey, where he attended high school at Lakewood before going to St Benedict's Prep in Newark afterwards. 

After spending four seasons with the Hornets, Smith signed with the Golden State Warriors in 2014 and helped them win two championships during that time period as well 5th (2017) 6th (2018).

J. R. Smith was one of the most prolific scorers in Cleveland Cavaliers history and is still a key contributor off the bench. He has won championships with both New Orleans Hornets (2004) and Denver Nuggets (2006). 

In 2012, he led Zhejiang Golden Bulls to Chinese Basketball Association title before signing with Knicks the following year.

J.R.'s scoring average dipped during his time in New York but he remains an important part of their rotation today; averaging 10 points per game since joining them in 2015-16 season as a free agent from Cavs after being waived by Cleveland midway through 2019-20.

The campaign due to trade demands from Boston Celtics ownership group headed up by Danny Ainge Smith scored 41 points on 14-of-25 shooting while filling in for Kyrie Irving.

Who missed Game 5 against Milwaukee Bucks due to injury which propelled Cavaliers into Eastern Conference Finals where they eventually lost 4 games to eventual NBA Champion Boston Celtics 6The 33 year old guard also averaged 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block over.

Hassan Whiteside is a 7-foot center who was drafted by the Miami Heat in the first round of the 2009 NBA Draft. He played four seasons with Miami before signing with Portland as a free agent in 2019.

Whiteside has averaged 14.9 points and 10 rebounds per game over his career, both of which are third all-time among active players behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Shaquille O'Neal. 

He has also won three Defensive Player of the Year Awards, two All-Star games, and one championship medal with Miami during his time in the league.

Hassan Whiteside attended the University of Florida, where he played for coach Billy Donovan. After playing one season in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings, Hassan was traded to the Reno Bighorns. 

In 2013, Hassan signed with Sichuan Blue Whales of China and helped them win a championship that year. The Miami Heat drafted him in 2014 and he has been a part of their team ever since then.

Whiteside received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 2011 after spending two seasons there as a member of its basketball team.

He later spent one season (2010-11) in Sacramento before being dealt to Reno Bighorns on February 15th, 2012.

While playing for Sichuan Blue Whales during the 2013-14 season – which would be his lone stint outside North America - Whiteside won the CBA title while averaging 14 points (.622 FG%, 12 rebounds per game), blocks & 1 steal per contest.

    Michael Beasley is an American power forward and small forward who has played in the NBA since 2008. He was drafted by the Miami Heat with the 2nd overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft and spent four seasons with them before moving to Minnesota Timberwolves in 2013.

    In 2016 he joined the Memphis Grizzlies but was traded to Brooklyn Nets two years later. He announced his retirement from professional basketball on October 10th, 2018 after spending one final season with the Atlanta Hawks.

    Michael Beasley was one of the most high-profile players in the NBA during his time on the court.

    He had a very successful career, winning numerous awards and accolades along the way. Michael Beasley is remembered for his powerful dunks and alley-oops, as well as his long shooting range from beyond the arc.

    Cousins was selected fifth overall in the 2010 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings. In his first season with the Kings, Cousins won rookie of the year honors.

    After two seasons with Sacramento, Cousins was traded to New Orleans Pelicans in 2013. With New Orleans, Cousins helped them make it to the playoffs each of his three years there before being traded again in 2017 to Golden State Warriors where he has since played out the rest of his career.

    Cousins was drafted with the fifth overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings. Cousins has played for five teams in his eight-year career, including three seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans. 

    In 2016, he was traded to the Golden State Warriors and helped them win their first championship since 1974.

    He is a two-time All-Star and won an MVP award in 2017 with Golden State. Cousins will be a free agent this offseason and there are reports that he is interested in returning to the Warriors.

    Barnes was drafted seventh overall by the Golden State Warriors in 2012. Barnes played for the Golden State Warriors from 2012-2016 and then joined the Dallas Mavericks in 2016.

    A point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Australian national team, Dellavedova has averaged 12.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game in his NBA career.

    Dellavedova played college basketball at Saint Mary's before being drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013 without playing a single professional game. He was traded to the Toronto Raptors in 2015 and then signed with the Cavs prior to the 2017–2018 season. 

    Where he has stayed ever since despite rumors of potential moves elsewhere throughout his tenure with Cleveland; including during this past off-season when talks of him joining. 

    Kawhi Leonard on Los Angeles Lakers was rampant but ultimately fell through due to contract issues between both players' agents (Leonard eventually joined Philadelphia).

    Matthew will turn 33 years old later this year and as such may not have much left in terms of high-level play after spending most of his time recently battling injury problems. 

    However he remains one of Australia's most decorated athletes having won several medals at international competitions across different sports (most notably rowing) along with accolades from various fan bases around the globe for what he brings on the court each night.

    Tyreke Evans was a four-time All-Star and two-time scoring champion in the NBA. He helped lead the Sacramento Kings to an appearance in the 2013 NBA Finals, where they were defeated by LeBron James and the Miami Heat.

    After leaving Sacramento, Evans signed with New Orleans Pelicans, but he was traded to Memphis Grizzlies just before the start of the 2019–20 season. Evans is a prolific scorer who can shoot from anywhere on the court and has excellent ball-handling skills for a point guard or shooting guard.

    Although his playing career may be coming to an end, Tyreke Evans remains one of the most decorated players in basketball history with numerous accolades including five MVP awards and three championship rings as part of a successful career that also saw him win Rookie of The Year honors in 2009.

    Paul Millsap is a 2017–2018 All-Star and 2-time Defensive Player of the Year. He was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 2006 and has played for them since then, except for one season where he spent time with the Atlanta Hawks.

    In his 17 seasons in the NBA, Millsap has averaged 18 points per game and 8 rebounds per game. His contract with the Denver Nuggets expires at the end of 2020, so it will be interesting to see what he does next year. Millsap is a versatile player who can play both forward positions.

    Millsap was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 2006 and has played for them since then. He is a three-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Second Team selection, as well as being WAC Player of the Year twice. 

    In 2013, he signed with the Atlanta Hawks and has been there ever since - making him one of only six players to have stayed with one team throughout their NBA career so far.

    Millsap will miss part of the season after undergoing surgery on his left thumb but is expected to make a full recovery in time for next year's campaign hopefully. 

    Paul loves playing against fellow countryman Damian Lillard, stating that they are "two gunslingers going at it."

    Gordon Hayward was a standout player at Butler, and he was drafted by the Jazz in 2010. Hayward has been with Utah for six seasons, averaging 18 points per game over that time.

    He has also played for the Boston Celtics and Charlotte Hornets in his career. In 2017, Hayward helped lead the Jazz to their first playoff appearance since 2016. Gordon Hayward was born on October 22nd, 1988 in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

    Gordon Hayward attended Butler University where he played college basketball for the Bulldogs from 2005-2008. After graduating from Butler with a degree in communications, Hayward was selected by the Boston Celtics as the ninth overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft.

    In his rookie season (2008-2009), Gordon Hayward averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds per game while playing alongside future Hall of Famers Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce on Team USA at the FIBA U-19 World Cup. 

    In his second year (2009-2010), Hayward increased his scoring average to 14 points per game as he led Butler to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance before losing to Florida State in overtime in the Sweet 16 stage.

    In 2011-2012, Gordon Hayward's stats decreased slightly as Boston struggled early into the season but finished strong winning 47 games and making it all the way to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat before eventually losing 103–101 after leading by as many as 23 points midway through 3rd quarter. 

    Hayward's numbers started increasing steadily again starting from 2012 onwards culminating with him becoming an All-Star starter for Boston during the 2016-2017 campaign averaging 26 points 8 assists 4 rebounds per contest which helped lead them to their fourth championship trophy since 2007.

    Derrick Favors was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 15th, 1991. Favors attended South Atlanta High School and played for the varsity basketball team there from 2006-2008.

    Favors then went to play for Georgia Tech, where he became a two-time All-American and helped lead the Yellow Jackets to their first-ever ACC Championship in the 2009-2010 season.

    After his college career ended, Favors entered the 2010 NBA Draft but was picked up by the New Jersey Nets instead of staying in school another year. 

    In his rookie season with the Nets (2010–2011), Derrick averaged 9 points and 7 rebounds per game while playing 34 games off the bench that year; helping them reach the playoffs as well before they were eliminated by eventual champions Miami Heat in 5 games.

    The next few seasons saw Derrick develop even more as an all-around player - averaging 13 points and 10 rebounds per game during the 2013-2014 campaign whilst starting 49 out of 82 games played.

    followed by 16 points and 11 boards per contest during the 2014-2015 campaign which resulted in him earning his first All-Star Game selection.

    Vince Carter was born on January 26, 1977, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Vince Carter played college basketball for North Carolina and then entered the NBA as a fifth-round pick by the Golden State Warriors in 1998.

    In his nine seasons with the Toronto Raptors (1998–2004) and New Jersey Nets (2004–2009), Vince Carter averaged 21.5 points per game and made three All-Star appearances.     Eric Gordon is a 34-year-old shooting guard and small forward who has played in the NBA since 2008. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers as the seventh overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft.

    Brooks has played in the NBA for 13 seasons, most notably with the Houston Rockets. Brooks is a two-way liaison on the Knicks' coaching staff and works extensively with point guards Brandon Jennings and Frank Ntilikina.

    Marcus Smart is a versatile point guard and shooting guard who was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2014. In his rookie season, Marcus Smart averaged 8.8 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal per game while playing for the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League.

    Tony Parker is a French-American professional basketball player who played for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. He was drafted by the Spurs in 2001 and has since made over 700 appearances, scoring more than 20,000 points along the way.
