The Mountain West Conference (MW) is a collegiate athletic conference that was formed in 1999, and is now one of the major conferences in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).

With member schools spread throughout the western United States, the MW has become an important part of college sports, offering a wide range of athletic opportunities for its member schools.

Gloria Nevarez has been the MW Commissioner since 2018 and has worked to promote the competitive and educational values of the conference.

Robinson was a highly touted recruit coming out of high school, and he played basketball for two powerhouse programs in Cathedral (Los Angeles) and Centennial (Las Vegas).

He entered the NBA as a rookie with the Miami Heat in 2019. Robinson averaged 5.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.8 blocks per game over 58 games played that season.

In 2020–21, Robinson started all 82 games for Miami and averaged 12 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block per game while shooting 46% from the field and 36% from the three-point range across 397 total minutes.

Joel Anthony is a Canadian general manager for the Montreal Alliance. He has been with the team since it's inception in 2006 and has helped guide it to two CEBL championships (2008, 2010).

Anthony played college basketball at Pensacola before turning professional. Since retiring from playing in 2009, he has focused on his role as GM for the Montreal Alliance. 

Joel Anthony was a center and power forward who played in the NBA for seven seasons, most notably with the Miami Heat. He won two championships as part of the 2012-13 Miami Heat team that featured LeBron James and Dwayne Wade and also helped Boston to an appearance in the 2014 NBA Finals. 

In 2018-19 he joined San Lorenzo of Argentina’s Liga Nacional de Básquet where he led his team to their first-ever title – becoming just one of three players. 

(alongside Dirk Nowitzki and Pau Gasol) to win titles in both Europe’s top basketball competition (Liga ACB) and in America’s National Basketball Association/International Basketball Federation (NBA/IBF).

Neemias Queta was born on July 13, 1999 in Barreiro, Portugal. He attended F.C. Barreirense high school and played for the team from 2009 to 2017 before being drafted by the Sacramento Kings in the 2021 NBA draft.

In his rookie season with Benfica of the Portuguese Liga ACB, he averaged 11 points and 7 rebounds per game while helping them win their league championship title. 

With the Sacramento Kings, he has appeared in 74 games (all starts) over two seasons and averages 8 points and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 53% from the field overall and 41% from three-point range.

Neemias Queta is a center for the Stockton Kings of the NBA G-League. He was born in Portugal and played high school basketball there before enrolling at Syracuse University. 

In his three years with Syracuse, he averaged 10 points and seven rebounds per game while shooting 54% from the field overall and 41% from downtown. 

After leaving college, Queta spent time playing in Europe where he had success with clubs such as FC Barcelona Bàsquet (Spain) and Olympiacos Piraeus (Greece).

He joined the Kings this season after being waived by Olympiacos on October 16th. In 15 games for them so far this year, Queta has averaged 8 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal per contest while shooting 62% from the floor overall and 50% from 3-point range.

Danny Granger was born in 1983 and played college basketball at Bradley. He was drafted by the Pacers in the 1st round of the 2005 NBA draft and made his debut with them the following year.

Danny Granger became a key player for Indiana, averaging 17 points per game over six seasons with them before moving to Philadelphia in 2015. 

Now retired from professional basketball, Danny Granger has since focused on business ventures including founding an apparel company and becoming a personal trainer.

Danny Granger is a former Indiana Pacers player who was drafted in the first round of the 2005 NBA draft. Danny Granger played for Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat before retiring in 2015. 

Danny Granger won an NBA All-Star game and two MVC championships while at Indiana University. Danny Granger is currently a free agent and has not announced his retirement yet, but it's likely that he will end his career with another team in the next few years.

Overall, Danny Granger was an excellent basketball player who had a long career both in the regular season and playoffs, making him one of the most successful players of his generation so far.

1. Brandon Clarke was born on September 19, 1996, in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

2. He is a Canadian / American power forward who played collegiately at San Jose State and Gonzaga.

3. In the 2017–2018 season, he averaged 11.8 points and 7 rebounds per game for the Spartans while leading them to an appearance in the NCAA Tournament as a 14 seed before losing to Purdue in the first round.

4. The following year he averaged 12 points and 8 rebounds per game for Gonzaga during their run to the Elite Eight where they fell to Kansas despite his 21-point performance in overtime of their semifinal matchup with UCLA which included 10 rebounds off the bench.

David Roddy was born in 2001 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a small forward for the Memphis Grizzlies and played college basketball at Colorado State before being drafted by the Grizzlies in 2019.

David has been widely praised for his athleticism and plays with a high level of intensity on both offense and defense. David is known for his strong shooting ability from outside as well as his defensive prowess off the ball which has seen him become an important part of Memphis' roster over recent years.

Zylan Cheatham played collegiate basketball for South Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona. He was drafted 45th overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2017 NBA G League draft and has since been playing with their affiliate Birmingham Squadron.

Zylan is a small forward who shoots 38% from three-point range and 78% from the free throw line. In March 2018, he helped lead the Birmingham Squadron to victory in the G-League playoffs championship game against Santa Cruz Warriors 101–93.

Zylan Cheatham is a 6'6'' shooting guard from San Diego State. He was undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, but signed with the New Orleans Pelicans shortly after. In his first season with the Pelicans, he averaged 9 points and 3 rebounds per game playing off the bench.

The next year, Zylan scored 13 points per game while starting at shooting guard for the Erie BayHawks of the NBA G League - helping them to an appearance in the playoffs where they were defeated by eventual champions Toronto Raptors 2-1 in best-of-three series. 

Despite not making it past round one of any playoff tournament yet, Zylan's scoring average has increased each year since entering into professional basketball; this suggests that there is potential for him to be a highly successful player if given consistent opportunity and coaching support over time.

Matt Bradley is a shooting guard from Rancho Cucamonga, California who currently plays for the San Diego State Aztecs in the Mountain West Conference. He was named to the All-Mountain West Second Team as a junior and senior after averaging 17 points and three rebounds per game over his college career.

Bradley has played with USA Basketball on several occasions, most notably at the 2017 FIBA U19 World Cup where he helped lead Team USA to their fourth straight title. The 23-year-old is considered one of the top young prospects in this year's draft class, being ranked second overall by ESPN behind only Duke freshman Zion Williamson .

Bradley is a two-time Second Team All-Pac-12 player who was drafted by the San Diego State Aztecs in the 2021 MLB Draft.

J. R. Giddens was born in 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and attended John Marshall High School. After playing college basketball at Kansas and New Mexico, he was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2008 and played for them until 2019.

His best seasons came during the 2012-13 season when he averaged 13 points per game and made three consecutive All-Star appearances before retiring at the end of that year due to injury . He is currently a commentator for NBA games alongside analyst Ernie Grunfeld on CBS Sports Network .

J.R. Giddens is a British sociologist who specializes in the theory of structuration, which examines how social structures shape individual behavior and vice versa. 

He has written extensively on topics such as power, knowledge, and class structure, and his work has had a significant impact on modern sociology.

Giddens was born in 1948 in north London, England and currently lives in Spain with his wife Patricia Ackerley-Giddens. 

He received his Phd from University College London in 1976 for studies that focused on the development of functionalist thought within French sociology during the 1950s and 1960s; he also held postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University (1981) and Yale University (1985).

In 1994 he was elected to membership of the Royal Society by fellow members for "his distinguished contributions to contemporary sociology. J R Giddens passed away on November 1st 2018 after a long battle against pancreatic cancer.

Jordan Schakel is a shooting guard and small forward who played collegiately at San Diego State. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the 2018 NBA G League draft.

In his rookie season with the Delaware 87ers, he averaged 14 points per game on 43% shooting from 3-point range and 6 rebounds per game. 

Schakel signed with the Utah Jazz as an unrestricted free agent in July 2019 and made his debut for them later that month against Orlando Magic, recording 5 points on 2-of-5 shooting before being ejected late in regulation due to a Flagrant 1 foul committed while attempting to fight back down an opposing player after getting fouled himself.

This would be his only appearance for Utah during the regular season, although he did make one more appearance (in a blowout loss) off of the bench in their first playoff series against.

Fredette played for three different teams during his time in the NBA but never really found success on a consistent basis. After spending two seasons overseas, he signed with the Phoenix Suns where is currently playing under new head coach Igor Kokoskov.

Rafael Araújo was born on August 12th, 1980 in Curitiba, Brazil. He played college basketball at Arizona Western and Brigham Young University before being drafted by the Toronto Raptors in the 2004 NBA Draft.

Rafael spent four seasons with the Raptors before signing with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013. In 2014 he signed a two-year deal with French club Monaco but was released after one season there. 

Rafael currently plays for Brazilian team Flamengo Santander where he is their captain and leading scorer for both of their FIBA Champions League campaigns to date (2016–17 & 2017–18).

Rafael Araújo was drafted with the 27th pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz. In his rookie season, he played for the Spartak Saint Petersburg of Russia and averaged 9.6 points and 4 rebounds per game. 

He then moved to Brazil, joining Flamengo where he had a successful 2nd season averaging 16 points and 6 rebounds per game before being traded to Paulistano in 2010-11.

Rafael's 2011-12 season was cut short due to an ACL tear but after returning from injury he helped Franca reach the playoffs where they were eliminated by Pinheiros in 5 games.

Nance was drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans with the 27th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft. He has since played for the Pelicans, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Portland Trail Blazers.
