The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the most storied teams in the National Basketball Association. With a rich history that dates back to 1989, they have been representing Minneapolis and their fans with honor for over 30 years.

The team has seen some great successes throughout its time in the NBA, including going to eight playoff appearances since 1996 and even making it as far as the Western Conference Finals during that same period.

Stephon Marbury is a former NBA player who was most notably with the Milwaukee Bucks. He had a successful playing career, averaging 23.1 points and 5.7 assists per game in his 14-year career.

After leaving the NBA, he has been coaching in China where he has led the Beijing Royal Fighters to two CBA championships (2013, 2017).

Stephon Marbury was born on February 20th, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York and attended Abraham Lincoln High School before going onto play college basketball at Georgia Tech University where he won three NCAA Championships (1996–1998).

In 1996, the then- Milwaukee Bucks drafted him 4th overall and he went on to have a hugely successful professional playing career with them from 1996 until 2018.

When they traded him to Boston Celtics for Kyrie Irving Stephon Marbury is a three-time NBA All-Star and two-time Third Team All-NBA player. He played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, New Jersey Nets, Phoenix Suns, and the Knicks before coaching in China with Beijing Royal Fighters from 2019 to present.

Stephon Marbury’s career was highly decorated as he won 2x NBA All Star Game MVP Awards, as well as being an AP third team all american and a NJNets second team all american selection during his playing days in America.

Latrell Sprewell was one of the most dominant shooting guards in NBA history. He is sixth all-time in scoring with 27,664 points and third all-time in three point field goals made with 2,291.

After a stellar high school career at Washington (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), Latrell went on to play for Alabama before being drafted by the Golden State Warriors in the 1992 NBA draft. 

In his 12 seasons as a pro, Latrell won four titles with Golden State and also played for the Utah Jazz, New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks before retiring from professional basketball in 2005.

Nowadays, Latrell resides back home in Milwaukee where he works as an analyst for Fox Sports 1's coverage of the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament Latrell Sprewell was one of the most explosive players in NBA history. 

He averaged over 20 points per game throughout his career and helped lead several teams to playoff appearances. Sprewell had a number of run-ins with authority figures in the league, including David Stern, which resulted in him being suspended multiple times.

Despite these issues, he is still fondly remembered by many for his stellar play on the court and unique personality off it. After hanging up his sneakers, Sprewell went onto have a successful broadcasting career with Turner Sports and ESPN.

Butler was originally selected by the Chicago Bulls in the 2011 NBA draft. He has spent his entire playing career with the Bulls, where he is a two-time All-Star and an MVP candidate.

Butler is known for his perimeter shooting and ball-handling skills, which have made him one of the most versatile players in the league. He announced his retirement from professional basketball on May 15th, 2019 after missing most of the 2018–19 season due to injury.

Jimmy Butler is an All-Star and 5-time NBA Defensive Second Team member. As a Chicago Bull, he averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds per game while shooting 50%. He has also been named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team five times in six seasons with the Bulls.

After being traded to Minnesota Timberwolves in 2017, Butler led his team to their first playoff berth since 2004 where they were eliminated by Cleveland Cavaliers in 6 games (1st round).

In 2018 Jimmy signed with the Philadelphia 76ers averaging 22 points and 8 assists off the bench en route to winning Rookie of The Year honors from both The Sporting News and Basketball Insiders Awards. Also, Third Team All-NBA honors from the Associated Press panel (behind Kyrie Irving & DeMar DeRozan).

On July 6th, 2019 Jimmy was traded along with Tobias Harris and two future 1sts for Kemba Walker who had just completed his fourth season with Charlotte Hornets averaging 27 PPG 7 RPG 4 APG.

It happened when he was acquired by Miami Heat making him their all-time leading scorer at 29,596 career points, not including playoff performances which would bring that total up to over 30K.

Martin was a shooting guard who played in the NBA for ten seasons. He started his career with the Sacramento Kings and then moved to Minnesota, where he had two successful seasons.

In 2013, Martin signed with the New York Knicks but only lasted one season before retiring from professional basketball. After retirement, Martin has focused on coaching and managing youth teams in his home state of Ohio.

Martin played college basketball at the University of Minnesota, where he was a two-time first-team All-SoCon selection. Martin went on to play for the Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets in the NBA before joining the Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves, and San Antonio Spurs over his career.

Al Jefferson is a former NBA center and power forward. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2004 and played for them from 2004-2018. Jefferson had an impressive career with Minnesota Timberwolves before joining the Hornets in 2018.

His 8 seasons with Boston are some of his most successful, as he averaged 18 points and 9 rebounds per game during that time period. 

Jefferson's best season came in 2011-12 when he averaged 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists per game on 53% shooting from the field (all stats via Basketball-Reference).

Al Jefferson was drafted 9th overall in the 2005 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. Al Jefferson had an impressive college career at Kentucky, where he won two NCAA Championships and was a Second-team All-American.

In his rookie season with Utah, Jefferson averaged 14 points and 7 rebounds per game. He helped lead the Jazz to their first playoff appearance in over 8 years that year.

Ricky Rubio was born on 21 October 1990 in El Masnou, Spain. He played for Joventut Badalona from 2005 to 2009 and FC Barcelona from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, he joined the Minnesota Timberwolves and has remained with them since then.

Rubio is a Point Guard and has been playing in the NBA since 2005. With the Utah Jazz, he made it to the semi-finals of the 2017 NBA Playoffs before being eliminated by Golden State Warriors in five games; this was his first playoff appearance as a player for Utah Jazz.

Ricky Rubio is currently a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers Ricky Rubio is a two-time EuroLeague champion and FIBA EuroChallenge MVP.

D'Angelo Russell was drafted second overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2015 NBA draft. D'Angelo averaged 19.4 points, 5.9 assists, 3 rebounds and 1 steal per game as a rookie for the Timberwolves in 2016-17 season.

In 2017-18 season, he averaged 23 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds per game while shooting 41% from three point range en route to being named an All-Star for the first time in his career.

Sam Cassell was an assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers. He played in the NBA for 13 seasons and averaged 12 points, five assists, and three rebounds per game.

Sam Cassell is from Baltimore, Maryland, and attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High School before going on to play college basketball at Maine Central Institute.

Chauncey Billups was a three-time All-Star and two-time NBA champion point guard who played for the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons, and Portland Trail Blazers over 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

In his first season with the Denver Nuggets in 1997–98, he helped lead them to their only playoff appearance that season. He then joined the Boston Celtics in 2000 where he won his first championship ring as part of the team's 'Big Three' alongside Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.

After leaving Boston in 2004, Billups signed with Detroit where he spent six years before joining LA Clippers on a free-agent deal at the end of the 2011–12 campaign. He retired from playing following the 2014 season with Portland Trail Blazers. 

As head coach of Portland Trail Blazers from 2019 until 2021, Billups led them to playoff berth each year but they were unsuccessful in winning any games during this period including being eliminated by eventual champions. 

Golden State Warriors 4–1 in the 2020 Playoffs Semifinals Series which ended his coaching career prematurely.

Kyle Anderson was selected 30th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2014 NBA draft. He played college ball at UCLA and helped them win two NCAA championships (2013, 2014).

After going undrafted in 2014, Anderson signed with the Memphis Grizzlies and has been a key player for them ever since. In 2017, Kyle Anderson joined the Minnesota Timberwolves as they prepared to make an appearance in the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.

This past season, Kyle Andersen averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game while shooting 46% from 3-point range on his way to being named an All-Star for the second consecutive year. Kyle Anderson was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in 2014. 

He played for the Austin Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies before joining the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2018.

Kyle is a versatile player who can play both forward positions well. His accolades include being named Third-team All-American by AP, SN (2014), and First-team All-Pac-12 (2014).

Jeff Teague was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the 2009 NBA draft and he made his debut with them that season. In 2015, Teague led the Atlanta Hawks to their first ever championship win against Cleveland Cavaliers . 

The following year (2016), Jeff won his second title with Boston Celtics becoming one of only four players to do so in their rookie or sophomore seasons along with Kobe Bryant , Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan .

In 2017, he joined forces with fellow All-Stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins to form one of the most exciting young cores in basketball history when they were traded to Minnesota Timberwolves.

Randy Foye is an American shooting guard and point guard who has played in the NBA for ten seasons. He was drafted seventh overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2006 NBA draft and has since played for Minnesota Timberwolves, Washington Wizards, Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic.

Foye's best season came in 2012–13 when he averaged 16 points per game with career-highs of 3 assists and 2 rebounds. In 2017, he signed with Denver Nuggets but was traded to New Orleans Pelicans just two months later before retiring at the end of that season due to injury concerns.

Dieng is a promising center who has carved out a solid career in the NBA. Selected 21st overall by the Utah Jazz in the 2013 NBA draft, Dieng has spent his entire professional career with them.

A skilled scorer and defender, Dieng was one of Louisville's most valuable players during his time there. In 2017-2018, he led Minnesota to their first-ever playoff appearance after averaging 16 points and 9 rebounds per game over 60 contests played.

Laettner was a dominant power forward and center during his career in the NBA. He was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the third overall pick in 1992, and he played for them until 2005.

Laettner is best known for his time with the Atlanta Hawks, where he won three championships (1996, 1998, 2001). Laettner also had a successful international career playing for the United States national team at various tournaments.

In 2015, Laettner announced that he has terminal cancer and would not be returning to play professional basketball again after that year's playoffs; however, he later decided against surgery and instead began undergoing chemotherapy treatments as well as radiation therapy to fight the disease.

Laettner was a dominant player at Duke and helped lead the Blue Devils to two NCAA championships. Laettner also won an NBA title with the Detroit Pistons in 2000, and he later coached with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Karl-Anthony Towns is an American power forward and center for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the NBA. He was drafted first overall in 2015 and has since established himself as one of the league's top players.

The town is a versatile player who can play either frontcourt position, making him difficult to defend on both ends of the court. His offense is potent, averaging 22 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks per game this season.

Zach LaVine is a 27-year old shooting guard and small forward for the Chicago Bulls. He was born in Renton, Washington, on March 10th 1995. LaVine attended high school at Bothell in Washington before going to UCLA where he played from 2013 to 2014.

He was drafted 13th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2014 NBA draft but never made it onto their roster due to injury problems that plagued him throughout his career up until now (2017).

Kevin Love is a six-foot-eight inch power forward and center for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA. He attended Lake Oswego High School in Oregon before playing college basketball at UCLA.

Malik Sealy was a talented small forward and shooting guard who played in the NBA for several seasons. Sealy died of a heart attack at the age of 30, leaving behind a wife and two young children.

Sealy was born in 1970 in Bronx, New York and attended Tolentine High School before playing college basketball for St John's University from 1988 to 1992. In 1992, Sealy was drafted by the Indiana Pacers as 14th overall and he spent four seasons with them before joining the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1998.

After spending one season with them, Sealy joined the Philadelphia 76ers where he made his only appearance during the 2000 playoffs - losing to eventual champions Miami Heat 4-1 in round 1). 

Sealy died on May 20 2000 after experiencing chest pain while driving home from work Malik Sealy was a consensus second-team All-American in 1992 and won two Haggerty Awards.

After playing for the Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves during his career, he retired in 2000. Malik Sealy is most notably remembered for his outstanding rebounding numbers which led him to be called "theRebs" by fans and teammates alike. 

In 1999, he was selected to play in the NBA All-Star Game but did not participate due to injury; this would be his only selection to an all-star game while playing in the league.

Luka Garza is an American power forward and center who was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 2021. He played college basketball for Iowa before being selected 52nd overall by the Pistons.

In his rookie season, he averaged 7 points and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 44% from three-point range. In 2022–23, he improved his averages to 15 points and 10 rebounds per game while also shooting 47% from three-point range.

Tom Gugliotta was born on December 19, 1969 in Huntington Station, New York. He played college basketball for NC State and was drafted sixth overall by the Washington Bullets in the 1992 NBA draft.

Gugliotta spent seven seasons with the Bullets before moving to Golden State in 1995. He retired from professional basketball following the 2005 season at age 34 due to injury concerns. 

Tom is currently an assistant coach with the Philadelphia 76ers organization and has also served as a commentator for TNT broadcasts of games featuring his former teams, the Wizards and Warriors respectively, since 2013-14 season onwards Tom Gugliotta was a standout player for the Minnesota Timberwolves from 1995 to 1998.

He then played with the Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, and Atlanta Hawks before retiring in 2005. During his NBA career, Tom Gugliotta averaged 13 points per game and 7 rebounds per contest.

Taj Gibson is a professional basketball player who has played for the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat and Washington Wizards in his career. 

Taj Gibson was born on June 24th, 1985 in New York City and attended high school at Stoneridge Prep in Tarzana, California before attending Calvary Christian in San Fernando Valley.

After graduating from high school, Gibson attended two colleges; Telecommunication Arts and Technology (now known as Brooklyn College) where he majored in Communications Studies and then transferred to Southern Cal University but dropped out after one year to enter the NBA Draft. 

On June 28th, 2009, Gibson was drafted by the Chicago Bulls with the third overall pick of the 2009 NBA draft and made an immediate impact during his rookie season scoring 14 points per game off the bench en route to being named Rookie of The Year Award Winner.

Tyrone Corbin was born on December 31, 1962 in Columbia, South Carolina. After playing college basketball at DePaul, he was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in 1985.

He spent 11 seasons with the Spurs before joining the Charlotte Hornets as head coach in 2004. Under his guidance, the Hornets made it to two consecutive NBA Finals (2007 and 2008), but they were defeated both times by the Miami Heat.

Nikola Peković is the President of the Basketball Federation of Montenegro. Peković has been a basketball official for many years, including serving as the Vice President of the Montenegrin Basketball Federation.

Peković was elected President of the Basketball Federation of Montenegro in April 2021. Peković is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. Peković is married and has two children.

Peković is a member of the Board of Directors of Montenegrin Airlines. Nikola Peković was born in Bijelo Polje, SR Montenegro, SFR Yugoslavia in 1993. Peković played basketball for Atlas and then for Ada in his home country before joining Partizan in Serbia.

Moore was selected 26th overall in the 2022 NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks. Moore played college basketball at Duke, where he was a two-time All-American and led the Blue Devils to the NCAA Championship in 2019.

Moore has since signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he is expected to contend for a starting spot. Moore has a versatile game, capable of playing both forward positions. Moore is a hard worker who is always looking to improve his skills.

Moore is a young player with a lot of potential, and he is sure to make a name for himself in the NBA. Moore was a McDonald's All-American and Jordan Brand Classic participant as a high school senior in 2019. 

Moore averaged 16.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game as a junior at North Carolina. Moore declared for the 2019 NBA draft but was not selected. Moore signed with the Iowa Wolves as a free agent in March 2020. 

Moore made his NBA debut on April 5, 2020 against the Utah Jazz and recorded two points, one rebound and one assist in 26 minutes. Moore appeared in all 82 games for the Wolves in his rookie season and averaged 4.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists.

Moore was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. Moore signed a two-year contract extension with the Wolves in June 2021. Moore was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2019-20.
