Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player who has won four Grand Slam singles titles, including two at Wimbledon. He was born in 1987 and turned pro in 2003.
Djokovic boasts an 83% career win percentage which places him third on the all-time list of singles champions behind Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
In 2011, he became the first player since Rod Laver to hold all four Grand Slam men's singles titles simultaneously - meaning he had also won the US Open that year as well 2 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events (Indian Wells and Miami).
Djokovic announced his retirement from competitive tennis in September 2018 but returned to competition partway through 2019 season with mixed results thus far Djokovic is a five-time Grand Slam singles champion and two-time doubles champion.
Djokovic has won 62 out of his 77 career singles matches, an impressive 44.6 percent win rate. The Serbian superstar has had some amazing partnerships with players like Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer, who have helped him win multiple Grand Slam titles together.
Djokovic was ranked number one for 302 weeks in the history of the ATP World Tour rankings (from August 2003 to October 2009).
He announced his retirement from professional tennis in November 2018 after capturing his 18th major title at Wimbledon that same year; however, he made a return to competition in 2019 following hip surgery and now resides on the second court at Flushing Meadows Racquet Club.

Rafael Nadal is a ten-time Grand Slam champion and one of the greatest tennis players in history. He was born on June 3, 1986, in Manacor, Mallorca, Spain.
Nadal began playing professional tennis at the age of 16 and quickly became one of the world's top players. In 2008 he reached No. 1 in the rankings for the first time and held that position until 2013 when he lost to Novak Djokovic.
Since then, he has won four more Wimbledon titles (2014–2017), two US Open Championships (2012; 2017), as well as three French Open Championships (2011; 2012; 2016). Overall his record stands at 1067 wins with 219 losses - 83%.

3. Roger Federer
Federer is one of the most successful tennis players of all time and has won numerous accolades, including 17 Grand Slam titles. Federer was born in Basel, Switzerland and started playing tennis at a young age.
In 1998, he turned professional and quickly made a name for himself on the ATP tour. Federer has long been considered one of the greatest athletes in history and holds many records, including being the only player to win seven Wimbledon championships (2006-2016).
Federers retirement from professional tennis was announced in February 2022 after 20 years as a top performer on the ATP circuit. He currently coaches younger players alongside longtime coach Peter Carter but hasn't ruled out returning to competitive play in the future.
Roger Federer is a tennis legend and one of the greatest athletes in history. He has won numerous championships, including 10 Wimbledon titles and six US Open titles. Roger Federer was born in Switzerland on 18 January 1981.
Roger Federer made his professional debut at the age of 17, and went on to win many major tournaments throughout his career, including two Australian Opens and three French Opens.
Roger Federer retired from competitive play after the 2017 ATP World Tour Finals tournament, but he remains a popular figure within the sport -
he recently participated in exhibition matches against Rafael Nadal. Roger Federer has been married to Mirka Vavrinec since 2009; they have two children together.
4. Pete Sampras

Pete Sampras was born on August 12, 1971 in Washington D.C., U.S. He turned pro in 1988 and retired from professional tennis in 2002 after winning 14 Grand Slam titles including seven consecutive Wimbledon Championships between 1990-1996 and 1997 .
Wimbledon title making him the first male player to hold all four major championships at once - men's singles, doubles with partner Jim Courier, mixed doubles with Steffi Graf and wheelchair tennis with Jens Klausing After retiring.
He became a coach for various players such as Tim Gullikson (1992–1995), Vitas Gerulaitis (1994 Rome) and Paul Annacone (1995-2001).
Pete Sampras married Bridgette Wilson in 2000 Pete Sampras was one of the greatest tennis players to ever play. He retired in 2002 after winning 7 grand slam titles including 4 Wimbledon championships, and 2 US Opens.
Pete is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist. In 1991 he became the first player in history to win all four Grand Slam singles tournaments (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open).
At his peak, Sampras had an 81% career winning percentage which is still currently the highest amongst active male professional athletes in any sport.

Andre Agassi was one of the greatest tennis players in history. He won 14 Grand Slam titles, including three Wimbledon championships and two US Open championships.
Andre Agassi retired from professional tennis in 2006 after winning a record-breaking number of singles tournaments.
However, he continues to play exhibition matches and is also a coach for younger players.
Andre Agassi was born on April 29th, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nevada. After turning pro at age 16, he went on to win numerous singles titles and set records along the way.
Andre Agassi has always been known for his explosive serve-and-volley game; however, he can also hit powerful groundstrokes with either hand if need be.
In 2006 Andre Agassi became only the second male player (after Rod Laver) to achieve career grand slam doubles success with different partners – partnering Leander Paes at the Australian Open that year.

Rod Laver is one of the most successful tennis players in history, with 1689 singles wins and 538 career titles. He first achieved prominence as a professional in 1963, but it was his performance at the 1969 US Open that saw him crowned champion for the second time.
Laver's success continued into the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, with several more championships to his name - including three Grand Slam victories (at Wimbledon, Australian Open and U.S. Open).
In 1981 he became an International Tennis Hall of Fame inductee alongside legends such as Bill Tilden and Don Budge.
Rod Laver is the most successful male tennis player of all time, with 28 career titles. He was a dominant doubles player, winning two Grand Slams with partner Ken Rosewall. Rod Laver also had a very successful professional career, reaching No. 11 on the ATP rankings in 1971 and 1972.
8. Jimmy Connors

Connors is one of the most successful tennis players of all time and holds a record for most singles titles. Connors first rose to prominence on the professional tour in 1972, winning his first major title that year at the US Open.
He went on to win 109 titles during his career, including 11 majors (the most of any player).
Connors reached No. 1 in 1974 and held this ranking for seven months before losing it to World No. 2 Ilie Năstase. After retiring from playing professionally in 1996, Connors became an ESPN commentator and later served as coach of former world number one Pancho Segura.
In 1998, he was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame Connors was a dominant player in the late 1970s and early 1980s, winning 16 Grand Slam singles titles.
Connors had an impressive record against top players of his era, defeating them 68% of the time. After retiring from professional tennis in 1990, Connors coached several top players including Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras.
9. Ivan Lendl

Ivan Lendl is one of the most successful tennis players in history, with 18 ATP singles titles and 94 career wins. He was born in Czechoslovakia in 1960, but moved to the United States when he was just a child.
Ivan started playing professionally in 1978 and quickly became one of the best players on the circuit. He won his first major title at Wimbledon in 1984 and went on to win six more Major Championships over the next thirteen years – including two consecutive US Open Championships (1986-87).
In 1992, after years of dominating professional tennis, Ivan retired from competition due to injuries sustained during a match against Boris Becker.
Since then, Ivan has been involved in several business ventures – most notably owning an ice cream company called “Ivan’s Ice Cream” which he founded with his wife Christine.
In 2001, he was inducted into International Tennis Hall of Fame as part of its inaugural class alongside Federer, Sampras, Agassi and Martina Navratilova.
Currently aged 62 years old, Ivan is still actively involved within both professional sport and business circles – having served as President for former World No 1 Rafael Nadal's foundation since its inception back in 2013.

Björn Borg is one of the most successful tennis players in history, with a career record of 654–140 (82.4%). He first became famous in 1973 when he came back from retirement to win the Open Era title.
After losing two finals in 1982 and 1983, Björn Borg won eight more titles over his career. In 1987, he was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame and retired from professional play later that year.
He has since been involved in coaching and broadcasting, working as a commentator for both Swedish television and Wimbledon broadcasts throughout the years In 1972, Borg became the youngest player (17 years and 283 days) to win a Grand Slam title at the Australian Open.
In 1975, he won his fourth Wimbledon singles championship and third US Open singles championship.
Borg was one of tennis' greatest all-rounders, winning 82 career titles including 47 doubles championships. He retired from professional tennis in 1981 but made occasional appearances until 1993 before fully retiring in 1996.
In 2006, he was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame and in 2007 received an Honorary Doctorate from Lund University in Sweden where he had attended school as a child.
Björn Borg is also known for his work with charities such as Unicef which helped save millions of children's lives worldwide through programs like "Save The Children".
11. Carlos Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz is a Spanish professional tennis player who turned pro in 2018. He has a career-high singles ranking of World No. 119, achieved in October 2018.
His best result to date came at the Monte Carlo Masters, where he reached the third round before losing to Roger Federer.
Alcaraz also made it through to the second round of the Barcelona Open and Madrid Open tournaments this year, but lost both matches in straight sets against seed players Milos Raonic and Marin Cilic respectively.

Andy Murray was born in 1987 in Glasgow, Scotland, where he began playing competitively aged four for Britannia Boys Club alongside future world No1 Andy Roddick.

13. Daniil Medvedev
Daniil Medvedev is a Russian professional tennis player who has achieved success on the ATP Tour and in Grand Slam main draw matches. He currently holds the No.
1 ranking, which he attained in February of this year. Daniil Medvedev was born on February 11th 1996 in Moscow, Russia and began playing tennis at an early age.
His family has a long history of involvement in tennis; his father Sergey played professionally and coached Daniil from a young age.
After progressing through junior tournaments, including winning two ITF titles, Daniil made his ATP debut in 2014 at the Dubai Open aged 18 years old where he reached the quarterfinals with wins over Nikoloz Basilashvili and Ernests Gulbis .

14. Felix Auger Aliassime
Felix Auger Aliassime is a 22-year-old Canadian tennis player who has won four titles on the ATP Tour and reached a career high ranking of No. 6 in November 2022.
Born in Montreal, Canada, Felix Auger Aliassime started playing tennis at age 4 and quickly developed into one of the top junior players in his country.
In 2017, he made his professional debut and soon became one of the most promising young players on the ATP Tour.
His best performance to date came at the French Open where he advanced to the semifinals before losing to eventual champion Novak Djokovic 3–6, 7–5, 7–6(7/5). Outside of tennis, Felix is an avid soccer fan and supports AS Monaco FC throughout their seasons domestically and internationally.
Felix Auger Aliassime is a French professional tennis player. He has achieved some success in the ATP World Tour, including reaching two doubles finals and ranking No. 60 in the world at one point.
Born on September 21, 1997, Felix Auger Aliassime started playing tennis at an early age and quickly rose through the ranks of junior tournaments before making his professional debut in 2018.
In 2019 he reached his first doubles final with fellow Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga but fell short to eventual champions Stan Wawrinka and Pierre Hugues Herbert of Switzerland by four sets to three.
The following year saw him reach another doubles final this time with Italian compatriot Fabio Fognini but they were once again defeated by Swiss duo Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka in straight sets – marking their third consecutive Grand Slam title together as well as their fourth overall.
Despite having several singles wins under his belt (including a victory over Rafael Nadal en route to qualifying for Wimbledon).
It was partnering Tsonga for the second time that would see Felix Auger Aliassime achieve global fame – winning both the Australian Open and French Open titles during their partnership in 2020 respectively.
15. Hubert Hurkacz
Hubert Hurkacz is a Polish tennis player who reached a career-high ranking of No. 10 in November 2022. Hubert Hurkacz has won five singles titles on the ATP Tour and one title on the Grand Slam circuit, both at the Australian Open.
In 2020, Hurkacz became only the second player (after Roger Federer) to win two consecutive editions of the Australian Open men's singles championship, and he also captured his first Roland Garros title that year as well.
He was born in Wrocław, Poland in 1997 but moved to Monaco with his family when he was six years old; this eventually led him to pursue an athletic career in tennis rather than football or rugby like many other young athletes from his hometown region did at that time period.

17. Stefanos Tsitsipas
Stefanos Tsitsipas is a Greek professional tennis player who has gone on to achieve great success on the ATP tour in recent years. He has won nine singles titles, including three Grand Slams and two Masters tournaments.
Stefanos was born in 1998 in Vouliagmeni, Greece and started playing tennis at a young age with his father accompanying him to training sessions.
After some successful junior seasons, Stefanos turned pro in 2016 and quickly made an impact by reaching the third round of the Australian Open that year. Later that year he also reached the semifinals of Wimbledon before losing to eventual champion Novak Djokovic.
In 2017, Stefanis continued his good form by winning both Indian Wells and Miami Masters where he became only the fourth man ever (after Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal & Andy Murray) to win two consecutive Masters 1000 events after ALSO winning Monte Carlo earlier that season.
His 2018 season saw him reach another final at Rome where he narrowly lost against Juan Martin del Potro; however, his biggest achievement came later when he triumphed over Roger Federer for his first career title at Basel World Championships.
Earning himself € 2 million as well as becoming number one in world rankings for just over a week. As we approach 2019 it looks like Stefanos is gearing up for yet another busy calendar which includes competing.

18. Casper Ruud
Casper Ruud is a professional tennis player from Norway. He has an ATP singles career record of 171-93, and he's won nine titles in that time. Ruud made his debut on the ATP tour in 2015, and since then he's climbed up the rankings to become No.
2 as of September 2022. His main strengths on court are his powerful groundstrokes and serve, which have helped him win many matches against top players in both singles and doubles competitions over the years.
Outside of tennis, Casper Ruud is also involved with several charities work including raising money for cancer research projects - something that he feels very passionately about after losing close family members to cancer diagnosis at young age himself.

19. Andrey Rublev
Born in Moscow, Russia, Andrey Rublev is a professional tennis player. He has won 12 ATP singles titles and reached the No. 5 ranking on the ATP Tour in 2021.
Rublev's best results have come at Grand Slam tournaments - he made it to the Quarterfinals of the Australian Open in 2019 and was runner-up at Wimbledon that same year.

Dimitrov is a Bulgarian professional tennis player who has amassed 373 singles wins in his career. He first rose to prominence on the ATP Tour in 2008, when he reached the semifinals of the Australian Open and was runner-up at Wimbledon that year.
Dimitrov went on to win five titles at Roland Garros (2012, 2013, 2017, 2018), three majors (Wimbledon 2014, US Open 2016, Australian Open 2018) as well as other major tournaments such as the French Open and Indian Wells Masters.

Thus meaning these lesser known players would often put up better performances against top players knowing they had nothing to lose while those ranked higher might feel pressure from winning their 4th or 5th major championship.

Simply put lower seeded/lesserknown player typically play better vs established stars knowing there is no need for extra motivation.

27. Ken Rosewall
Ken Rosewall was born in Sydney, Australia on November 2nd, 1934. Ken rose to fame as a professional tennis player and achieved great success during the 1960s and 1970s.
He is now widely considered one of the greatest players of all time. His career record shows that he won over seventy percent of his singles matches - an impressive feat for any player.
In 1980, Ken became International Tennis Hall Of Fame member after being voted into place by fellow professionals around the world. Outside of tennis, Ken has also had a successful business career and continues to support numerous charities throughout New South Wales today.
Ken Rosewall was a world-class singles player who won 14 Grand Slam titles, including three at the Australian Open and two each at Wimbledon and the US Open. He also won doubles titles at all four majors with different partners: Dick Crealy, Pancho Gonzales, Marty Riessen and Tony Roche.
Born in 1920 in Queensland, Australia, Ken Rosewall made his professional debut in 1946 and went on to win 63 pro singles matches (a record that still stands).
In 1953 he teamed up with Rod Laver to become the first players ever to win all four Grand Slam tournaments in one year - a feat they repeated the following year.

Bill Tilden was a Tennis Hall of Famer and one of the most successful players in history. He won 138 singles titles and held the No. 1 ranking for over three years.
Bill Tilden was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on February 10th, 1893. At age 16 he started playing professionally and quickly became one of the best players in the world.
In 1931 he reached his greatest success when he won his first Wimbledon title (the only man to do so). He continued to be one of the top performers throughout the 1930s and 1940s, winning several more major championships along the way.
In 1946, at age 45, Bill Tilden retired from professional tennis with a record of 1726 wins-506 losses (.77%). After retiring from competition he served as an umpire for a number of years before passing away in 1953 aged 60 after a long battle with cancer.
29. Frances Tiafoe

Frances Tiafoe is a 24-year-old American professional tennis player. She was born in Hyattsville, Maryland and turned pro in 2015. Tiafoe has won one singles title on the ATP tour - the French Open in 2022.

30. Cameron Norrie
Cameron Norrie is a left-handed tennis player from New Zealand. At the age of just 27, Cameron Norrie has already achieved a number of impressive professional titles, including two ATP World Tour Finals and one ITF Men's Circuit title.
In 2017, he became the first New Zealander to be ranked in the top 100 on the ATP World Tour since 2003.

In October 2018, he suffered an ankle injury that ruled him out of the remainder of the year's ATP World Tour tournaments, including Wimbledon and US Open; however, he returned in time for the
2020 Australian Open where he lost in the second round to Novak Djokovic Fabio Fognini is married to Brazilian singer Anitta with whom he has two sons - Matteo (born 2016) and Valentino (born 2018).
Fognini started playing tennis at the age of 5. He won his first ATP Tour title in 2007 and his first Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open in 2014. In doubles, he has won two titles with partner Simone Bolelli - both at the French Open - as well as a third together with Fernando Verdasco at Wimbledon.
Fognini is known for his powerful serve-and-volley game and was ranked world No 1 for three weeks during November 2015, but then lost some ground to younger players due to injury problems .
He retired from professional tennis after losing in the quarterfinals of Roland Garros 2018, having reached an all-time high ranking of No 7 earlier that year before taking a break while pregnant/nursing newborn son Toni Juliani (in 2019).
Fognini will be making a return to competitive play later this year when he competes in Italy's Fed Cup tie against Spain.
33. Richard Gasquet
Richard Gasquet is a professional tennis player who has won several singles and doubles titles. He was born in 1986 in Béziers, France. He turned pro in 2002 and has since competed on the ATP World Tour reaching a career-high world ranking of No.
6 in August 2017. In 2005, he reached his first Grand Slam final at the French Open where he lost to Roger Federer in straight sets.
Gasquet also appeared at the Australian Open once more that year but again failed to make an impact, this time losing to David Nalbandian 4–6, 7–6(7), 6–1, 7–5 in the fourth round after having taken two set points against the Argentinean top seed.
At Wimbledon 2009 he made it into three quarterfinals before being beaten by Rafael Nadal 3-6, 6-4, 7-5; however his run included victories over Andy Murray (in five sets) and Nikolay Davydenko (in four).
The following year saw him reach another Grand Slam semifinal at Roland Garros but lose narrowly to Novak Djokovic 1-6, 2-6 while also beating Stan Wawrinka en route to reaching his third Wimbledon semifinals – this time losing out 5-7 , 6 -3 , 10 -8 to eventual champion Djokovic.
Two years later Gasquet reached yet another semifinal stage at both US Open and French Open but could not convert these successes into championships as he fell short against Nadal for a second time at Roland Garros then lost narrowly again against Djokquist at Flushing Meadows – ending up runner up behind Federer for only the second time of his career.
34. Gaël Monfils
Gaël Monfils is a French professional tennis player. He turned pro in 2004 and has competed on the ATP World Tour since 2006. In 2019, he reached his first Grand Slam final at the French Open, where he lost to Roger Federer in straight sets.
Monfils has also won several titles on tour including two Masters 1000 tournaments (Indian Wells and Miami) as well as three Premier Mandatory events (Gstaad, Madrid, Rome).
His biggest success came in 2018 when he became the world number one for the first time after winning four ATP Masters 1000 tournaments that year – Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Hamburg and London Olympics Games – en route to becoming only the fifth male player ever to achieve this feat.
Outside of tennis, Monfils is known for being a philanthropist through his foundation Gaël & Friends which supports causes such as fighting cancer or promoting equality between women and men around the world.
As of February 2020, he was ranked No 4 in singles by Tennis Magazine. Born into a family with strong sporting ties - both of his grandfathers were Olympic athletes - it's no surprise that Gaël Monfils enjoys playing sport himself whether it be football or cricket during his free time off court.
Like many professional athletes today however Gaël does have an unhealthy addiction to food which can often distract him during matches but thankfully coach Mikael Tillstrom helps keep things under control.

Borna currently resides in Dubai with his family but will continue playing for Croatia internationally which includes Davis Cup matches starting from 2019 onwards.
In doubles competition Coric has enjoyed some success too being crowned champion of Serbia's Challenger circuit partnering Filip Poljaković back-to-back in Belgrade 2014 & 2015 then qualifying for the main draw of an ATP 250 event – Kitzbühel – along.

39. Sebastian Korda

Sebastian Korda is a 21-year old American tennis player. He turned pro in 2018 and has since won one title, the Monte Carlo Masters in 2022. Sebastian Korda is known for his powerful two-handed backhand.
In January 2019, he was ranked No 31 in the world by the ATP rankings system. Sebastian Korda is a professional tennis player who has competed in the main tour since 2018.
He made his debut on the ATP Tour at the Australian Open, where he lost in the first round to Andrey Rublev.
Korda then played in France and reached his first career final at Roland Garros, but was defeated by Rafael Nadal. At Wimbledon he again faced Nadal, this time losing in straight sets; however, he did manage to win one doubles title with Mate Pavić during that period.

Together they went on to reach two finals - one ATP Masters 1000 event at Indian Wells and another WTA Premier 5 event at Madrid - before parting ways prior to their third attempt at an ATP/WTA Final later that year (the eventual winner being Nikoloz Basilashvili).
Returning stronger than ever for 2020 campaign, Sebastian started things off well by making it all the way through the qualifying rounds of both the Australian Open and French Open without dropping a set before reaching quarterfinal stage each time.
Which unfortunately resulted him having less success against top players afterwards although still managed some noteworthy wins against Robin Haase, Alex Zverev etcetera along the way including unseating.

His biggest achievement to date has been winning two Australian Open singles tournaments – in 2014 and 2015 – which makes him one of only four men ever to do so.
