Ja Morant was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies as the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft. Ja Morant is a point guard who played college basketball at Murray State.

He has led his team to two straight playoff appearances and is averaging 19 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds per game this season. 

Ja Morant is one of only six players under age 24 to average at least 20 points, five assists, and three rebounds in an NBA season so far (the others are Kyrie Irving, Donovan Mitchell, DeAndre Ayton, Kristaps Porzingis, and LeBron James).

Ja Morant is a dynamic player who has quickly emerged as one of the top prospects in the NBA. Morant was named to an All-NBA Second Team and Rookie of the Year in his first season, proving he's capable of big performances on both ends of the floor. 

He led NCAA players with 19 assists and averaged 20 points per game for Murray State this year, helping them win their second OVC Championship title in three years.

Marc Gasol is a Spanish center who has played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, and Girona of the Liga ACB since 2003. 

He is one of the most decorated players in European basketball history, having been named EuroLeague MVP twice (2013–14 and 2017-18), as well as three times winner of the La Liga Best Forward Award (2008–09, 2010–11, 2011-12).

In 2013 he joined Pau Gasol on Barcelona's all-time scoring list with 24,364 points in 542 games. At age 37 he remains one of the best centers in the NBA and signed a four-year/$144 million contract extension with Memphis earlier this season. 

Marc Gasol was born January 29th, 1985 in Barcelona to parents from Galicia; his father José Máximo García was also a professional basketball player.

Who competed internationally for Spain at various levels including FIBA Europe Cup Winner Cup with the FC Barcelona team that featured future Hall-of-Famer Lluís Vives.

Randolph was a power forward for 13 seasons in the NBA, with stints with the Trail Blazers and Knicks. 

Randolph is one of only two players to score 20,000 points and grab 10,000 rebounds in his career (the other being Wilt Chamberlain).

Randolph has been suspended multiple times by the NBA for suspensions totaling more than 100 games over his career. 

In 2019, Randolph announced his retirement from professional basketball after 17 seasons in the league Randolph is a two-time All-Star and an NBA Most Improved Player.

Randolph has averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds in his career. He was drafted by the Clippers in 1998 and played there until 2007 when he joined Memphis. 

In 2013, Randolph won his second All-Star game MVP award with the Grizzlies before moving to Sacramento in 2017.

Pau Gasol is a retired professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association for 16 seasons. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 2001 and spent his entire career with them.

Pau Gasol is a two-time NBA champion, winning titles with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2008 and 2009 before joining the Los Angeles Lakers in 2014. He also won a championship with the Chicago Bulls in 2016. 

In 2020, Pau Gasol will join FC Barcelona as their new center fielder and leader on both sides of the ball.

Given his experience playing at such a high level, he will be an important part of Barça's bid to win La Liga and Europe's top club competition, the UEFA Champions League.

Pau Gasol is a Spanish basketball player who has played for the Milwaukee Bucks and FC Barcelona. He is a two-time NBA champion and six-time All-Star.

Pau Gasol was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2002, but he only spent one season with them before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks where he won his first championship in 2006.

 In 2008, Pau Gasol signed with the Los Angeles Lakers and helped them win three championships between 2010 and 2013, including their most recent title in 2016.

Pau Gasol announced his retirement from professional basketball after playing for Spain at the World Cup this year, winning MVP honors as a result.

Mike Conley Jr. is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Utah Jazz in the NBA. 

He was born on October 11, 1987, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and played college basketball at Ohio State before being drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2007.

Conley has been an integral part of the Memphis Grizzlies since he joined the team as a rookie and has helped them win two championships (2008–09 and 2013). 

He is also a three-time All-Star (2012, 2014, 2017) and was named to the NBA's All-Defensive First Team in 2016.

Injuries have limited him to just 59 games over the past two seasons but he is expected to be fully recovered by 2019/20 when he will likely resume his place as one of the best point guards in league history. 

Mike Conley Jr. is a professional basketball player who has played for the Memphis Grizzlies and Utah Jazz in the NBA.

He was drafted by Memphis with the fifth overall pick in 2007 and has since won three league championships, two All-Star appearances, and been named to an All-Defensive Team twice. Born in Dayton, Ohio on March 7th, 1984, Conley attended Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson. 

Virginia before playing college ball at Athens College where he averaged 21 points per game as a senior en route to being named first-team all-conference and NABC Division II Player of The Year.

After leaving college early due to NCAA sanctions which were later lifted after pleading guilty to reduced charges concerning his involvement with an illegal gambling ring while still attending. 

Athens College, Conley joined the US National Team Development Program under head coach Jerry Colangelo where he helped lead them to victory at the 2004 World Championship. 

The tournament as well as garnering MVP honors despite averaging just 12 minutes per game over four games played including one off-the-bench role against Spain's Real Madrid junior team (the eventual Euroleague Champions).

Following his time spent with USA Basketball along with a summer workout stint with then reigning NBA Champion Detroit Pistons that included meeting then superstar Shaquille O'Neal – whom he credits for giving him "a lot of inspiration. Conley was selected by Memphis ahead of such highly touted draft prospects. 

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh during what turned out to be one of franchise history’s most successful picks ever despite having only appeared in 41 games. 

Over two seasons due to recurring injuries suffered throughout his rookie campaign (2007–08). Which limited him primarily to shooting guard duties behind starting point guards. 

Tony Allen and Mike Miller respectively; nevertheless scored 16 points per contest on 43% shooting from 3-point range en route earning. 

Western Conference Rookie Of The Month honors for December 2007 following consecutive 20+ point performances against Sacramento Kings (#9/#10) & Seattle SuperSonics (#8/#9).

Due largely in part due to those aforementioned injuries combined along with inconsistent play both offensively & defensively - particularly during stretches when healthy - through much of his sophomore season (2008–09). 

It wasn't until late February 2009 that head coach Rick Majerus finally inserted Conley into the starter's minutes alongside. Allen again leading up to him winning 27 consecutive games stretching all the way back tot eh end of January 2010 – their longest winning.

Rudy Gay was born in New York City and attended Eastern Technical High School before playing college basketball at UConn. After being drafted by the Houston Rockets, Gay played for them from 2006 to 2014.

In January 2015, he signed with the Sacramento Kings and has since been their starting small forward. Rudy Gay has averaged 18 points per game over his career and is a three-time All-Star (2010, 2012, 2013).

Rudy Gay is a veteran player in the NBA who has played for Memphis, Toronto, and Sacramento. He's known for his scoring ability and was an All-Rookie First-Team selection in 2007. In 2017, he joined San Antonio and has since been playing well for them - averaging 19 points per game this season.

Gay is married with three children and lives in Utah where he works as a radio personality with KSL Radio 97 FM.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is a power forward for the Memphis Grizzlies, who was drafted 4th overall in 2018. As a collegian at Michigan State, Jackson averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds per game while shooting 52% from the field and 80% from the free throw line.

He has already made an impact in his rookie season with averages of 14 points and 6 rebounds per game playing 30 minutes per contest off the bench for Memphis. At just 23 years old, there's plenty of room for growth still for Jaren Jackson Jr., who is expected to be one of the stars of this NBA season and beyond.

Selected by the Memphis Grizzlies with their first-round pick in 2018, Jaren Jackson Jr. has quickly become one of the most promising young players in the NBA. 

Averaging 16 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks per game this season, Jackson is already a standout defender and potential All-Star candidate. 

With his high basketball IQ and athleticism, there's no doubt that Jackson will continue to develop into an elite player both on and off the court for years to come.

Battier spent nine seasons in the NBA, playing for the Miami Heat. Battier was a key player on several playoff teams during his career, and he helped the Heat win two championships in 2012 and 2013.

Battier is currently a consultant with the Miami Heat organization. Battier was born in Birmingham, Michigan, and attended Detroit Country Day School before going to Duke University. 

After being drafted sixth overall by the Vancouver Grizzlies in 2001, Battier played small forward for Memphis Grizzlies (2002–2004), San Antonio Spurs (2005–2007), Boston Celtics (2008–2009), and finally Miami Heat (2010-2014).

Shane Battier holds numerous records as an NBA player; these include the most 3-pointers made during a season (246), most games started without fouling out (1,049), the highest free throw percentage (.848). 

Among players who have taken at least 1,000 shots from beyond half court since 2003/04 season onwards and second all-time behind Kobe Bryant's .868%.

Tony Allen is a three-time All-Star and two-time champion with the Memphis Grizzlies. In his 10-year NBA career, Tony has averaged 17.7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal per game while shooting 43% from the field and 36% from behind the arc.

He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2004 after playing college ball at Butler County CC in Illinois. 

With Milwaukee Bucks he won a championship in 2013 as well as a playoff series against Toronto Raptors that went to seven games before they were eliminated finally by Memphis Grizzlies who swept them 4-0 in the 2016 playoffs finals).

After spending one season with Atlanta Hawks he signed with Spanish club Real Madrid for the 2018/2019 season but had to retire due to an injury on December 16th of that same year (a torn Achilles tendon). 

Allen is one of the most decorated players in NBA history with six championship rings and three All-Defensive First Teams. Allen was a key player on some of the Memphis Grizzlies' best teams, including their run to the Western Conference Finals in 2017.

He has also been an excellent defender at both point guard and shooting guard positions throughout his career. One knock against Allen is that he doesn't have much scoring ability outside of mid-range shots, but he's still a very valuable player overall. 

Allen will be 39 years old when the season starts and may not have many more seasons left in him, so it'll be interesting to see how he performs as time goes on. 

Overall, Tony Allen has been an elite defender for over 20 years and should continue to be regarded as one of the all-time greats.

Miller was a high school standout in Mitchell, South Dakota before playing college ball at Florida. He was drafted fifth overall by the Orlando Magic and played there for three seasons before being traded to Washington in 2009.

Miller spent six seasons with the Wizards before joining Memphis in 2017-18. He has won two NBA championships (with Orlando in 2010 and with Washington in 2013) as well as an Olympic gold medal with Team USA during his career. 

As a coach, he served as an assistant coach under Rick Carlisle on several teams including the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons, winning Coach of the Year honors twice while doing so along the way Mike Miller was a two-time NBA champion and Sixth Man of the Year winner with the Memphis Grizzlies.

After playing for three teams in five seasons, he signed with the Miami Heat in 2010 and helped them to win titles in 2012 and 2013. He then spent one season with Cleveland before joining Houston as an assistant coach in 2018.

Jonas Valančiūnas is a center for the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA. He was drafted fifth overall by the Toronto Raptors in 2011 and has since played for Memphis Grizzlies, Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius, and Toronto Raptors.

Valančiūnas is one of only two players (the other being DeMarcus Cousins) to record at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks in an individual game twice during his career.

 In 2019 he signed with Memphis Grizzlies until 2021 after spending time with Toronto last season where he averaged 11 points and eight rebounds per game before having surgery on his right ankle which sidelined him for six weeks.

Despite this setback, he finished fourth in voting for the Most Improved Player Award behind James Harden (Houston Rockets), Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors), and Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers).

Dillon Brooks was born in 1996 and is 26 years old. He played college basketball for Oregon from 2014 to 2017, where he averaged 13.4 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game over his career.

Dillon was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft (45th overall). He has yet to make an appearance for the Grizzlies but is expected to join their roster soon as a shooting guard or small forward.

Dillon Brooks was a highly-touted recruit coming out of high school, and he showed why with his play at Memphis. He is an outstanding defender who can shut down opponents one-on-one or help lead a team in defense. 

His offense is versatile and able to score in multiple ways - from inside and outside the paint, as well as on the low block.

Brooks has consistently improved throughout his career, making him a key player for any team looking to make a run in the playoffs. He will be an important part of Canada's quest for gold at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim was a highly successful power forward in the NBA. He played for the Vancouver Grizzlies from 1996 to 2001. Abdur-Rahim became known as one of the most skilled big men in the league, and he helped lead Vancouver to two playoff appearances during his career.

After leaving the NBA, Abdur-Rahim began coaching at various levels of basketball, including stints with both Division III Golden State University and Arizona Wildcats programs before getting his current job at Syracuse Orange in 2018 where he has led them to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances so far this season.

Abdur-Rahim had a successful NBA career, playing for the Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Sacramento Kings. He was an All-Star and Third-Team All-American at Arizona State University before being drafted in the first round by the Portland Trail Blazers in 1997. 

Abdul-Rahim's success continued in the NBA as he averaged 18.1 points per game over his 13 seasons with three different teams.

He won two championships with Portland (2005–2006) and one with Sacramento (2008). Abdur-Rahim announced his retirement from professional basketball after 14 years on May 10th of 2018. 

After that, he will work as a television analyst for Turner Sports where he will also coach some young players in their development programs.

O. J. Mayo was born on November 5, 1987, in Huntington, West Virginia to parents who both played college basketball. O. J. Mayo attended Rose Hill Christian Academy and then North College Hill before transferring to Huntington for his final two years of the high school play.

After three seasons at the University of Kentucky, where he averaged 18 points per game as a junior and 21 points per game as a senior, OJ signed with the Mavericks in 2013 after being drafted sixth overall by Dallas that year.

Bryant Reeves was born on June 8, 1973, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. After playing college basketball at Oklahoma State, he was drafted sixth overall by the Vancouver Grizzlies in the 1995 NBA draft.

He played for the Grizzlies until 2001 and then spent time with several other teams before retiring from professional basketball in 2003. 

Reeves has since worked as a commentator for various sports events and served as an assistant coach at his alma mater Oklahoma State University from 2006 to 2009.

In 2010, Bryant Reeves published his memoir entitled "Blood Feud: My Life Against Bill Russell". The book tells his story of facing off against one of history's greatest players. Bryant Reeves was a star player at the University of Kansas, where he averaged 21 points per game. 

After being drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies in 1995, Bryant quickly became one of the team's key players and helped them to two playoff appearances during his time there.

In 2001, Bryant was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers and went on to have a successful career with them before retiring in 2007. Bryant is currently an assistant coach for Team USA men's basketball and has also served as head coach of their U16 squad. 

He is widely considered one of the best small forwards ever played and will go down as one of the greatest KU alumni ever.

Swift was born on November 21, 1979, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Swift attended high school at Fair Park in Shreveport before going on to play college basketball for LSU from 1998-2000.

After playing two seasons of NCAA Division I hoops for the Tigers, Swift was drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies as the 2nd overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft. Swift spent his entire 10-year career with the Grizzlies, appearing in 563 games and averaging 14 points and 7 rebounds per game across that span.

Mario Chalmers is an American point guard who has played for the Miami Heat in the NBA. Chalmers attended high school at Bartlett in Anchorage, Alaska, and played college basketball for Kansas.

He was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2008 but never made it past their developmental league team before being traded to Miami two years later. In 2015, he signed with Memphis Grizzlies but only lasted one season there before returning to Miami where he currently plays.

Chalmers is a three-time All-Star player and had his best statistical year in 2014–2015 when he averaged 15 points per game and 4 assists Chalmers played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks and was a two-time NCAA champion. 

Chalmers was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2009 and won an NBA championship with them in 2012 and 2013.

Chalmers has also been successful in the FIBA Champions League, winning a title with AEK Athens in 2019. In 2020, Chalmers helped lead Indios de Mayagüez to their first-ever Greek Cup victory. 

He is currently playing for Virtus Bologna of Italy's Serie A league system. Chalmers is well known for his scoring ability on both offense and defense; he has scored over 16,000 points during his professional career thus far.

His jersey number 15 was retired by the Kansas Jayhawks back in 2018 as a mark of respect for one of America's best players to come out of college hoops.

Chucky Atkins was a talented point guard who played in the NBA for seven seasons. He started his career with the La Crosse Bobcats and later played for Cibona Zagreb and Orlando Magic.

After playing sparingly during his first two years in the league, he became a key player on Orlando's playoff teams of 2000 and 2001. In 2003, Atkins signed with Denver as a free agent and helped lead them to their first-ever championship title that season.

He went on to play for Memphis Grizzlies, Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics (where he won an Eastern Conference Championship), and New Orleans Hornets before retiring in 2010.

Bibby was a point guard who played in the NBA for 12 seasons. Bibby is best known for his time with the Vancouver Grizzlies, where he led them to two playoff berths and an appearance in the 2006 NBA Finals.

Bonzi Wells was a 6'5" shooting guard/small forward who played for 10 seasons in the NBA. He attended Ball State, where he led the Cardinals to the 1997 NCAA Championship game before being named Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
