The Los Angeles Wildcats are a professional American football team based in the greater Los Angeles area. Owned and operated by Vince McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment, they joined the newly-formed XFL league for its inaugural season of 2020.
The Wildcats play their home games at Dignity Health Sports Park and bring an exciting brand of competitive football to fans throughout southern California. Led by head coach Winston Moss, the LA Wildcats look to be one of the premier teams in this new era of spring football.

Johnson was a fifth round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for them from 2008 to 2011, winning a Super Bowl with them in 2010.
Johnson was signed by the San Francisco 49ers after his release from Tampa Bay and started 12 games for them in 2012 before being released at the end of that season.
He then had a short stint with the Sacramento Mountain Lions before returning to San Francisco as their backup quarterback in 2013, helping lead them to victory in the 2014 NFC Championship game over Seattle Seahawks and another Super Bowl appearance following their win against New England Patriots this time convincingly 43-8.
Johnson retired at the end of 2017 but made one last comeback attempt during Week 17 of 2018 playing 3 quarters against.
Arizona Cardinals who lost 35-23 despite him completing 21/37 passes for 262 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions which resulted him retiring again for good this time.

Nelson Spruce is a wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams. He was undrafted in 2016 but signed with the team later that year. Nelson has played college football at Colorado.
He had over 1,000 yards receiving in each of his three seasons there and was named to two All-American teams. In 2016, Nelson had a breakout season with the Rams and caught 47 passes for 592 yards and four touchdowns.
His 47 receptions were second on the team only to Robert Woods' 54 catches that season. Nelson is known as an excellent route runner who can get open deep downfield by using his speed and quickness off the line of scrimmage.
He also possesses good hands and body control when catching the ball in traffic.
The 30-year-old from Westlake Village, CA entered into 2018 as one of Jared Goff's favorite targets after recording career highs across all major statistical categories (touchdowns, receptions & yardage) during 2017 campaign.
While playing under head coach Sean McVay He'll be counted upon to provide production opposite Sammy Watkins this fall as Los Angeles looks to rebound from another disappointing showing en route to Super Bowl 52.

Oakman is a defensive end who was drafted by the Bismarck Bucks in 2018 but did not play for them. He went on to sign with the West Virginia Roughriders and played for them in 2019.
Oakman had a breakout season in 2020, recording 12 sacks and helping the Los Angeles Wildcats reach the playoffs. In 2021, Oakman signed with the Toronto Argonauts where he has continued to be one of their top defenders.
Shawn Oakman is coming off a Grey Cup championship with the Toronto Argonauts. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 7th round of the NFL Draft, but elected to play in Canada instead.
Oakman started his career strong with the Argos and recorded 16 sacks over two seasons before being traded to Saskatchewan midway through his third season. In 2018, he had 11 sacks for Toronto and helped lead them to their first ever Grey Cup victory.
After playing out his contract with Toronto, Oakman signed a one-year deal with Baltimore prior to this season where he has once again been dominant recording 10 sacks so far this year alone.

Tre McBride is a wide receiver for the New York Jets. He was drafted in the 7th round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. McBride played for them from 2015 to 2016, and then signed with the Jets in 2017.
He has had some success with the Jets, playing in all 16 games each season since joining them. Tre McBride is 30 years old and stands at 6' 0" tall and weighs 210 lbs Tre McBride is a rookie receiver for the Washington Redskins.

Bradley Sylve was a highly touted cornerback coming out of high school and played for the Alabama Crimson Tide before being undrafted in 2016. Sylve has spent most of his career playing for the Philadelphia Stars, where he is currently their No.
3 corner. Sylve is known as a physical defender who loves to make plays on the ball, which has led to him accumulating over 100 tackles in each of his three seasons with Philadelphia.
Sylve is set to become a free agent at the end of this season and will likely be looking for another team that can give him an opportunity to play regularly on defense.
If he does find himself without a club next year, it's possible that Bradley Sylve could turn his attention towards making some noise in the NFL draft or signing with another professional football league overseas.

Colton Schmidt is a punter for the Buffalo Bills. He was undrafted in 2013 but signed with the 49ers afterwards. Cleveland Browns picked him up later that year and he played 3 games before being released in December of that year.
Schmidt then spent time on injured reserve with the 49ers before signing with the Buffalo Bills in 2014 where he has been since then.. He has had some success as a punter, including setting an NFL record for most consecutive punt returns without getting tackled (14).
However, his accuracy rates have not always been great, which could be attributed to poor field conditions or inconsistent coaching from his coaches at various points during his career thus far... Schmidt was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Schmidt spent his first two seasons with the 49ers on their practice squad before being signed to their active roster for the 2016 season.

Johnson was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 2014, but did not play a game with them. He signed with the Washington Redskins the following year and played two games there before being released.
Johnson then joined the New England Patriots for 2016 and had an impressive season recording nine sacks and helping to lead his team to their sixth Super Bowl victory.
Johnson will be entering his fourth NFL season in 2019, where he is likely to remain one of Tom Brady's key defensive players Johnson was a highly touted recruit out of high school, and he quickly made an impact in the NFL.
Johnson has been a force on the defensive side of the ball for most of his career, recording 16 tackles and 0 sacks in 2016 alone. He also racked up 1 fumble recovery that season, helping lead the Jets to their first playoff appearance in over 20 years.
In 2017, Johnson continued to be one of New York's top defenders while playing alongside star pass rusher Leonard Williams.

Blacknall was undrafted in 2018 but was signed to the Raiders' practice squad. Blacknall played college football at Penn State. Blacknall attended Manalapan high school in Englishtown, New Jersey.

11. Martez Carter
Carter was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended Garfield High School in Los Angeles and played college football at the University of Southern California.
Carter was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in September 2013. He was released by the Seahawks in March 2014 and signed with the Miami Dolphins the next month.
He was released by the Dolphins in September 2014. Carter signed with the Los Angeles Wildcats in January 2015. He was released by the Wildcats in October 2015.
Carter signed with the Arizona Cardinals in December 2015. Carter was a highly touted recruit coming out of high school and was selected with the 4th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Brooklyn Nets.
He played one season with the Nets before being traded to the Lakers. Carter has had a disappointing tenure with the Lakers, averaging just 5.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Carter is a capable scorer off the bench, averaging 13.8 points per game in 2016-17.
Carter has had issues with substance abuse in the past and could be released by the Lakers at any time. Carter is a hardworking player who has the potential to be a valuable contributor in the future if he can stay clean.

Giorgio Tavecchio is a professional kicker who has played for the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers in the NFL. Giorgio Tavecchio attended Campolindo High School in Moraga, California.
