Kaizer Chiefs Football Club is one of the most successful and renowned football clubs in South Africa. Founded in 1970, the team, which is based in Naturena, Johannesburg South, has become a powerhouse in South African football, winning 13 league titles and over 78 club trophies.

Kaizer Motaung was born in South Africa on October 16, 1944. He played forward for the South African national team, and is considered one of the greatest players in the history of that country.

He retired from international play in 1988, but continued to play for his club team, Orlando Pirates, until 1999. In 1999, Kaizer Motaung was appointed head coach of the South African national team, and led them to the quarterfinals of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

He was fired as head coach in October 2003, following a string of disappointing results. Kaizer Motaung currently coaches South African club Platinum Stars. 

He has been married to his wife, Sabina, since 1977. Kaizer Motaung has two children, a son, Siphiwe, and a daughter, Khanyisa.

Kaizer Motaung was awarded the Order of Mapungubwe in 2007, for his contributions to football in South Africa.

Itumeleng Khune is a South African goalkeeper who currently plays for Kaizer Chiefs. Khune made his debut for Kaizer Chiefs in 2007 and has since played over 180 matches for the club.

Doctor Khumalo is a central midfielder who has played for teams in South Africa and Europe. He has been with Baroka since 2016, serving as the team's technical director.

Khumalo was born in Soweto, South Africa, and started his career at AmaZulu. He moved to Europe to play for Belgian side Royal Antwerp in 1994. 

He then played for Spanish side Valencia for two seasons, before moving to Germany to join Werder Bremen.

Khumalo spent six seasons with Werder Bremen, winning the Bundesliga title in 2003. He then moved to English side Middlesbrough, where he spent four seasons. 

Khumalo then moved to South Africa to join Kaizer Chiefs in 2009. He retired from football in 2013, but has since returned to coaching.

Doctor Khumalo is a versatile defender who can play at both left-back and centre-back. He first broke into the Kaizer Chiefs first team in 1987 and has since made over 400 appearances for the club. 

Doctor Khumalo has also represented South Africa on international level, making 50 appearances between 1992 and 2001.

He is a regular member of the South Africa national team and was part of the squad that competed at the 2002 World Cup. Doctor Khumalo is a hard-working defender who is always willing to put in a shift for his team.

John Moshoeu was born in Soweto, South Africa in 1965. Moshoeu started his career playing for Blue Whales in the SA National League. He helped the team win the championship in 1984.

Moshoeu then moved to Kaizer Chiefs, where he played for six seasons. He helped the team win the championship in 1990 and 1993. In 1998, Moshoeu joined English side Tottenham Hotspur.

He helped the team win the FA Cup in 2001. Moshoeu returned to South Africa in 2002, and played for Platinum Stars. He retired from professional football in 2004. Moshoeu returned to playing in 2008, and joined Jomo Cosmos.

He helped the team win the league championship in 2009. Moshoeu retired from professional football for a second time in 2010. 

Moshoeu returned to playing in 2014, and joined Orlando Pirates. He helped the team win the league championship in 2015.

Moshoeu died on 21 April 2015, aged 49.

Patrick Ntsoelengoe was born on February 26, 1952 in Randfontein, South Africa. He began his football career playing for Mohlakeng Home Stars in 1968. 

Ntsoelengoe then moved to Kaizer XI where he played for two seasons before joining the senior side of Kaizer Chiefs in 1970.

He spent 10 seasons with Chiefs, making 379 appearances and scoring 172 goals. Ntsoelengoe was a key member of the Chiefs side that won the league championship in 1981, 1984, and 1985. 

He also won the Telkom Cup twice (1982 and 1985) and the Nedbank Cup once (1985). Ntsoelengoe retired from football in 1993, after helping Chiefs to win the league championship again.

He died on May 8, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. Patrick Ntsoelengoe was inducted into the Kaizer Chiefs Hall of Fame in 2007.

Ace Khuse was born in 1963 and started his career with League One side Lincoln City. He moved to Orlando Pirates in 1986 and played for them for six seasons.

Khuse then had a two-year spell with Kaizer Chiefs before joining Mamelodi Sundowns in 1992. He retired in 1998 after playing for Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Vitesse Arnhem.

Khuse has since worked as a football agent and is now retired. He was a regular member of the South African national team and played in the 1988 and 1990 World Cup. Khuse is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in South Africa's history.

He is the father of current Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Khaya Khuse. Ace Khuse was named the South African Footballer of the Year in 1992. 

Ace Khuse played for Mamelodi Sundowns from 1986 to 1989 and then for Kaizer Chiefs from 1989 to 1993. He then played for Gençlerbirliği from 1993 to 1996.

Khuse then played for Antalyaspor from 1996 to 1997. He then played for South Africa from 1992 to 1995. Khuse then returned to Kaizer Chiefs as an assistant manager from 1999 to 2002. 

He then became interim manager of Kaizer Chiefs from 2012 to 2013. Khuse is currently the assistant manager of Kaizer Chiefs.

Neil Tovey was born on 2 July 1962 in Pretoria, South Africa. He started his career as a defender with Juventus Durban in 1980 before moving to AmaZulu in 1986.

He played for Kaizer Chiefs from 1990 to 1999, winning the Premier Soccer League title in 1993 and the Nedbank Cup in 1997. He retired from professional football in 1999.

Tovey has been a member of the South African national team since 1986 and has played at the World Cup and the Confederations Cup. He has been awarded the South African Presidential Award for Sport and the Order of Mapungubwe.

Tovey is a coach at Chiefs' academy and was appointed interim head coach of the team in November 2016. 

Tovey has two sons, one of whom, Siphiwe Tovey, also plays professional football. Neil Tovey was named in the FIFA World Team of the Year in 2003 and 2013.

9. Nelson Dladla

Nelson Dladla was born in South Africa in 1954. Dladla started his football career with local side KwaThema before moving to Ajax Cape Town in 1976. 

Dladla spent ten seasons with Ajax Cape Town before moving to Kaizer Chiefs in 1990.

Dladla made over 350 appearances for Chiefs, winning the league title in 1993 and the Socceroos' World Cup qualification in 1995. 

Dladla retired from football in 1996 and later took up coaching. Dladla was appointed the head coach of South Africa national team in August 2010, but resigned in May 2012.

Dladla was appointed the manager of Kaizer Chiefs in December 2012, but resigned in May 2013. Dladla was appointed the head coach of Free State Stars in December 2013, but resigned in January 2016.

Ryder Mofokeng was born in Soweto, South Africa in 1952. He attended the University of the Witwatersrand, where he studied Electrical Engineering. Mofokeng is best known for his work in the telecommunications industry.

He was a co-founder of the Telkom Group, one of South Africa's largest telecommunications companies. 

Mofokeng was also a philanthropist and involved in a number of charitable projects. He died aged 68 in 2021 after a long illness.

Radebe played for Mamelodi Sundowns from 1998 to 2006, before moving to Platinum Stars in 2006. Radebe played for Platinum Stars from 2006 to 2011, before moving to Orlando Pirates in 2011. Radebe retired from professional football in 2011.

Lucas Radebe has won 16 caps for the South African national team, and has scored 2 goals. Lucas Radebe currently works as a football agent. 

Lucas Radebe played for Kaizer Chiefs and Leeds United, both in the English Premier League. He represented South Africa at international level, winning the Africa Cup of Nations in 1996.

Khama Billiat is a Zimbabwean professional footballer who currently plays for Kaizer Chiefs. He was born on 19 August 1990 in Harare. Khama started his career in his home country with Zimbabwe's top flight club, Mashonaland Eagles.

He moved to South Africa in 2011, joining North-West Cavalry. Khama moved to Kaizer Chiefs in 2014. Khama has played for the Zimbabwe national team on multiple occasions, including at the 2014 World Cup. He is a powerful and fast winger.

Siyabonga Nomvethe is a former South African football player who played for Claremont Blizzards and Kaizer Chiefs in the late 1990s. Nomvethe was born in Durban, South Africa, in 1977.

Nomvethe started his career with Sabatha FC in the early 1990s. Nomvethe moved to the United States to play for Claremont Blizzards in 1997. Nomvethe moved to Kaizer Chiefs in 1998 and played for the club until 2001.
