Dejan Lovren is a Serbian-born Croatian centre back who has played for Lyon since joining the club in 2018. He previously spent six years with Dinamo Zagreb, winning two Croatian titles and helping his side to finish as runners up in the 2013–14 Champions League.

Dejan Lovren was born on 5 July 1989 in Zenica, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia.[4] At 1.88 metres (6 ft 2 inches), he is tall enough to play at either centre back or central midfield positions but has predominantly been deployed as a defender during his career.

Dejan Lovren started playing football for BSC Sendling before moving on to NK Ilovac, where he won promotion from the second division in 2002.

After three seasons with Dinamo Zagreb – including one campaign which ended in runner-up status as Croatia qualified for Euro 2004 – Lovren joined Bundesliga outfit Karlsruher SC loaned by Dinamo until the end of 2006 season.

Signed by Liverpool permanently for £20 million (£17m plus add-ons) on 27 May 2006,[7] Dejan Lovren made 36 appearances over two seasons at Anfield and helped the Reds win their first league title since 1990.

Also appearing in both legs of Liverpool’s victorious 2007 UEFA Champions League semi-final against Milan.[14] On 10 January 2009, Liverpool announced that they had reached an agreement with Dinamo Zagreb whereby they would release. 

Dejan Lovren so that he could join La Liga side Valencia CF on a fourandahalf year contract worth £16million.

However this move never materialised due to various problems between clubs and eventually Liverpool withdrew their offer after failing to receive any payment from Valencia.[16].

Sardar Azmoun is a forward who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen. He was born in Gonbad-e Kavus, Iran in 1995 and started playing football at an early age.

Igor Denisov started his youth career at local club, Turbostroitel St. Petersburg. He made his professional debut in 2003 with Leningrad side Lokomotiv Moscow and went on to make over 150 appearances for the club during a 10-year spell.

In 2008, Denisov was named Russian Football Championship top scorer after netting 17 goals in 26 matches as Lokomotiv finished runners up to FC Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Yuri Zheludkov is a retired Russian footballer who played as a midfielder or forward. Zheludkov played for a number of Russian clubs during his career, including Leningrad, CSKA Moscow, and Zenit St Petersburg.

Davydov is a retired Russian defender and academy director with FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. Davydov spent most of his playing career at FC Krylia Sovetov Kuybyshev before moving to FC Torpedo Togliatti and FC Mashinostroitel Tula.

Leonid Ivanov was born in Petrograd in 1921 and started playing football as a goalkeeper. He played for Dynamo Moscow, Leningrad and FC Spartak Moscow before retiring in 1962.

Dolgopolov was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October 2015 and subsequently withdrew from several tournaments. 

Dolgopolov died from cancer at the age of 54 in 2016. Dolgopolov is survived by his wife, Tatyana, and two children. Vladimir Dolgopolov is a defender who has played for several top-level Russian clubs.

Dolgopolov is known for his ball-playing ability, and is a regular member of the Russian national team. Dolgopolov retired from professional football in 2004 but has since made a return to the game.

Stanislav Zavidonov was a Russian footballer who played as a midfielder. He made his professional debut in 1956 with FC Kansk. He played for a number of Russian clubs, including FC Krasnodar, FC Rostov, FC Dynamo Moscow and FC Spartak Moscow.

He was a member of the Soviet Union national team, and won the bronze medal at the 1956 Olympic Games. Zavidonov died in 2021 at the age of 87.

He also had a short spell managing ASM Oran before returning to FC Trudovyye Rezervy Leningrad. He was a prolific goalscorer in the Soviet Union and is considered one of the best players in the club's history.

He made his debut for FC Trudovyye Rezervy Leningrad in 1954 and went on to play 334 games for the club. He scored 251 goals in all competitions and is considered one of the club's all-time greats. 

Zavidonov retired from football in 1996 and later worked as a football agent. He was inducted into the FC Trudovyye Rezervy Leningrad Hall of Fame in 2009.

Aleksandr Vasyutin is a Russian goalkeeper who currently plays for Zenit Saint Petersburg. Vasyutin made his professional debut in the Russian Premier League with Zenit in 2016.

He has previously played for FC Rostov, FC Krylia Sovetov Samara, and FC Terek Grozny. Vasyutin was named the Russian Footballer of the Year for 2017. He has represented Russia at Under-17, Under-19, and Under-21 level.

He then moved to Finland to play for FC Lahti, before returning to Russia to join Sarpsborg 08. He has since moved back to Zenit Saint Petersburg, where he is currently playing for the reserves.

Aleksandr Vasyutin has represented Russia at youth level, and has been called up for the senior team on a few occasions. 

He is a hard-working, defensively-sound centre-back who is always looking to put in a solid performance. Aleksandr Vasyutin is a popular player among his teammates and fans, and is always willing to lend a hand.

He is expected to continue playing at a high level for many years to come.

Daniil Odoyevsky is a Russian goalkeeper who currently plays for FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. Odoyevsky made his debut for Zenit in the Russian Premier League in 2015.

He has also played for Russian national team at various youth levels. Odoyevsky is a product of Zenit's youth system and has been a part of the first team for several seasons.

Odoyevsky has been praised for his shot-stopping abilities and is considered one of the club's most promising goalkeepers. Odoyevsky is contracted to Zenit until 2020. 

Odoyevsky is a regular member of the Russian national team and was part of the squad that finished in fourth place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Dmitry Sergeyev is a Russian footballer who currently plays for Zenit Saint Petersburg as a midfielder. 

Sergeyev made his professional debut for Zenit Saint Petersburg in the 2018-19 Russian Premier League season, coming on as a substitute in a 3-1 home victory over FC Rostov on 14 September 2018.

Sergeyev has represented his country at youth international level, making his debut for the Russia under-17s in a 3-1 victory over the Czech Republic in October 2016. 

Sergeyev was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and is of Russian ancestry. After making his debut for Zenit Saint Petersburg, Sergeyev won the 2018-19 Russian Premier League Best Young Player Award.

He is also a nominee for the 2018-19 Russian Premier League Golden Glove Award. Sergeyev is a product of the Zenit Saint Petersburg youth system.
