EuroBasket is an annual international basketball competition organized by FIBA Europe, the regional governing body of European basketball. It has been held since 1935 and its purpose is to crown the best national team in Europe. EuroBasket tournaments are held every two years with teams from all over the continent competing for a chance to be crowned as champion.

The tournament also serves as a qualifying event for upcoming World Cup competitions, including both men’s and women’s events. As one of the most prestigious basketball championships in all of Europe, EuroBasket brings together some of the world’s top players and teams each year to compete at their absolute highest level.

Evan Fournier was born in 1992 and is from Saint-Maurice, Val-de-Marne, France. He played high school basketball at INSEP (Paris, France) before being drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 2012.

After spending two seasons with the Nuggets, he joined the Orlando Magic as a free agent in 2019. Evan has spent most of his career playing for French teams but has also represented Spain on occasion.

Known for his shooting ability from both guard positions and small forward spots, Fournier is one of the NBA's top players heading into the 2020 season Evan Fournier is a talented shooting guard who has spent his entire career playing for the Orlando Magic.

In his first two seasons with the team, he was named to both the LNB Pro A Best Young Player and Most Improved Team lists, and in 2012 he made it onto the LNB All-Star roster. 

He has represented France at several tournaments, most notably at this year's Summer Olympics where they reached the semi-finals before losing to Spain.

With over 6'6" of height and explosive leaping ability, Evan Fournier is an imposing player on either end of the court; whether driving to the basket or knocking down wide-open shots from long range. 

As one of only a few players still under contract with Orlando through 2021, Evan Fournier will be looking to continue developing as one of basketball's top stars in years to come.

2. Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk was born on June 10, 1997 in Cherkasy, Ukraine. He played college ball at Kansas where he averaged 16.5 points and 5 rebounds per game as a senior in 2018.

In the 2018 NBA draft, Mykhailiuk was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 47th overall pick. In his rookie season with the Lakers (2018-19), Sviatoslav averaged 2 points and 1 rebound per game while shooting 34% from 3 point range.

Sviatoslav as he is averaging 13 points and 4 rebounds per game while shooting 43% from 3 point range. Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk is a 6'8" shooting guard from Ukraine who played collegiately at Kansas. He was drafted in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks.

In his rookie season, he averaged 5 points and 2 rebounds per game while playing limited minutes off the bench for the Knicks. After two seasons with New York, he signed with the Detroit Pistons as a free agent in 2019. 

In his first year with Detroit, Sviatoslav increased his point totals to 14 points and 4 assists per game while starting all 82 games for them; however they were eliminated in the first round of playoffs against Milwaukee Bucks 3-1 despite Sviatoslav averaging 21 points on 47% shooting from three-point range during their series against each other (11/22–12/6).

Following Detroit's elimination from playoff contention, Sviatoslov agreed to sign with Oklahoma City Thunder on a one-year deal worth $2 million dollars before becoming an unrestricted free agent again following next season.

Dragić was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 6 May 1986. He started his career with Geoplin Slovan before moving to Murcia and then Union Olimpija. Dragić has played for the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, and San Antonio Spurs in his playing career thus far.

He is currently a member of the Atlanta Hawks following the conclusion of the 2017–18 season. Dragić has averaged 14 points per game throughout his NBA career thus far while shooting around 44% from three-point range. 

Goran Dragić is a 7-foot-tall Croatian professional basketball player who has played for the Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Saski Baskonia, and the Miami Heat.

He was drafted by the Suns with the 4th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. He won an Olympic gold medal as part of Team Croatia at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics after defeating Spain 108-93 in the final game. 

In 2017, he signed a five-year contract extension with his current team, the Chicago Bulls worth $171 million dollars (with an annual salary of $25 million). 

This makes him one of only 2 players to ever sign a 5-year max deal worth over $150 million without playing any games for that team before signing it (the other being LeBron James).

Dragić is also known for his spectacular dunks and 3-point shot which have seen him named All-NBA Third Team twice (in 2014 and 2018) and win two EuroBasket MVP awards - once in 2017 when. 

Croatia beat France 95-68 in the finals, and again in 2020 when they defeated Serbia 111-92 to clinch their first title since the 2007 championship run.

Alex Len is a 7 foot 2-inch center from Ukraine who was drafted fifth overall in the 2013 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings. Len played college basketball at Maryland where he averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds per game as a junior and senior.

In his rookie season with the Kings, Len started all 82 games and led the team in blocks (1.8 ppg) and field goal percentage (.565). His next two seasons were also very successful for Len as he averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds per game while averaging 1 block more each year.

On July 9th, 2019, it was announced that Len would undergo surgery to repair a torn left meniscus just days after being traded to the Atlanta Hawks from Sacramento Len is a talented big man who has steadily improved his play over the past two seasons with the Phoenix Suns. 

Len has good range on his shot and can score from anywhere on the court, which makes him an important part of any offense.

He's also proven to be a versatile player, able to fill multiple roles for his team both offensively and defensively. Len will need to continue working hard if he wants to become one of the top centers in the NBA, but he seems poised for great things in years to come. 

Overall, Len is a promising young center with plenty of potential that should keep fans excited about future Suns games.

Sabonis was drafted 11th overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2016 NBA Draft. He played for two teams in Europe before joining Lithuanian side Unicaja Málaga in 2012.

Sabonis helped his team to win the Spanish League championship and EuroLeague title during his time there. He joined Sacramento Kings as a free agent at the end of the 2017–18 season and made an immediate impact on their roster with 15 points per game average over 20 appearances that season.

In 2018–19, he averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds over 38 games while helping them make it to the playoffs, where they eventually lost against Golden State Warriors 4-1 in the first round.

 Sabonis is considered one of Lithuania’s most promising young players and has been called up several times to represent his country at the international level including at FIBA World Cup 2019.

Qualifiers (where they finished second behind Serbia) and EuroBasket 2021 qualification campaign (they narrowly missed out on qualifying for their first-ever major tournament).

In the 2020 Summer Olympics, Sabonis led Lithuania's national team to a Bronze medal finish after losing 2-0 against eventual champions USA in the quarterfinals. 

His was also Sabonis' Olympic debut aged just 22 years old which makes him one of only four players under 23. Who has won an Olympic medal with their respective countries - alongside Andre Iguodala (USA), Pau Gasol (Spain) & Serge Ibaka(France).

Bojan Bogdanović was born on April 18, 1989, in Mostar, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina. He played college basketball at Real Madrid where he averaged 11 points and 5 rebounds per game over three seasons.

Bogdanović was drafted by the Miami Heat with the 31st overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft and has since played for several teams including Zrinjski Mostar (2004–2005), Real Madrid (2005–2006) and Detroit Pistons (2017-present).

Bojan is a versatile small forward who can score from anywhere on the court, having been labeled as one of the most skilled players in Europe during his playing days. Bojan Bogdanović was born on February 2, 1992, in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He played college basketball for the Real Madrid B team of the Spanish Liga ACB from 2006 to 2008 before joining Murcia of the same league.

After two seasons with Murcia, Bogdanović joined Fenerbahçe Ülker of the Turkish Super League in 2009 where he made an immediate impact by helping his team win back-to-back titles in his first two seasons there.

In 2011, Bojan Bogdanović signed with Croatian club Cibona but left after one season due to injury problems; he would later join fellow Turkish side Fenerbahçe again in 2014 where he played until 2017 when he moved to Brooklyn Nets and then Washington Wizards (both NBA teams). 

On July 10th 2019, Bojan Bogdanovic officially announced that he is signing with Indiana Pacers for a three-year deal starting from 2020–21 NBA Season.

Ricky Rubio was born on 21 October 1990 in El Masnou, Spain. He played for Joventut Badalona from 2005 to 2009 and FC Barcelona from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, he joined the Minnesota Timberwolves and has remained with them since then.

Rubio is a Point Guard and has been playing in the NBA since 2005. With the Utah Jazz, he made it to the semi-finals of the 2017 NBA Playoffs before being eliminated by Golden State Warriors in five games; this was his first playoff appearance as a player for Utah Jazz.

Ricky Rubio is currently a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers Ricky Rubio is a two-time EuroLeague champion and FIBA EuroChallenge MVP.

Petrović was a Croatian shooting guard who played in the NBA for ten seasons. He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers with 60th overall pick in 1986 and spent three seasons there before moving to the New Jersey Nets.

Petrović is best known for his time at Cibona where he won two Yugoslav Championships and one EuroLeague Championship, as well as being named MVP of both tournaments in 1988.

 Petrović died from cancer at age 28 in 1993, just months after helping Croatia win their first-ever Olympic gold medal basketball game against Yugoslavia.

Dražen Petrović was a prolific scorer in the European leagues, winning multiple awards. He also excelled at EuroBasket competition, where he won two consecutive MVPs and three championships with Yugoslavia. 

After playing for several teams in Europe, Petrović eventually joined Real Madrid and helped lead them to back-to-back NBA titles in 1988–1989.

Franz Wagner was born in Berlin, Germany on August 27th, 2001. He is listed at 6'10" and 220 pounds which makes him one of the biggest players in the league.

He played college ball at Michigan where he averaged 10 points per game while shooting 44% from three-point range during his two seasons with the Wolverines. 

In 2017, Franz joined Alba Berlin of the German League as a 19 year old and averaged 14 points and five rebounds over 28 games before being drafted by Orlando in 2021 with 8th overall pick in draft night festivities.

Goga Bitadze was born on 20 July 1999 in Sagarejo, Georgia. He played college basketball for Vita Tbilisi and Mega before being drafted by the Indiana Pacers in 2019.

In his two seasons with Mega, Bitadze averaged 14 points and nine rebounds per game. He made his NBA debut with the Indiana Pacers in February 2019, recording four points and three rebounds off the bench against the Detroit Pistons.

Bitadze is a versatile center who can play both inside and out; he's also known for his rebounding abilities (he led all rookies in rebounding last season). 

With further development, we believe that Goga could one day become an All-Star caliber player for the Pacers Goga Bitadze is a Montenegrin-born professional basketball player who currently plays for the Indiana Pacers of the NBA.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo is a world-class basketball player who has spent his entire career with the Milwaukee Bucks. He was born in Greece but moved to Nigeria as a child, which is where he began playing professional basketball.

Vlatko Cančar was born on 10 April 1997 in Koper, Slovenia. He is a small forward and played for Koš Koper from 2012-2013 before being drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 2017.

In his rookie season with the Nuggets, he averaged 5 points per game while shooting 37% from 3 point range. Vlatko has represented Slovenia at various youth levels including at the U18 European Championships where he helped them to a silver medal finish in 2016.

Despite starting all 33 games for Erie BayHawks last season averaging 16 points 4 rebounds 2 assists 1 steal whilst shooting 44 percent from two point range 36 percent from beyond the arc 23 percent from inside 3 feet & 79 percent from free throw line. 

It wasn't enough as they were unable or unwilling to make any progress towards qualifying for playoffs despite having home-court advantage throughout much of regular season, unlike previous seasons.

Korkmaz is a Turkish shooting guard who was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2016. He has spent the entirety of his professional career with the Sixers, appearing in 178 games and averaging 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

December 5, 1991 in Zagreb, Croatia. He started playing organized basketball at age 7 with his local club NK Slavonac before signing with Italian side Virtus Bologna at age 16. Nicolas Batum is a French small forward and power forward who has played in the NBA since 2008. He was drafted by the Houston Rockets, but only played for them for one season before moving to Portland Trail Blazers.

In Portland, he made an immediate impact as a rookie, averaging 14 points per game and winning Rookie of The Year honors. 

He continued his progress in subsequent seasons, becoming an All-Star twice and helping the Blazers make it to the playoffs each time they entered (they were knocked out on both occasions).

Luka Dončić is a Slovenian point guard who was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 2018. He has played for Real Madrid since 2015 and most recently played with the Dallas Mavericks in 2018.

In 2018–19, Osman averaged 9 points and 3 rebounds per game while starting all 82 games for Cleveland; helping them to make it to their first ever Finals appearance where they lost 4-1 to Golden State Warriors Osman is a versatile player who can play both the point guard and shooting guard positions.

He was an important part of Turkey's success at the European U20 Championship in 2014, where he helped lead them to victory.

Vasilije Micić is a Serbian point guard who currently plays for Anadolu Efes in the Turkish Basketball Super League. He was drafted 52nd overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2014 and has since played for Bayern Munich, Mega Vizura, and Bayern II.

Worthy de Jong is a Dutch shooting guard and small forward who has played for ZZ Leiden since 2016. De Jong attended Ranger College in 2006 before playing for ZZ Leiden from 2009 to 2022.

He has won several awards during his career, including the Dutch championship in 2014 and 2017, as well as the EuroCup title with ZZ Leiden in 2018. 

Worthy de Jong is considered one of the best Shooting Guards/Small Forwards in Europe and is expected to continue playing at an high level for many years to come Worthy de Jong was a dominant defender in the Dutch Basketball League (DBL).

He won multiple awards, including Defensive Player of the Year and MVP. De Jong also played for ZZ Leiden where he retired as a No. 6 player in history.

Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot is a French small forward and shooting guard who was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2016. In his first two seasons in the NBA, he played for Antibes Sharks and Mega Leks before joining the Sixers.

He has scored over 1,000 points in each of his three seasons in Europe, which includes stints with Mega Leks and Antibes Sharks in Liga Basket Serie A, as well as EuroLeague club Panathinaikos Athens where he won a championship this season.

Cabarrot is known for his strong outside shot as well as his ball handling skills on offense; many observers believe that these qualities will make him successful at the next level if he continues to develop them. 

He joins fellow international players Dario Saric and Joel Embiid on an already talented 76ers roster looking to return to prominence after missing out on playoffs last season.

Ponitka was born in Poland and played college basketball there before being undrafted in the 2015 NBA draft. He signed with Asseco Prokom of the Greek Basket League in 2013, helping them to a league championship that year.

Ponitka then moved to Oostende of Belgium for the 2014–15 season where he helped lead them to their first Belgian Cup title. In 2015, Ponitka joined Panathinaikos of Greece and has thrived playing alongside several other Polish players on their team including Marcin Gortat and Jakub Blaszczykowski.

Ponitka is averaging 12 points per game this season as Panathinaikos currently sit second in their division standings behind Olympiacos.

The 29-year-old forward has expressed his desire to play professionally outside of Europe once his contract with Panathinaikos ends at the end of next season; however, he will remain based out of Poland until then.

Tony Parker is a French-American professional basketball player who played for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. He was drafted by the Spurs in 2001 and has since made over 700 appearances, scoring more than 20,000 points along the way.

In 2012 he won his first championship with San Antonio and also led France to their first ever Olympic gold medal that year. Since 2019 he has been playing for ASVEL Basket of LNB Pro A in Europe. The 6-time NBA All-Star started his professional career with Paris Basket Racing in 1999.

He joined the San Antonio Spurs in 2001, and became a key player on their championship teams of 2003–2007. In 2011, Parker was traded to ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne of France, where he helped lead them to two LNB titles before joining the Charlotte Hornets in 2018.

Lorenzo Brown is a talented point guard and shooting guard who has played in both the EuroLeague and Ligat HaAl. Lorenzo Brown was born on August 26, 1990, in Rockford, Illinois.

At NC State, Brown helped lead the Wolfpack to an ACC Tournament championship as a Junior in 2011. 

He then transferred to Hargrave Military Academy where he led his team to back-to-back Virginia state championships as a Senior in 2012 and 2013 before entering the NBA Draft after his final season at NC State.

After going undrafted out of college, Brown signed with Israeli club Tel Aviv for the 2014–2015 season where he averaged 12 points per game over 23 appearances before signing with Spanish powerhouse Barcelona for the 2015–2016 campaign where he averaged 10 points and 5 assists per contest over 34 games played (27 starts).

Since 2016, Brown has been playing with Italian side Treviso averaging 11 points and 6 rebounds per night across 36 contests (28 starts).
