Early years

Demario Davis was born in Brandon, Mississippi to a 16-year-old mother and a career enlisted soldier father who had served in the US Army. Growing up, Demario played football, basketball and track for his local high school team.

He made an impression early on as he helped lead the football team to its 14th playoff appearance during his sophomore year. As a senior at Brandon High School, Demario recorded 81 tackles with six interceptions and one sack while also receiving over 30 passes for 386 yards with four TDs.

His impressive performance earned him selection into the Clarion Ledger All Metro Team that season which further highlighted his athletic prowess among peers of similar age group from across Mississippi State.

He was additionally part of starting lineup for varsity basketball team alongwith competing as high jumper in Track & Field events hosted by Brandon High School’s Athletics Department during this time period too..

Throughout his three-year tenure with the Browns, he accumulated 197 combined tackles, five sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles and 12 passes defensed over 32 starts. In 2015, Davis signed a three-year contract with the New York Jets worth $24 million.
