Botola Pro 1 is the premier professional football league in Morocco. It is the highest level of the Moroccan football league system, and is contested by 16 teams from across the country. The season runs from August to May, with teams playing 30 matches each.
The league is managed by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, and the current champions are Raja Casablanca. Botola Pro 1 is known for its competitive nature, with teams often competing for the title until the very last matchday.
It is also known for its passionate fans, who often travel great distances to support their team. With a rich history of success, Botola Pro 1 is one of the most exciting football leagues in Africa.

Didier Lamkel Zé is a forward who currently plays for Kortrijk in the Belgian Pro League. He started his career with EFBC, before moving to Khimki in Russia in 2017.
Lamkel Zé has represented Cameroon at youth level, and was part of the team that competed at the U-20 World Cup in Nigeria in 2017. He scored one goal during the tournament, which helped Cameroon reach the quarterfinals.

Yahia Attiyat Allah was born on March 2nd 1995 in Safi, Morocco. Yahia started his football career at the age of 9 playing for local side USM Casablanca.
He made a name for himself with Wydad AC and has since become one of the most highly rated left-backs in Europe, helping them win both the Moroccan Super Cup and CAF Champions League in 2017.
Yahia is also Algeria's youth captain and represented his country at the Under-20 level before making his senior debut against Mali last year.
In 2018 he became Wydad AC's all time leading goalscorer with 25 goals in 83 appearances, including two hat-tricks during their run to the CAF Confederation Cup Final.

Yahia was born in the city of Casablanca on 9 December 1994 and started playing football at an early age with local side CR Belouizdad before moving to French side FC Metz Academy later that year.

Axel Méyé was born on 6 June 1995 in Libreville, Gabon. He is a forward and currently plays for Raja Club Athletic. Axel has represented his country at U-17, U-20 and senior level including appearances at the 2013 African Youth Championship and 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Yousri Bouzok is a French-Algerian winger who currently plays for Raja CA. Bouzok started his career with Olympique de Marseille, where he made 25 appearances and scored 2 goals between 2013 and 2014.

Ayoub El Amloud is a Moroccan professional footballer who currently plays for Wydad AC. He has played as a right-back for various clubs in his country and abroad, most notably at Valencia CF and Atlético Madrid.
Ayoub El Amloud made his senior debut with hometown club Ouarzazate in the 2011–12 season, before joining Spanish giants Valencia CF on loan the following year.
He helped Valencia reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals that season, before returning to Morocco to join Atlético Madrid on loan midway through the 2014–15 campaign.
After making 25 appearances for Atlético Madrid, including four starts in La Liga matches during their championship-winning campaign of 2016–17, Ayoub re-joined Wydad AC on a permanent deal ahead of the 2017–18 season.

Jamal Harkass is a Moroccan international centre-back who currently plays for Raja CA. He made his senior debut in 2014, and has since gone on to feature for the Morocco national team at various youth levels.

Abdelilah Madkour is a Morocco international right back who currently plays for FC Barcelona. He made his debut for the national team in 2016 and has since played at junior level, representing his country at both the U-17 and U-20 levels.

Mohamed Zrida is a 23-year-old Moroccan midfielder who currently plays for French club Lille.
He made his professional debut with hometown side Casablanca in the 2015–16 season, and went on to make 36 appearances in all competitions.
In January 2018, he joined Lille on a five-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee. Mohamed Zrida has also represented Morocco at youth level, making three appearances at the U20 World Cup and one appearance at the U23 European Championship.
He is known for his passing ability and ball control; during his time with Casablanca, he averaged over 70 passes per game across all competitions.

Karim El Berkaoui is a forward for Moroccan club Al-Raed. He was born in 1995 and is 1.85 metres tall. El Berkaoui has played for several youth teams before making his senior debut in the Moroccan U-20 league in 2015.

Reda Hajhouj is a Moroccan winger who has played for several clubs in his country and abroad. He joined Olympique de Marseille from Sochaux in the summer of 2017, making 26 appearances and scoring four goals before returning to Morocco at the end of that season.
Reda Hajhouj was born on 2 July 1994 in Casablanca, Morocco. At just under 1.75 metres tall, Hajhouj is an attacking midfielder or winger with good dribbling skills and pace on the flanks.

Zakaria Hadraf has played for Raja Casablanca since 2013 and is currently their seventh-choice winger. He was born in 1990 in El Jadida, Morocco, and started playing football at a young age with his local team.
In 2008 he moved to France to further his career and signed for US Créteil-Lusitanos, where he made 34 appearances over two seasons before moving back to Morocco in 2011.

Simon was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on 2 October 1993. He started his career with local side Al-Qadsiah before joining Belgian club Kortrijk in summer 2013.
After impressing at Kortrijk, Simon moved to Dutch club Roda JC in January 2016 and helped the team reach the Eredivisie play-offs. In June of that year, Simon signed for Egyptian Premier League side Al-Qadsiah and has since become a regular starter for the squad.
Simon is also known for his strong performances during Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers where he scored five goals in six matches over two years (2015–16).

Hamza Khabba was born on June 9th, 1996 in Mohammedia, Morocco. He is 1.87 m (6 ft 1 in) tall and has a slender build. Hamza started playing football at a young age and quickly became skilled at the sport.

Brahim El Bahri is a Moroccan midfielder who currently plays for CR Khemis Zemamra. He has previously played for FAR Rabat and was part of the Moroccan Under-20 team that finished runners-up at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
